I had an emergency while traveling and the crew at the Firestone in Edison went well above what was expected to resolve it quickly and get me back on the road! Big props to Adam, Danny, Joe, Andrew and Nate for taking the time and care to find the correct part and install it. Much appreciated! We need more customer service oriented people like these guys! From the first second they answered the phone until my repairs were completed everything was awesome! Johnathan and Nate in particular went above and beyond to make sure I and my car were both ok!
I had a very excellent visit yesterday at the Firestone Edison location. Daniel at the front was very helpful and informed me of the issues I had with my tire and many other concerns with my car itself. I was in and out and taken care of in a timely manner and I very much appreciate the help and time Daniel and Mathias took to get me back on the road!
Purchased brake pads and two tires. Know there’s a rattling sound coming from tires. It sounds like you’re driving with a stack of glass plates. Previously there was no rattling at all coming from my car. Rep Spoke to my husband and tried to tell him it was everything else besides the brake or tire installation. Now my car that I never drive has all these problems that need fixing. They supposedly did some kind of investigation for $49. We pay the fee and left. On the way home I purposely hit every bump possible, no more rattling. What gives? I hope the fixed whatever is missing from the brakes. Now I’m mad that they got us for $49. We went back in for a refund and it was granted without an issue. Had it not been, I would’ve disputed it with my credit card company . If the rattling comes back, I will take the car someplace else and dispute any fees I incur from the amount I paid Firestone Edison, NJ.
Nathaniel was very helpful answering questions about services and was just all around professional when interacting with customers. He even went above and beyond helping my 8 year old son get pringles chips out of the vending machine when it jammed.
My car was serviced efficiently and timely and I would highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a smooth process having your car serviced.
My wheel alignment was as straight as an arrow when I drove to the location. As I normally do, I got an oil change along with a wheel alignment and tire rotation. As soon as I left, the car was pulling directly to the right. I went back, and the “Manager” was telling me I have low threads and it’s the cause. I told them no; the wheel alignment is off. The tech took the car back into service and “corrected” his mistake. He then proceeded to put a nail on my brand-new tire and give me an attitude, saying he now has to patch it. I never got an apology for not only messing up my wheel alignment but then putting a nail on my tire. TERRIBLE service. I’ll make sure to say that to my FedEx employees when they ask me where they should take their cars for service.
My car was in bad shape. I initially thought my coolant was low and just needed a replacement. To my surprise, the issue was worse than I anticipated. The mechanic who fixed my car earlier this year didn't do the job properly, leading to complications related to that problem.
I want to thank Nat and John, and the rest of the crew for being patient with me and helping me understand what was going on with my car. They invited me into the garage and showed me the parts that needed fixing. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, I truly appreciated their assistance. I was feeling overwhelmed, but they explained everything to me calmly and clearly.
They even offered me a couple of options on how to proceed with the repairs. Although I wasn't prepared for the amount quoted, I trust that I am receiving the best quality service. Therefore, I’ve decided to use Firestone for my car needs moving forward..
I am very dissatisfied with my recent experience at this Firestone location (Edison NJ). As a long-time Firestone customer, I expected a much higher level of service and professionalism.
When I initially brought my truck in on Saturday, December 6, the representative insisted that the coolant fluid needed to be replaced. Shortly after this service, I began experiencing multiple issues that did not exist prior to my visit, including fluctuating engine temperature, inconsistent cabin heat, and ultimately engine overheating, which raises serious concerns about potential engine damage.
These problems appear to be the direct result of improper workmanship, specifically a failure to properly service and bleed the cooling system. This situation could have been avoided had the service been performed correctly the first time.
This experience has caused unnecessary stress, safety concerns, and loss of confidence in a brand I have trusted for years. I expected better quality control, attention to detail, and accountability from Firestone.
I called in to see if they had time for a walk in for an oil change this just seemed to be that moment when my call needed everything done all at once. I spoke with Nathanial and he told me they’d be able to. From the time I got there to the time I left Nathanial was great he was very knowledgeable and persuasive in encouraging me to get a full diagnostics to really get down to the issues I was experiencing with my car. I’ve always enjoyed this location but I’d have to say this visit tops them all. Thank for for your hard work.
My experience with Donald was excellent and very informative. I’ve been using Firestone’s services for the past 22 years. What I like most is that when you purchase four tires, you receive free lifetime tire rotation service. Even more important is their lifetime wheel alignment service — I’ve been purchasing it for all my vehicles. Their standard oil change prices are also very reasonable compared to competitors.The only drawback is that the road hazard protection is quite expensive. However, the good part is that it’s optional, and if you choose it, you can get new tires at a pro-rated cost based on the condition of your old ones.
Firestone in Edison is a great store, I felt really welcomed by Danny at the front desk. He told me a time my car would be done and the technician did it at a reasonable time. I would definitely be coming back whenever I need work done on my car.
The Staff at this location provide excellent service, whether you have a scheduled appointment or if you need something urgently. they do their uttermost to accomodate you. Kudos to Matt, Nick and Donald. They gave you their best professional advice and provide the most efficient service that one can expect. This is the Best Firestone location by far.

