The service was good. I was not told that I had to pay extra if they went over and needed a bit more oil, however the manager Manny and the sales person Kaylen were helpful. I could have honestly paid more else where so I am not mad. The people made my wait pleasant. Thank you Mr Manny and Kaylen.
Bought tires for installation. Drove 30 mins out only to be told they could not work on Teslas. They informed me they would refund the installation fee and that I would have to initiate the return on my account for the actual tires. I returned the tires on the Walmart app however I called to inform the store since they were holding the tires. Ive been on hold 3 times (10 mins each time). I'm attempt another call. Pray they actual take my call..very disappointed.
Kaykeen was fantastic with her customer service skills and professionalism. Manny is very knowledgeable and very helpful. He has great expertise in cars.
Ordered the tires online and scheduled for inatall. The check in process was a breeze and the whole tire change took a little bit over an hour.
The auto center entrance is a little hard to find. It 's all the behind the Walmart store.

I was at the Tire place in Walmart located 2220 state route 27 in Edison. Whatever could have went wrong it did. I would say if it wasnt for 2 great young ladies Kaylen and Mari. They took all my anxiety away. They helped me and my nerves. From me ordering the wrong tires to Kaylen personally helping me return the tires and purchasing the correct ones and Mari helping with great convo while we wait on installation of my tires. When leaving I thanked them soooo much. Will definitely make this my store for future tire purchases.
DONT DESERVE ANY STAR- this "star" method should be changed to accomodate some negative "sign". I brought my 2023 Nissan Rogue SL in for a routine oil change at Walmart Auto Care Center on July 11, 2025, and drove off the lot to discover that every single camera system—rear‑view, surround‑view, parking‑aid guidelines—was completely disabled. When I returned and asked the technicians to inspect the issue, they flatly refused to take any responsibility or even look under the hood, insisting that an oil change “could not” affect camera function.
Filing a claim was equally infuriating. An “independent expert” dismissed my concerns outright, declaring that there was no possible connection between an oil change and disabled electronics, and the claim handler refused to accept any outside mechanic’s report, labeling it “biased.” I’ve wasted time, will have pay out of pocket for repairs, and been left with zero accountability. I strongly warn anyone considering Walmart Auto Care—whether this store or any other location—to think twice before letting them near your vehicle’s electronics. If you’ve experienced similar failures after service, please share your story so others know how negligent Walmart can be with modern car systems.
I ordered my tires online to get installed in the stores; when I arrived, the employees told me that my tires never came and that the appointment was delayed to a later time, but it was later cancelled. No explanation, nor expected time of arrival, their only solution that they offered me was to cancel and re-order without any assurance that the tires would arrive on time. Additionally, the customer service did not know how to track my order.
I've been changing my tires in this location many years without any problems. Now they have a new guy came in my cargo van became too heavy he didn't change my tires..
First time ordering tires from Walmart online due to the reasonable prices. Although I had an issue with delayed shipment. The manager Chris accommodated my installation process. Thanks for the great customer service.
The didn’t even basic courtesy check offered in oil change and said no time. Charged 60$ for simple oil change where my Honda dealer used to all check with same price. By mistake I went here due to my travel
Horrible experience, wish I can give it 0 stars. If you need just a simple tire swap expect a 2 hour wait and your car returned with your wheel locked and check engine light on, and to top it all off the girl, Mari, at the front desks attitude. Do not understand how these employees continue to have a job after giving customers horrible experiences. Went in with a nail in my tire and walked out with wanting it in my head. Never go here!!
Tire was change to brand new but didn't balance the tire. Brand new tire wobbling in the highway. I had to rebalance in the other shop.
My Point, consider twice before install new tire make sure they balance it.
Overall, they are terrific people.
Unfortunately, all the negative reviews are true. My car was brought in today to switch out a tire that was under warranty. The appt and tire order were made in store a couple weeks ahead of time. Today, they claimed there was no appt scheduled or tire order, and when they were shown the confirmation texts, they claimed the order # was not a walmart order. The employee then aggressively tried to convince us to buy another brand's lower quality tire while making fat phobic comments to my BIL. After a 2 hour wait, they still had no idea when my car would be serviced. When asked, the auto center manager told us he was going home because he didn't want to work OT. It was 4pm. The auto center closes at 7pm. We just left to take our business elsewhere. Never coming back.
Literally standing there and not doing anything but told me to make an appointment and come back the next day. The entire day was available. Don't waste your time like they wasted mine. Walmart needs to hire new management and replace these workers that just want to stand there and get paid.

After leaving a negative review about their service, my scheduled appointment was abruptly canceled as a form of retaliation. This unprofessional behavior speaks volumes about their customer service standards.
Additionally, they seem to have questionable scheduling practices, such as booking oil change appointments for tire-related services. This creates unnecessary inconvenience and leads to significant delays for other customers. It's evident that efficiency and customer satisfaction are not priorities here.

