Can’t begin to describe how helpful, professional and knowledgeable Crystal was today (Nov. 24). She went above and beyond helping me find the correct battery replacement for my car and even assisted in looking under my hood to make sure I purchased the right unit. She did this all with a smile while assisting other customers in an obviously understaffed store. Thank you, Crystal. Fantastic service.

Update 9/22/2025 I bought a marine battery 1 year and 15 days ago and the neg peg that has threads on it fell out!!! Guy at the store said holy cow I never saw this ever the battery is defective but they will not horror any form of warranty for a shot battery that they sold me. TALK TO CORPORATE AND ERIN WAS JUST A NASTY PERSON HE CLEARLY HATES LIFE!! NEVER SHOP AT ADVANCED AUTO GO TO NAPA AT LEAST THEY WILL HORROR THERE WORD!!!

Save time and go somewhere else. I went in to buy a new battery and asks to test the old one. All their battery testers were broken. While I was waiting I was browsing battery accessories and some older employee named Fred who looks like Harry Carry barked at me and said that part of the store was off limits even though items in that aisle had price tags on them. Poor customer service and employees with bad attitudes.

Came in to grab some interior cleaner and wiper fluid. Should have been easy. Stood at the counter with my items for a couple minutes while the two employees [who noticed me] behind the counter chatted. No one acknowledged me, so I put the items back and left. I'll choose a different store next time.

Disappointed with the support I recently received…and it should have been easy. Went a couple of times for car battery replacement…turned me away twice because they were too busy to replace, but they did see and test my battery. I didn’t have a problem with being turned away those two times, but the third time they said they had time to replace the battery, but then told me they couldn’t because it was recessed. The same guy that saw and tested my battery the first time told me they can’t replace it. He should have told me that the first time…wasted two weeks, three trips to the store, and two AAA jump starts. Bad job by them.

Went to Advanced Auto Parts in Shrewsbury on 1/13/24, and the customer service was awful. The woman behind the counter was rude and dismissed me to the other guy, who was even worse. Asked about a battery installation, and he rudely said it was too cold—something that’s never been an issue before. Every time I’ve dealt with this older man, he’s been nasty and unhelpful. Terrible attitude and zero customer service. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I usually shop at another local auto parts store but gave this place a shot. Never again. Staff was so inattentive, basically ignoring me as a stood there with purchase/ taking other customers before me as I stood in line. I could have been in and out in 5 minutes, but it was obvious I was being ignored. Never going back.

Guys, I do not recommend this store! The attendants are very rude and rude! They attended me well when I bought the product, but they did not give me an invoice, when I realized that I had bought the wrong product, I came back two minutes later to make the exchange and I was treated badly by the manager who refused to decide to make the exchange or return my money! I am very disappointed because I thought this company was serious and treated its customers seriously, but they are not!

This place is absolute. awesome. I live just around the corner from this place .just awesome if they don't have your part they will find it for you.. at another location. The staff is cool and they make sure you all the discounts for your parts even looking threw the sales paper with u ..

Very disappointed w Tom and the manner in which he spoke to me . I was returning parts that we bought at another advance , wo receipt and he refused to do my transaction or give me a merchandise card . Very rude and raised his voice at me . I’ve returned items at other locations wo receipt and always received a merchandise card for value of return !! Tom stated we don’t do that here , I said this is a corporate store , correct ? He shrugged his shoulders . I truly believe he just didn’t want to go through procedure or didn’t know how !! I found him , Tom, to be in need of training Actually you are incorrect !! You can return items to store wo receipt the only thing is you get store merchandise card !! I guess you need to be trained as well , you are speaking to a current employee

Very helpful and always have what is needed. Do wish they had mentioned (verbally) that their operational hours had changed. It is listed outside, however I told them I'd be back the next night. When we arrived at 7:01 pm, the door was locked. They closed at 7pm and they used to be open until 9pm. The hour's change happened recently. Again, I should have looked above the sign with their hours.

Great service! Jacob went above and beyond to find the exact right fit to replace my windshield wipers, and put them on for me. My wipers are a bit banged out, so it was not easy task. Thank you for your time and effort Jacob!

App doesn't work due to fact you cant reset the password. Call to reset good luck.Dealing with website is also pain in the neck..takes a.long time to get the.order done. After that piece a cake. Went got the part in 5 minutes maybe not even that. Friendly guys but discount doesn't apply in store purchase i wonder how many sales are walking away by discouraged customers.

If I could give this store a zero I would and only because of 1 employee Linda. I asked if I can return an item from another store because it didn't work. Before she even saw the item she rolled her eyes and let out a sigh of annoyance. She told me I could not return the item because it was opened. I tried to explain to her that there is no way of knowing that it was defective without opening it. After a few minutes of he being rude and nasty she told me to go back to Middletown to return it. I went to Middletown and I was out within minutes with a refund and they were really helpful in the whole process. I will never return to the Shrewsbury store again. I have never seen such bad customer service.

Joel is fantastics! His level of customer service goes above & beyond. While shopping today he put new windshield wipers on an elderly ladies car & her performed a full diagnostic on my Infinite that was having a battery issue. As a woman, I like shopping at Advance Auto Parts... I never feel like I will be taken advantage of.

Another poor example of corporate America wanting to flood the market 7 days a week. It's really not all that confusing as to why they can't staff accordingly for a 7 days!! No concern for employees OR customers.

Very helpful staff. I've been to many of Advances stores and of all the stores I've been to the gentleman that helped me here was more knowledgeable than any other store I've been to. They didn't have the part I was looking for in stock but he was willing to order it for me for next day delivery. I don't like cookie cutter auto parts stores but the people here made it a good experience.

The people here have been very helpful on all of the many dozens of times I've been in there... If I have something to bring back that I didn't need it's never been a problem. If I need a part they didn't have it was always there the next day.... I did have to pay up front but I would have it the next day.... Sometimes you wait in line a bit but it's because of the excellent service they give to the people in front of them.. . I highly recommend the place