My car was taken in for service at the appointed time, and the work was performed correctly and completely.The front desk personnel were excellent; Donald was kind enough to drive me home to pick up my cellphone charger, and drive me back to Firestone. I was updated on the time frame of the work. I am very pleased with Firestone and highly recommend this location.
Nathaniel and Daniel were very welcoming! Nathaniel helped me get my Firestone credit card and went through my car service details with me. My tire service took one hour as they said it would.
I went to this place to get an oil change and my bottom splash guard removed because it was broken up, they ended up charging me for a full inspection in which I never asked for but whatever! Ended up stripping some of my tire studs and saying that’s how my car came in when it did not! I had a stripped stud on every tire! And three on one tire! Then I looked at my sheet of what they said needed to be done, telling me my rear brake pads needed to be changed because they were paper thin, and rotors needed to be changed as well which I knew, the amount they were charging for labor was ridiculous, I ended up going somewhere and getting my brakes and rotors done the next day! my brakes were no where near paper thin! Smh full brake pads, this place will literally lie to you about certain services needing done, as well as damage certain things on car and say it came in like that, just so you can get the service done, as they said about my studs needing service when I came in with one stripped stud but I left out with 5 smh

The best and smoothest service I have ever received for my car ever! I own a mini cooper so I ALWAYS run into trouble when I need anything taken care of for my car. Firestone in Edison provided be with amazing customer service and whoever took care of my car was efficient as well! After being mislead by Valvoline down the road, I am so happy with the service I received today at Firestone! And not only was the service great, it’s affordable too! Danny and Nick are so kind so shoutout to them and whoever serviced my car!
After an initial positive experience, it’s been nothing but a disaster since.... I had an oil changed done. They didn’t connect everything correctly which I found because I’ve done oil changes in my driveway for years....but whatever they forgot had my vehicle smelling like burning oil for over a week. then I returned for the free wheel alignment which I scheduled as well as some air-conditioning maintenance. I showed up early drop my vehicle off was told to expect it in an hour and a half later... I returned close to two hours later to see my vehicle in the same parking spot. They never even brought it inside or took a look at it.... so I retrieved my keys and told them I’ll never return....that they screwed up too many times...I then visited the Firestone in the next town over made an appointment and hopefully it’ll go much better this time....

Yesterday I had a tune up on my 2017 Subaru Forester. I worked with service advisor 17 Mathew. He was professional and courteous. He continuously kept me informed with the progress status. The mechanic, identified 2 additional issues which extended the time but was taken care of as fast as possible. It was an excellent experience and feel safe driving my vehicle now. I definitely recommend using this service as well as the program Firestone has on wheel alignments. Presently have 2 cars using the program. My thanks to the entire team, especially Mat.

Eddie and his crew are the GOAT! They helped me figure out what was wrong with my car. They noticed how the last people that "fixed" my brakes screwed me over. I literally had no brakes in the back! If you see the pics, then you know! Ladies, ask to see your old brake pads after you get new ones. The last shop that worked on my car charged me for 4 new brake pads and rotors and only changed the front ones! I'll keep my business at Firestone in Edison where my boy Eddie keeps it real and makes sure your car is safe!