The bad. Three hour wait after having an apt. Then on the way home tpms low air sensor comes on. So turn around to have them check. Turns out they don't recalibrate. Crazy all mechanics know to do that.
0.1% will not be taken care. Very rude. seems like they don’t want to do their job but someone is forcing them. I’m only talking about customer service. I didn’t took the service.
I called the front desk 4 times up front when I was there. The lady did not even given a shit. I walked out.
Worst automotive service experience ever! Arrived Monday @ 4:45 PM for a 5:00 PM appointment made more than 3 weeks ago. My car was not completed until 7:33PM. Mounting & balancing 4 tires should not take 2 1/2 hours! Worse yet, my car was returned to me with ALL 4 wheels deeply scratched which I didn't see in the dark until I got back home in my garage. Walmart claims they have no responsibility for damage to your vehicle.

All the people leaving 5 star reviews are fake reviews. If I could give this no stars I would. I came in with an 830am appt for tires and left at 245pm. How is this even possible?! The guys working in the bays do nothing but pretend to work and walk around. One old guy did most of the work. Some short Hispanic guy and tall Hispanic guy with a beanie didn’t do a thing. They pretended to work for 3/4 of the time I was there. Supervisors were of no help. They couldn’t even hold down the service counter. Huge lines. Can’t find ordered tires. Yelling at customers. Most people were there for over 4 hours. Do yourself a favor. Unless you need didst cheap tires, spend the extra money and get it at a reputable shop. This was my first and last time here. Got lured in with a black Friday tire deal. Ugh I hate myself.
I made an appointment online for an oil change at 5pm-6pm. I told the manager and mechanic my hood it a little broken so let me open my hood up. I opened it so they wouldn’t break it and I told them don’t put it down or it will lock. I left to go run errands. I came back at 6:20 and my car wasn’t done. I waited till 7 and it still wasn’t done so I left and didn’t get my oil change terrible service do not come here.
This is the absolute worst place to come for tire service. I bought my tires online and waited 2 weeks for the nearest appointment. I arrived on time at 5 and didn’t get checked in until 6:10. The 2 gentlemen in front of me said they were here since 1:45 and 2pm. Waiting 4 hours for 4 tire installations is unbelievable. Nobody picks up the phone and the team is severely understaffed. Please don’t waste your time like us. Order the tires on Walmart but definitely have them installed somewhere else!!!!
Horrible wait times. I had an oil changed scheduled at 3pm and the manager told me that it would take 1 - 1.5 hours. However, my car wouldn't be serviced until 6:15pm, over 3 hours after my scheduled appointment that I had made online. I further didn't get my car until 7:30pm due to an issue with their system causing them to have to redo some paperwork, wasting another 30 minutes.
In all, it took me almost 5 hours to get a simple oil change for a total of $70. Would much rather pay more money at other places to save 4 hours than to come back here again.
Excellent Customer service! My Oil change was done in less than an hour. I pulled up to Auto Center with ease. Glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews. Come on down and find out for yourself! I did my appointment through the app. I was on time. Give or take 5 minutes *wink! The mechanics were extremely professional. I observed mechanics displaying that same courteous professional mannerisms to all the customers. Front end cashier area, patient, with same professionalism.. Actually wish I had everyone’s name! I even did some shopping! What an amazing experience!..Edison Walmart you’re an excellent store. Keep up the great work.

Whomever is running this department must be absolutely incompetent and is for sure unprofessional in every sense of the term.
Went to get appointment in person, waited 30 mins in line. Earliest possible appointment was 9 days out at 5 pm. I book the appointment, even get a confirmation the day before the appointment that it’s at 5 PM. Got a call at 3 PM stating that I was “supposed to be there” but they’re calling to let me know tire center is closing at 4 PM. And when I ask to speak the manager the person that spoke to me after being on hold for 11 minutes via two different calls(because they hung up after 6 minutes the first time) the person just says “if you come here no one will be here”. Then got a text that my appointment is canceled. This place would run better if it was just shut down instead.
Worst customer service. I ordered four tires to be installed at this location and scheduled an appointment, when I got there they told me I could not be seen because they were short staffed (mind you nobody called to cancelled or rescheduled my appointment). They said I could come the next day at the same time. I decided to call ahead of time and they told me they were not going to be able to do it until 3 weeks out. When I asked if I could just pick up my tires instead, they told me they would only be opened until 4 (normally they are opened until 7 everyday) and that they wouldn’t be opened in the weekend. I will be canceling my order at this point.
I got a great deal for my tires pre Black Friday, and scheduled an installation. My car was checked in at 3:00, and finished around 5:15. If you have the Walmart app, you can track the service. Be realistic, this will take some time. I did some shopping as I waited.
They need to be more organized here. The guy at desk- Mukesh was pleasant, but overwhelmed. Once you check-in, he then goes to search for your tires. Imagine all the tires delivered to the store, stored in trailers outside. The associates in the department were helpful as I checked out. ** I had tried calling store for days. Nobody picked up. This is not acceptable. Fix this problem.
Avoid this place. This place is nightmare. Rude, unprofessional, helpless. Extremely! Extremely! Extremely! Slow! I came on the morning 7:30. They told me first come first serve. I was the second on line and I waited 4 hours to get my new tires installed! They left my old tires uninstalled and left it for more than 1 hour and no body came to install the new ones! Really? If you value your time and money, avoid this place!
