If you’re thinking about buying a vehicle from Empire Nissan in Hillside NJ, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional dealership experiences I’ve ever had. I purchased a vehicle from them about a month ago, and since then it has been nothing but problems and excuses. Communication from this dealership is terrible. Emails asking for updates go unanswered, and getting a straight answer from anyone there seems impossible. My temporary tag has now expired, and instead of taking responsibility and fixing the situation, I was told they can’t issue another temporary tag because my license is out of state. That excuse makes absolutely no sense and leaves me stuck with a vehicle I cannot legally drive. To make matters worse, I work long hours, and dealing with this constant lack of communication and follow-through has been a huge inconvenience to my time. As a veteran, it’s honestly disappointing to see a business operate this way and treat customers with such little respect or urgency. When you buy a vehicle, you expect the dealership to handle the paperwork and registration properly. Instead, I’ve been left chasing answers and dealing with problems that should have been handled weeks ago. If this is the level of service Empire Nissan provides after they already have your money, I can only imagine how they treat people before the sale is finalized. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to think twice before doing business here.

Honestly I told myself several times if I could afford to buy the car out front then I didn’t need a payment but something happened today, I got a call from Zore Lebarty stating that she could help me out with my dilemma and just to give her a chance. And that I did, I gave her chance and she wowed me with her kindness, personality and love for her business. Ron was the best he really worked with me to get a vehicle and when I was having difficulty trying to find a decent insurance company he was able to help me. He did not give up on me and I really appreciate him. His customer service is the best. I would definitely refer people to him.

The dealer my husband visited last Friday, 1/09/25, to purchase a truck for work claimed to be certified. We drove it home, but it was making very bad noises. We parked it, and on Saturday, they asked us to bring it back. They then gave us the runaround, claiming he needed to take it to Chevy because they didn't hear anything wrong. Ultimately, they had their team check the truck, and after five hours, they confirmed the noise. They assured us the truck would be ready by Tuesday, but nothing was communicated to us by then. They kept saying they would get back to us. My husband hadn't even driven the truck, yet he lost two major jobs. He asked to cancel the purchase, but they told him he couldn’t. This experience was unbelievable and unacceptable. I give them a 0-star rating.

An excellent Dealership All the consultant are very professional and they are very patient and helpful. Especially Jonathan Marte the sales consultant and Harold Pierre the manager, They're amazing!. We came on their dealership with multiple cars in mind to look at and without hesitation they helped us looked into it. Until we find our forever car. They're so accommodating that they even gave us great numbers that helped us a lot. The processing is so quick too. Also before leaving they even surprised us with a brand new 55 inch TV as a gift which is going above and beyond. We definitely recommend this dealership.

I made an appointment with the sales team. When I arrived I was courteously greeted by a wonderful salesman, Ron, who sat me down, asked which vehicle I was there for and went to work finding it, grabbing the keys and bringing the car to the front for me to see. No pressure from Ron to buy. He gave me time and space to explore the car and expressly answered all of my questions. Once I decided that I wanted the car he went to work again. This time trying to get me the price I desired. And got it for me. The finance guy, Kyle, was also friendly and explained all of the paperwork for financing the car. He told me to take my time and read it over for myself. No rush. No worries. The entire process took just about an hour or so. I was very happy with them.
