I brought my 2008 Kenworth T660 with a C15 ACERT engine into Gabrielli Kenworth in Dayton to have a driveline and transmission issue inspected. Instead of addressing the actual problem I brought the truck in for, the service team tried to shift the focus to unrelated issues—none of which had anything to do with why the truck was there.
They brought up other “concerns” and tried to use the mileage on my truck as an excuse not to properly assess or fix the real issue. That kind of deflection is unacceptable, especially when you're running a commercial vehicle that needs reliable diagnostics and repairs—not distractions and excuses.
The bottom line: they didn’t even try to resolve the problem. They just looked for a way out. If you’re a serious trucker looking for real service, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.
Took 4 days to service my truck and I originally brought truck in because I had a flat tire and was due for service so figured get everything done at once. We'll 4 days 3,400 dollars later my truck receives 70,000 mile service but tire they charged 115.00 to repair was still flat and was told at that point a rear tire being plugged is only a temporary repair but mine wasn't even plugged the nail didn't go through the tire it was just in tread and all they could figure is valve stem must have dirt inside making it leak and after all it is just a temporary repair but they would be happy to put some air in it so I could leave. I took it to Poomps tire and they found a nail and plugged it no problems since.
My truck lost a radiator on Friday they got me and my trailer in without hesitation. Truck was done Monday evening with little to no downtime. Staff was supper friendly and kept me informed the entire time. One of the easiest repair shops I have ever dealt with.
Two stars because of the following:
1. hard to get estimate time when they will start to work with the truck, they don't answer emails with questions
2. the don't accept debit and credit cards due to their "company policy", when we sign out the check for them, they also refused to take it.... so we have to drive to the bank and ask them to issue a bank check. That redicilous! We came from different state and had to spent a lot of time trying just to pay for service!!!!
Never seen customers are treating like that in other shops!

The receiving of a new truck should be an exciting moment for all, but unfortunately due to international problems it wasn’t. Feel sorry for the employees that have to tip toe around this person of charge. The few others I briefly encountered seemed pleasant and helpful.
If a customer tries to prove that he is right then they don't like it , they get angry too, raise their voices as well , very very expensive and very very delayed service regardless you bought truck from them . Their massive delay hurts me financially so I will say good bye , nice place but they need a nice honest friendly staff
This is MY experience with the service dept at Gabrielli Kenworth Dayton, NJ. It is difficult to understand the amount of unprofessionalism and callousness I experienced at this location.
I called in the middle of December 2022 (17th) to inquire about bringing my truck in for a service repair. I was told to bring it in and it would be about 2 weeks before it could get in the shop for repair. I called to follow-up at the beginning of January and was told I was "on the list" and should follow-up in a few days. I called at least 5 more times as it was now at the END OF JANUARY, more than 6 weeks of waiting while my truck just sat in their parking lot. I never once received a call from them on an update. Not once.
I don't live far so after being extremely patient I decided to stop in to find out what was going on. I sat in an office and spoke to a young lady who could not explain why it was now 6 weeks later and could not offer me anything other than "you're on the list." A manager happened to walk in the office so she turned around to ask him about my truck. Without even the decency to look at me he said, "no time soon" and just walked off. It was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to a customer. He could have had the minimal amount of decency to look my way since at that point I'd already waited for 6 weeks.
At the 8 week mark I went in to get my truck to take it to another location. The lady (I think Deanna) told me "please don't take your truck, I spoke to the manager and he said you will definitely be in the shop next week" so reluctantly I agreed. As unbelievable as it sounds I called the next week because of course they never call and was told, "we have no idea when your truck will get in the shop" and I should continue to just keep calling back.
It was at that point that I had enough, it had been 2 months (I was promised 2 weeks) and my truck had only been moved around their parking lot. I went to get my truck. The lady at the front desk went to speak with a manager. Again, he didn't even have the decency to come out and speak to me. At minimum to acknowledge the fact that it cost me 2 months of my time and NOTHING had been done. They didn't call to update me even ONCE. He just told her, "give him his keys."
I took my truck to a different location and within 3 days, the repair was diagnosed, warranty approved and repair had begun.
The service dept at Gabrielli in Dayton scrapes the bottom of the birdcage in my opinion when it comes to treating their customers with even a modicum of respect. I was lied to, treated with zero respect and I believe they had no intention of repairing my truck. Why they did this, I have no clue but they earned this review.
Enough parking for a semi (I think they should, cause they sell trucks and truck parts) and easy access. Many parts aren't available due to nationwide shortages and backup orders. New and used trucks for sale.
Extremely nice shop employees other than ignorant service manager Danny. He assumed I done something wrong and yelled at me twice for no reason. I kept my cool always because I understand the level of intelligence is vary by person to person.
Phil and Danny one in a Million 1,000 Stars 2x they helped me out door wouldn’t close dropped what they were doing fixed couple hours, last week truck died on Turnpike 2x died in their driveway got truck in same day fixed loose connection truck new 4 months old ? Definitely they good, they took more time than we thought but their staff was very friendly and helpful. Angie and Torin helped us with everything. We still have a light on but we got 15 vacay days on NY and nice people taking care of our truck ? ?? Thanks for your help ? ?
Service department helped me with my Freightliner to get my truck back on the road with a universal part. Even though the Local Freightliner dealer couldn't help me, they were able to cross match the faulty air control valve and I was back on the road in two hours.
Appreciate the help.
Contacted 3 times daily for updates on services and completion. Not a single answer was received, but I did get a call saying "your truck is ready and you can pick it up until 8PM" as I'm about 2 DOT clocks away from retrieval.
I've never had a good experience in this facility with either Parts or Service departments.
Came for a simple hose that should be in stock only to be told 7-10 day wait. I took off the bad hose from my truck and had one made in a hydraulic shop for 1/3 the price in under 5 minutes. You asked...
Called to bring my truck in for an electrical issue. The woman on the phone said they would need it for two weeks before even looking at it. Her exact reason was it would need a lot of time and materials. I have been trucking for 15 years and this is a new excuse I will say that.

