Excellent, efficient service at a great price. Arrived 20 minutes after I called and towed about 30 miles for a very reasonable price. He even jump-started the car to get it onto the flatbed. Highly recommend!!

Derrick is the man. Nice, honest, and most of all helpful. Called him for a tow because I got a socket stuck on a spark plug that would not budge. He said let me try before I tow the car. Wouldn't you know he got it loose and proceeded to remove and replace the rest of the plugs with me. He didn't want any money, but I insisted because of what the tow and mechanic would have charged would have been way more. If you call anyone else for a tow good luck, Derrick's the man. Derrick was great. I call him in the morning and he came in an hour. My car had a flat tire and he moved my car safely to the tire shop. Everything was smooth and I will definitely use it again when I need it later.

They were great. They were able to get to us and tow our car quickly. Then I needed the receipt again a few weeks later and it was emailed to me right away. I would definitely recommend them!!

Absolutely great guy Called over 20 companies in a 45 minute radius No one wanted to come out late on a weekend and 2 guys told me for $2k they would come I needed a empty 53’ trailer picked up as the jacks collapsed and it was sitting 1’ off the ground I found 1 company over an hour away and they said $500 but we didn’t want to wait 2 hours Got ahold of Derrick and even tho he only does light duty he was more than willing to at least come out and give a hand trying to lift it and crib it so we could back a tractor underneath it Sure enough his rollback lifted it and all he asked for was $200! Absolutely great guy His pricing is mind bogglingly fair Even if his prices were higher I would use him over any other towing company because of how honest he is Not many people like him left in this world I have never written a review in my life but this gentleman deserved the small book I just wrote

From the initial contact, to the delivery the process was seamless. Getting a vehicle towed is typically not the most desirable service to need... but Derrick made the best of a breakdown for us. He was super responsive, fair priced, and helpful along the way. He kept me updated with pickup and dropoff times as well. Derrick was super helpful with towing my car yesterday! I called on Wednesday after another tow company referred Derrick to me, and he was super accommodating given that my request was kind of last minute. He communicated and checked in with me, and he was very friendly as well. He also gave me the price and invoice immediately; he’s very timely which I appreciated. Scheduled tow in advance, to have my VW brought to dealership for later in the week. Used Contact page of Derrick's website on a Saturday morning since request wasn't urgent. Expected response in 1 business day, but received that same Saturday. I booked appointment the following day - glad I did! Excellent communication throughout, from first contact on Saturday through delivery of my car to dealership on Thursday. Very friendly, too. Overall, a great experience - much appreciated!

Today I got a call from my son telling me his car broke down in Rutgers medical school parking lot. The break down was significant and he was fortunate that he had arrived in lot before it happened. We ( my husband and I ) scrambled to find a tow service locally where we lived Scotchplains area and made calls to insurance. It was frustrating not be able to actually talk to someone or get information efficiently and informatively. I thought I would try to search for a Towing service in the area of Piscataway where he was. I found Derricks Towing and Recovery!! And Thank GOD I did, his 5 star reviews were not hype. I called and was able to reach someone immediately , he was knowledgeable, patient and listened. Derrick was able to give me a price AND Time for picking up the car right away. And add to the fact that my phone dropped the calls 3 times and he was so professional and courteous that he ended up texting me to ensure he got the information correctly and reassured me that he would be able to help get the car and my son to a trusted Auto repair shop near our home. It was the best possible situation for a awfully nerve wracking event. I made sure I tipped him properly for given excellent service, this businesses high rating is much deserved!! I took a bunch of cards which I will distribute to friends and family as well as my son sharing them with classmates who need a tow or a lockout. Derrick I can not THANK YOU enough! Not only is he a really nice and understanding guy, but he was communicative, punctual, and had the proper equipment to tow a motorcycle. Derricks towing transported my car from NJ to PA. From pickup to drop off they were a top notch service. My car is built and lowered and I wouldn’t trust it to just anyone. I was there for the pickup but couldn’t meet it at delivery. They kept me informed every step of the way and sent pictures of it once it was delivered. I highly recommend these guys if you need a vehicle safely and properly flat bedded.

Quick, on time courteous, and friendly. This company really cared for my car as he put it on his flatbed. He even has soft straps to ease the car and avoid scraping my front spoiler. You can tell by how an owner/operator really cares for his truck as well. It’s immaculate!! I totally recommend Derrick and his crew.
