Very disrespectful staff. Guy in a grey truck will drive reckless and pull right out in front of you in your loaded CMV. He has no respect and doesn’t give clear instructions to the customers. Facility is nice and other than the unsafe associate who has a personal issue it’s a good location to pick up materials and deliver
Your operator eats while answering the phone. Terrible and unprofessional, but from the looks of the comments...you all don't care about professionalism!! Rude Operator...be careful you don't choke!
Laziest people ever and slightly rude. Only get up to look at what I’m putting in the bin and made me sort my own empty cardboard boxes with packing paper when they just sat there on a not-so-busy weekday.
Since mid year 2024 the scale house at this company has been out of control. The employees in the scale house are completely unprofessional. We have had trucks go to dump material and get charged different amounts for dumping the same material with the same truck. Some times we get charged $40.00 for a mason dump load of RCA, sometimes $80.00. Nobody in the office seems to care. This lack of consistency with pricing and unprofessionalism has made us stop coming into Bayshore completely, we now dump elsewhere and get our RCA elsewhere.
Was told by broker & gatehouse to come anytime before 5 and driver will be loaded. Driver arrived at 4:30 but was told he’s late and can’t be loaded anymore.
I am giving 5 stars only because of Charlie and one other person at the scale. I called for information and was tranferred to him. He told me come on down with the cast iron and that he would leave my name at the scale.
When I got there the guy at the gate didn't know what cast iron was so I had to show him. Then I got to the scale. I was there giving my paperwork to the guy at the scale who a while inputting my info. He then asked how I was paying and I said you guys are actually paying me lol.
I then followed the directions to the scrap yard. Charlie was coming my way with the pickup truck by chance and told me to follow him.
I then went to exit and met Charlie again. He told me I was on the wrong line and that I had to go to the same scale I went in.
I thanked him again. I would have been lost if not for him; other scrap yard I have been to only have 1 scale.
I also found out that they take mixed concrete. I will be back. Next time I will be a pro!

Staff over the scale was rude but the fork lift operator was very nice and quick loaded like 10 to 15 mins

Residential drop off of 1 AC and 2 dehumidifiers. $25 / unit. Effective plant, helpful staff, which is very important since this facility seems to be configured for commercial recycling, and much less for residential drop offs like mine.
I called the place to ask about items they recycle and their charges; my call was routed by receptionist to someone's voice mail; the person never returned my call. So I used the links on their website to submit inquiry about options for residential recycling (we well be remodeling our home, I asked about containers for demolition debris and options to recycle aluminum siding). No one responded to my email. But I received a strange call, the person introduced himself as "Chris", he talk to me like he was my buddy, and I could not recognize who he was. Then I heard the shuffling of papers on a desk, and background noise, no talk, so I hung up, I thought it was a wrong number call. But I googled out the number, and it was Bayshore's Keasbey, NJ main number! Looks like someone was looking at my email inquiry and had great fun looking at my questions, and probably my Eastern European name. Unbelievable!!! I called the number back, the receptionist told me there is no "Chris" at this location....