If I could I’ll give minus 10, my KW had the broken fuel pump bolts so they said that I have to change the engine or cylinder block and gave me estimates for $ 40,000!!!! so now I removed the remaining bolts and put in a new pump, $ 500. I will not advise this place to repair your truck, they will deceive you and make you pay for unnecessary repairs.
The only they are good at , is to charge !! I paid $347 for the 15 min diagnostic.
Only came in for PM service,staff is very Friendly and courteous,well received at the service desk(by a beautiful young female)
Service took 3 hours waiting time due to an air leak i had over the transmission,back to the review,the place have very clean restrooms and everything is so neat,don't leave without walking by parts cause is also a nice area,hotels very close by in case you need to stick around for a mayor repair.Added some pictures so you can see the waiting room(lacks from a microwave)
Friendly sales staff in parts, immediately helped me and offered insight. I am planning my next purchase now. Their accessories and tools are not limited to heavy duty trucks.

Had issue with the A/C called these guys and the girl who answered said come over might be able to get you in today, pulled in the lot as i parked noticed drips of Anti Freeze on pavement, opened the hood to tighten a clamp when one of the employees comes to me in a very rude tone said "what are you doing on my property we dont allow repairs on the lot"
I guess tightening a loose hose clamp is working on a vehicle.

Needless to say i took the the truck and my business down the road at a small family business (4 miles down Rt 130S) where they were friendly and treated me like a human.
Will never go to this dealer for service or sales.
They are high quality and very professional. The big assortment and you have choice at the price list between different manufacturers. Also this center so clear and brightest. I had waiting just couple of minutes and bought king-pin on Kenworth 2006.
Went in to have a MIL checked out. Checked in with Noel and explained that the MIL was my top priority and with time permitting change my def filter but I had to be out by 6:00 pm. Log book issue. They fixed my problem and also my def filter. I was out by 6:00 pm.
Thanks guys for the hustle and quality work on getting me back on the road.
Called to check on the availability of a part I was searching for and was told by another Kenworth dealership they had in stock.. The woman who answered wouldn't stop laughing while I was on the phone with her, refused to provide a price for the part, refused to give me her name when I asked for it. Then I was transferred to the back, where I was told "The part might be back there but there's about 300 boxes to go through. ill call you in a few days if we find it...."

I have 97 Kenworth and I was looking for a wiper motor. I was traveling on Route 1 North and decided to go a little out of my way instead of calling them. I have bought a windshield wiper arm from them before and figured since I'm in the neighborhood...They actually did have one and it was quite pricey in the range of $300.
So I asked if I can get the part number and he said "why do I want the part number?" Which is actually a silly question because he knew the answer.
I said it's an older Kenworth and I'm looking to save a little money as an owner operator.
He said "we cannot give out part numbers."
Out of all the Kenworth I've been in the Northeast he is the first to say that.
He was almost insulted I wanted to shop around somewhere else.
So I had to call my local Kenworth and ask for the part number.
I ended up getting the wiper motor for $85 at Cook Brothers.
Thanks for nothing Gabrielli Kenworth.
Stood waiting for 30 mins in party. Had to wait for them to get computer booted up so said I'll go to service department while waiting. Stood in service department for 15 mins. Waiting. Never able to talk to anyone. Go back to parts department and the guy I was waiting for to boot up computer was gone. Total of 1 hr of my time totally wasted. Never go back!!!!
Came in for a fifth wheel release air cylinder they did the best they could to Salvage the old one before moving to new to try and save me money, the new one they had was unfortunately the wrong piece but with 15 mins before closing they sent out someone to get the correct part from freightliner that happened to have it and stayed open late so i can get my truck back same day. John service rep was really helpful.
