Great customer service. I popped a tire on a Sunday and I need my car for work. I called probably 5+ auto stores before I called Pep boys (due to distance). I had given up hope of finding a tire at this point. I called and asked if they had my tire, which other stores were telling me was a special order. Not only did Andre find the tire was in stock according to inventory, but he went one step further and physically checked to see if there was a tire before I drove over. Everyone inside was friendly and kind despite me being flustered. Thank you guys so much.

I had my windshield replaced by a DIFFERENT company (an auto glass replacement company) on Thursday, 2/19, and didn’t realize they didn’t hook back up the windshield fluid hose until Saturday night right before snowstorm Hernando. I was concerned with the impending storm, I could have visibility issues. I stopped by Pep Boys on Sunday, 2/22. They were super busy but the manager fit me in and connected my hose within an hour and without charge. I was thrilled! On Thursday, 2/26, I got a flat. AAA came to put on my small spare and I immediately thought to bring my car to get my tire repaired to Pep Boys. The manager remembered me and Pep Boys took care of my repair promptly and with a smile. I totally recommend them for any of your auto repair needs.

Walked in with an issue with my car today - they were quick, helpful, and great communicators. Had my car back within a couple of hours and they kept me updated throughout the process. Would recommend.

Got a synthetic oil change at this location. Once my vehicle made it into a bay, service was prompt and straightforward. Moe came out and explained what he did for the service, including some things I should look out for in the future with my specific vehicle. Would recommend this location for future services.

Wow I cannot recommend PepBoys of Princeton enough! I had a minor car emergency and immediately drove there where Raj, Hermat, and team was able to take care of the problem immediately and ensure me I am safe to drive. Fast and reasonably priced!

I just want to give this PepBoys location a genuine shout out, as I am wholeheartedly appreciative of their assistance! I literally walked in, after being referred to this location, and they did not disappoint. They fixed the issue with my car within an hour, and to add they had astounding customer service. Super happy with the service here. They were upfront about the problem (which was my tire and tire sensor) gave me options, and didn’t pressure me into paying for anything that i didn’t want to pay for. You can tell they actually care about their customers. The vibe inside is also very calm and clean too. So If you’re looking for a reliable mechanic, this is the place for the best help.

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the service I received at my neighborhood Pep Boys. I first visited them back in October and was satisfied, so like most people do when they receive good service I returned today after experiencing an issue underneath my car following the most recent snowstorm. The team was able to quickly assess the problem, provide a temporary fix, and educate me on ways to prevent the issue from worsening during harsh weather conditions and seasonal changes. I’m relieved that this situation didn’t break the bank, and even more relieved that both Hemant and Andre treated me with honesty and respect. As a woman, walking into auto service establishments can sometimes be intimidating due to fears of being overcharged or taken advantage of but that was absolutely not the case here. Thank you, guys but most importantly, thank you, Pep Boys.

I have been using this location for years. The customer service is great and the prices are affordable. The coupons come in handy too! Most times, I walk in without an appointment and can still get my car serviced within a reasonable amount of time.

Alternator died in my 2013 TDI. Needed a replacement. Raj and the team are very friendly, and the service was done in one day. Price was very fair, lower than another quote I got for the work. Thanks guys

Raj the store manager was super friendly and helpful. Helped us get a tire replaced within half an hour of it going flat. Put the donut back and even cleaned the rim. 10/10 would recommend coming to see Raj at Pep Boys

I came in with a deflated tire and a carload of children and Andre and Moe could not have been more helpful and gracious. They offered quick and honest service and made us feel welcomed while we waited for them to put on the spare. When I came in for the new tire we ordered to be installed, Roj and Chris gave the same attentive, proactive service. Roj's attention to our service highlighted this location's commitment to the customer's experience, which was excellent. Highly recommended!

I would avoid this location! I was up charged for the part that needed to be replaced. A quick Google search showed the item was almost half of what this location charged me. Along with the being charged a vague "Misc Shop equipment", line item of $30. Was charged for the $99 diagnosis when it was clearly a starter issue. You're potentially looking at $130 to START if you bring your vehicle for any repair issue(s).

Service was fast and friendly, price was reasonable, and I appreciated not being upsold on a thousand unnecessary services. I was in and out in about a hour and a half and there was communication throughout the time I was waiting. Chris at the service desk and my technician Raymond were both wonderful! It can be nerve wracking to get service done alone as a woman but I didn't feel uncomfortable or talked down to at all which was so appreciated and valued. I will definitely be returning the next time I have a problem or need maintenance.

We love this place! We were travelling from Australia and got a flat which is stressful, so having great service overseas in the US made a big improvement to our mood. The guys in PEP know how to take care of their customers, thankful for the great experience with Raj and Andre 😀.

