Friendly and helpful crew! They tolerate my lack of knowledge well, and help me know about the product I’m buying during those new-for-me projects. Far better than a big box option. Nice home town feel.
These people are the best. I have no idea what I'm doing on some of these basic projects, but they make sure I get what I need and don't talk down to me in any shape or form and guess what, I get it done! Thanks Califon Lumber!!
Helpful staff and a good selection of products at reasonable, competitive prices. If they do not have what you need on-hand they can most likely order it and get it to you within a week. They are good at referring to other local businesses if they do not carry what you are looking for.
Great place locally They have good supply. Always nice and willing to help! Most lumber yards don’t really care about customer service. These people really do! A rare find ! Highly recommend!
Nice local hardware/lumber yard. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They offer a good assortment of most core products for plumbing, electrical, gas, etc including mixed paint etc. They carry good brands of tools as well.
They were great, carry many things and cuts of wood that Home Depot doesn't. Was able to repair my fence after a big storm with materials I bought here because Home Depot didn't carry it. I won't be going back to Home Depot.
2015 best hardware store/lumber yard I've seen in a long time. friendly staff, I'll drive out of my way for great customer service!
2019 Same is true over 4 years. Best customer service on the planet, they helped me for 10 minutes picking out $3 worth of nuts and washers. THE BEST!!!!
Califon Lumber is a great place to go for building materials and supplies from large to small projects. The sales associates are warm and friendly and knowledgeable. They often extend their services beyond my expectations. I will never go back to Lowes or Home Depot.
