My experience with Donald was excellent and very informative. I’ve been using Firestone’s services for the past 22 years. What I like most is that when you purchase four tires, you receive free lifetime tire rotation service. Even more important is their lifetime wheel alignment service — I’ve been purchasing it for all my vehicles. Their standard oil change prices are also very reasonable compared to competitors.The only drawback is that the road hazard protection is quite expensive. However, the good part is that it’s optional, and if you choose it, you can get new tires at a pro-rated cost based on the condition of your old ones.
Firestone in Edison is a great store, I felt really welcomed by Danny at the front desk. He told me a time my car would be done and the technician did it at a reasonable time. I would definitely be coming back whenever I need work done on my car.
The Staff at this location provide excellent service, whether you have a scheduled appointment or if you need something urgently. they do their uttermost to accomodate you. Kudos to Matt, Nick and Donald. They gave you their best professional advice and provide the most efficient service that one can expect. This is the Best Firestone location by far.

Was really great, had a problem with my MAF sensor for a while, got it checked elsewhere and they kept changing the sensors when is was an issue with my throttle body boot, finally fixed after a year and half. Also got a great discount.
My car was taken in for service at the appointed time, and the work was performed correctly and completely.The front desk personnel were excellent; Donald was kind enough to drive me home to pick up my cellphone charger, and drive me back to Firestone. I was updated on the time frame of the work. I am very pleased with Firestone and highly recommend this location.

I went to this place to get an oil change and my bottom splash guard removed because it was broken up, they ended up charging me for a full inspection in which I never asked for but whatever! Ended up stripping some of my tire studs and saying that’s how my car came in when it did not! I had a stripped stud on every tire! And three on one tire! Then I looked at my sheet of what they said needed to be done, telling me my rear brake pads needed to be changed because they were paper thin, and rotors needed to be changed as well which I knew, the amount they were charging for labor was ridiculous, I ended up going somewhere and getting my brakes and rotors done the next day! my brakes were no where near paper thin! Smh full brake pads, this place will literally lie to you about certain services needing done, as well as damage certain things on car and say it came in like that, just so you can get the service done, as they said about my studs needing service when I came in with one stripped stud but I left out with 5 smh
I bougt a lifetime allignment package for my car. After 2 alignments I was told that I needed all new tie rods (inner and outer -front and back), The claimed they were unable to do the alignment, unless I had $900 of repair work.
I took my car to a small, caring, transparent tire center and they made an adjustment and aligned my car. They said my tie rods did not need replacing. I will be looking for a refund for this package..

The best and smoothest service I have ever received for my car ever! I own a mini cooper so I ALWAYS run into trouble when I need anything taken care of for my car. Firestone in Edison provided be with amazing customer service and whoever took care of my car was efficient as well! After being mislead by Valvoline down the road, I am so happy with the service I received today at Firestone! And not only was the service great, it’s affordable too! Danny and Nick are so kind so shoutout to them and whoever serviced my car!
After an initial positive experience, it’s been nothing but a disaster since.... I had an oil changed done. They didn’t connect everything correctly which I found because I’ve done oil changes in my driveway for years....but whatever they forgot had my vehicle smelling like burning oil for over a week. then I returned for the free wheel alignment which I scheduled as well as some air-conditioning maintenance. I showed up early drop my vehicle off was told to expect it in an hour and a half later... I returned close to two hours later to see my vehicle in the same parking spot. They never even brought it inside or took a look at it.... so I retrieved my keys and told them I’ll never return....that they screwed up too many times...I then visited the Firestone in the next town over made an appointment and hopefully it’ll go much better this time....

Not really sure what work is done as I dropped the car and I received a call in less than 45 mins it’s completed but they didn’t even bother to check all tires have equal pressure, shows the level of commitment to work.
The lifetime alignment felt more like a scam and I am not sure these guys are even bothered to do proper service.
Overall service experience is zero. Definitely will not be visiting this Center

When my daughter’s car was broken, Edison Firestone was able to get her car running and safe in only a couple days. They were professional and helpful explaining what was wrong and they made an effort to keep us posted on progress. Highly recommend this team and will be a customer myself going forward.
I brought my car in, and during their inspection they correctly pointed out that the tie rod was broken and needed to be replaced I agreed with that. But what I don’t understand is how they went ahead and performed a wheel alignment with a known broken tie rod. That doesn’t make sense mechanically, and they still charged me for the alignment.
When I dropped off the car, I specifically asked them to provide the alignment report they never gave it to me. Later, when I called to follow up, I was put on hold and then told “everything was green” on the alignment which is hard to believe because my car still has the same issue and nothing has changed.
Feels like they just wanted to add charges without actually fixing the problem. Very disappointed and frustrated with the lack of transparency and accountability. I won’t be returning here.
Yesterday I had a tune up on my 2017 Subaru Forester. I worked with service advisor 17 Mathew. He was professional and courteous. He continuously kept me informed with the progress status. The mechanic, identified 2 additional issues which extended the time but was taken care of as fast as possible. It was an excellent experience and feel safe driving my vehicle now. I definitely recommend using this service as well as the program Firestone has on wheel alignments. Presently have 2 cars using the program. My thanks to the entire team, especially Mat.

Matt and Nick are great at providing service. They keep you up to date on what is going on with your vehicle. I would recommend this location because they care about their clients and their needs. Hard to find. Friendly and always willing to help. Also, you can visit the mall or grab something to eat while your car getting serviced. It will be done by the time you finish.
So I was pretty grateful this location was able to squeeze me in on quick notice after another location had scheduled me for work they couldn’t provide. The other location offered to give me a free oil change and they called this location to give them the credit. The people at this location absolutely refused to answer the phone for them and the other location was telling me to just go back to them the next day. I had scheduled a week in advance to have them screw me out of time. Aside from that they inspected the vehicle and stated that it needs all new brakes. Brakes that were replaced a week prior. I’m questioning the honor and integrity of these locations as I literally took it to another mechanic just for them to check and I saw with my own two eyes that there was no need for brakes to be replaced.
I recently purchased four new tires at this store and every aspect of the experience was terrific. Each staff member I spoke to was respectful and pleasant! The work was done in a very timely manner and the whole process was smooth - very grateful and will definitely use again!