I visited Pep Boys Princeton to have 4 tires installed and an alignment performed. I selected this store due to a previous positive tire shopping experience and the good sale they were having. I knew I would get good tires out of my visit, but the professionalism, helpfulness, and pleasant customer service I experienced took my visit to a whole new level. Shout outs to the gentleman who assisted me, Mr. Andre, and Store Manager, Mr. Raj. You don't expect to leave an auto shop saying, "You made my day," but Andre and Raj did just that. Thank you for proving that great customer care still exists. Keep up the good work and blessed holidays!

Despite the price, the customer service and turnaround time was excellent. I will definitely be coming back to get any service done at this location. Shout out to Raj for taking the time to make sure everything was squared away before working on the car.

I would like to let you know that the staff at the West Windsor location is awesome the staff, are professional and respectful. I have never had any problems with these gentlemen. I was in the shop this past weekend, from the mechanic to the front staff they are very upfront with you and treat you with the upmost respect. I would like to say thank you to Mr.Rah and Mr.Chris. Yesterday I was in the shop and was very stressed out because of a tire blowout. These gentlemen were so nice made me feel comfortable and relieve my anxiety. I appreciate you guys so much. I’ve been going to this Pep Boys for years and all the staff there are excellent.

Have visited this location several times and with multiple vehicles for routine services and thorough diagnostics for check engine light issues on 1 of the 3 vehicles that I have brought here. Service and staff working there is always top notch and a pleasure to deal with especially Raj and his team whom are always willing to go above and beyond to provide great customer service. My first time dealing with Raj and his team was on 1 of my work vehicles, I had initially went to the dealership for alignment, and after 3 visits they still couldn’t get the alignment right, to the point that my steering wheel was shaking every time I would be driving above 25mph. Took it to Pep Boys in Lawrenceville, upon scheduling an appointment for the alignment on its 4th attempt but 1st time at Pep Boys. After Raj and his team took their turn on the alignment, after about 45mins, they were able to find that my steering was shaking due to one of the front wheels having a bent rim, which the gmc dealer couldn’t identify after 3 attempts. After they exchanged the wheel with the bent rim and replaced it with the spare wheel rim to prove their point, I drove The vehicle afterwards, and did not experience any shaking on the steering wheel, nor having to correct the vehicle staying straight on the road. That was just one of the instances and first experience of dealing with pep boys and Lawrenceville. Since than I have taken my 2nd work vehicle and personal vehicle here (3 vehicles total) for routine services and also check engine light issues that Raj and his team have been able to handle with the utmost urgency and professionalism that I have ever experienced at any mechanic shop. Raj is always upfront and professional when it comes to their findings and recommendations, they do not try to upsell you on unnecessary repairs, however they do make recommendations and let you know what may be the future problems if the recommended repairs are not performed in a timely manner, and allow you to make decisions based on reasonable circumstances. Which is why I would recommend them to anyone I know for their dedication to overall customer service and experience.

What a great experience. I went in on a Tuesday evening to get a noise looked at on my car, and was helped by Chris. One of his coworkers came out to the parking lot and saw that my rear tire was starting to delaminate, so he suggested getting 4 new tires. We made an appointment for the following day, where I was helped by Raj, who made the experience painless and my car was returned to me in a couple hours. Great experience, fast service, and it didn’t hurt my wallet as much as I expected it to. Strongly recommend this Pep Boys, ask for Raj!

I went to the service facility in West Windsor and the manager Raj was more than happy to take care of my service issues even though I didn’t have an opponent. Raj had my vehicle brought into the garage and him and his team quickly informed me of the items necessary to get my vehicle back on the road. Raj took the time to explain to me the difference and importance of the tires I needed for my car and informed me of the benefits of the different types and styles of tires for my 2020 Nissan Rogue sport. The team worked meticulously to get new tires on my vehicle and did a full car inspection to insure that my vehicle was safe and secure for the road. I appreciate the professionalism and great customer service I received from the PepBoys team of experts. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great customer experience. Keep up the great work and I look forward to bringing my vehicle there for all my automotive needs.

I've been here a couple times now and Raj is the man. He always gives me his honest recommendations, and made sure my car is taken care of quickly and thoroughly. The entire team was great and the service was completed exactly as promised. Now I find it hard to trust a place with any of my cars but I finally did. If you’re looking for a good service team you can trust, I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Raj, he’ll make sure you’re well taken of!

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my recent experience at this Pep Boys location was so unprofessional that I feel other customers should be aware. When I visited, I informed the service manager, Raj Ramcharan about a loud, unavoidable noise my car was making. They checked it out and informed that it may be my wheel bearing. Because the noise was so loud and impossible to ignore, my car was test driven by two employees including Raj who both confirmed they heard the sound. I was told the issue was my wheel bearing, that it was old, and that it was the cause of the noise. I paid over $600 for this repair on a Pep Boys card. Later, after getting a second opinion, I learned the noise had nothing to do with the wheel bearing at all and that it was my broken rear speaker. I was refunded. I had to go back for them to fix the speaker and during this time Raj and I who were pretty cool texted and this is when he asked if I was open to dating him. I declined because the comment was inappropriate and made me uncomfortable. Up until that point, Raj had always been professional with me, but after I denied those advances from his employee, the way my car issues were handled changed noticeably. I reported the misdiagnosis to Raj, the regional manager, but I did not even bring up the inappropriate dating question at that time. Weeks later, when I came back for an oil change, I was suddenly denied service with no explanation. No one called me, no one followed up, and my concerns were ignored. I believe Raj is silencing my complaint and not escalating this issue at all. I specifically requested that a Pep Boys corporate representative contact me so I could file a formal internal complaint. Not only was I never provided a formal way to submit one, but I felt silenced. I have still not received any follow up. In my experience, Raj’s handling of the situation played a major role in preventing my complaint from being addressed. He does not even know about what Raj, the service manager did and is under the impression that this is all about my wheel bearing and speaker. From the inappropriate behavior, to the expensive misdiagnosis, to the lack of transparency and the refusal to allow me to properly report the issue, this entire situation was incredibly disappointing. I expected professionalism, accountability, and basic respect. Instead, I received the exact opposite and this is not how you treat people. I am trying to get in contact with Corporate, but I was not successful because Raj is refusing to escalate my complaint and I don't know why. I called the location to speak to Raj the regional manager and they kept screening my call. Raj Ramcharan (service manager) made my experience hell and gaslit me the entire time and made it seem like he was an innocent bystander to my frustrations which were all because of what he did throughout the issue with my car. He isolated me using his co-workers as flying monkeys to deny my service questions when my car was literally being serviced there. I also have been going to pep boys at this location for several years.

What a Sunday. My morning started off happy as I got ready to head to NYC to hang out with friends and family. While driving, I noticed my tire didn’t feel the safest, so I stopped at my local Wawa to add some air only to realize as soon as the air went in, it came right back out. I headed across the street, not in a panic but a little nervous, since I was the only woman in a place often known for taking advantage of those with limited car knowledge. But the store manager, Raj R., completely changed my mind today. He offered me several solutions, took the time to explain the issue, and even checked all of my other tires to make sure I wouldn’t have more trouble on the road. I ended up needing a completely new tire, but I didn’t mind paying the fee because at least he genuinely cared. I’m just glad to see quality service making a comeback and knowledgeable, honest parts managers like Raj still out here doing their thing. Tomorrow I’ll head to American Tire to see if my warranty covers the damage, but if not, I’m officially done with them. From now on, this is my go-to spot for any car concerns.

I was shocked at how long an oil change took - almost 4 hours. When I expressed my concern, Hemant at the front desk laughed, which felt completely unprofessional. As a long-time customer who’s spent thousands here, I expected much better service and respect.

Fixed a tire within a hour of getting a hole in it. Very professional, nice and helpful staff who are willing to work fast, hard and do it right. While we left the desk clerk walked out to give advice to another customer not deciding for them but with them. GREAT SERVICE!

They could not find an issue with my front drivers side tire. Despite my informing them that the air does not stay in the tire. The service person insisted twice, that I bring the car home and if the tire goes flat again bring it back. I explained I had to have my car towed to this facility. That the tow company had to fill the tire up with air prior to towing. That the air will not stay in. Even previously after filling tire up with air at home the air comes out. That there is something wrong with the tire. If they could please find the problem rather than sending me off. The tire issue was one of the main reason I had the car towed to pep boys. We spoke with the manager ( Mr. Raj Ramcharan) about our concerns. We had been there since 8am, and were told that the service repair should only take 1 hour. At that point it was approximately already after 12pm. His response was very rude and unprofessional. Expressed in his tone of voice, eyes ( cold & angry) and behavior. We were appalled at the way he had spoken to me. After expressing our concerns, I stated to him that we were not angry at him and suggested that he not take this personal.. That he was taking our concerns personal. He had no response to that comment. And mentioned something about the way the tire issue was interpreted…Well do you want me to go see what the problem is with your car”? He impatiently stated. In a tone as if he was tired of listening. I explained “yes”. After even more time passes, the manager informed us that there is a leak between my hub cap ( bead) and the tire. And that a hub cap had to be located to fix the issue. The work could not be done that day. We eventually decided to take the chance ( air was escaping quickly), drive the Vechicle home and seek service else where. I have been bringing my vehicle to pep boys for several years. This is the first time I have ever experienced poor unprofessional service! The manager, staff and technician all assumed the tire was punctured. Since they didn’t visually see a nail, screw or other object embedded into the tire they initially neglected to make an extra effort to find the cause.

This pep boys is conveniently located on route 1 right next to an Advanced auto parts and Wawa is across the street. I had a tire service done and they did run longer than they were supposed to but overall I was satisfied with my service. Prices are pretty close to what other locations offer. you can book appointments online and there is a bathroom located on site as well as the seating area and TV for entertainment.
