Very disappointed. Extremely overpriced. The owner Jaime tried to confuse us, told us one price and then when we agreed, he said that he referred to only one part.
We had an issue with the Fender. Before this body shop we went to The Jersey City Auto Body Inc on Mercy Ave, they offered to do the job for more or less $1,800 for the “Fender, Front Door, Front Bumper & Grill, and Front Lamps (original parts with the proof). Everything for $1800.
We did not have the paperwork with us when we went to ARPI Jr., we told the owner Jaime that the Jersey City Body Shop Inc would do it for $1800, so he said that he could do it for $1,600. When we finally agreed and paid the deposit, he CHANGED his story and said that he referred to change only a Fender for $1600! Omg!
So, my advice, don’t rush, before you pay the deposit, go to other places and do your research. Here, they are all overpriced. BTW, my dad’s body shop in Brooklyn offered to fix it for $500. But as you know we have already paid the deposit. They mislead you and confuse you and do not keep their word. I don’t recommend this place.
You have to be careful you send them to do one job and they end up working on thing you didn't sent your car to get repaired and it comes out more expensive when you didn't plan on no extra repairs and they act as if you agreed on it too
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE NOR BUY YOU WILL REGRET IT. 9k car w issues since day 1 lasted 1 yr i have no car my 15 ford escape that he sold me was a lemon. Another mechanic said when this car got the rebuilt motor he most likely didn’t put it properly and damaged transmission I thought I could trust the mechanic. I needed a car so he offered me one that I couldn’t afford for like 2 months he kept inisisting ok I guess I said let me trust him as he a mechanic stupid me I checked the car everything seemed ok but I did tell him a couple of things wrong so he said when u pick up everything would be fixed I went was there for like 3 hrs because the air conditioner wasn’t working it was leaking he said it would go away same w the transmission he said no those cars have turbo is how they run I’m not a mechanic I’m a woman and I guess he played me out I then told him the navigation wasn’t working on my way home w vehicle he said bring it back in a few days I went back he was gone to his country now his cousins and nephews said we can’t do anything until we get authorization really so he would be back in a few days 4 months passed by I kept calling everyday and sent videos of car leak car not running he said warranty is 3 months now transmission gone he said he replaced motor not transmission is this fair I paid 9k for a car to last me 4 months wth I took it back he charged me 200 to fix the leak 2 days later again the leak seriously I was very upset and told him he sold me lemon he said I gave warranty on motor as it was rebuilt but I had asked him he kept saying we fix it I told him I don’t want car couple days after he said no worries bring I fix it and then his family never picked up my calls I went to shop several times they said we can’t do anything until he comes back he supposedly fixed my sons Honda now it’s not working either DO NOT USE THIS shop all they do is take your money act very nice people until they have the money and then dissapear. Please report any issues with this shop so they stop bs people I got a Ford escape eco sport he said this car w new motor will last few yrs it was only 4 months look at pictures and that is normal ?
Jaime and his team are amazing. They repaired my car which involved painting and bumper replacement within 48 hours. He provided me constant updates and great customer service. Highly recommended.
I took my vehicle to fix a dent that I had at the door and when I went to pick it up that was supposedly fixed, it still had broken parts. I do not recommend this at all.
Absolutely 5+ this guy knows about painting I took my jeep to this place for body repair and apaint , it looks great this guy are professional in the job and human relations
Horrible work. When I brought my car here to get fixed I got a reasonable price. Showed up when they told me the car was ready and I drove off. They didn't finish installing the bumper and hood properly so I'm driving down the road and next thing I know my bumper is dragging on the ground. Plus they never replaced a part that needed to be fixed that I paid for. 2 stars because they are friendly but I'd never bring my car here again.
This is my spot to bring my car to be fixed. Both Jaime and James are great people. The make the experience as easy as it can be. Those reading this comment at the moment, come to this location if you ever need to get your car fix due to a car accident, hit and run, or anything else that might happen to the car that cause the damages.
I can’t tell you how much I loved this auto body!!! Someone hit my car from the side and Honda recommended Jr arpi bc they were a few blocks away and my car was barely drivable. NOT ONLY did they make my car BRAND NEW AGAIN, they detailed it, AND got me a NEW KEY bc mine was falling apart!! They bought it themselves. As a single mom who was saving up to get a new key I can’t even begin to express how grateful I was. It was an emotional moment. It’s a family owned business and they actually care about their customers. They just won my heart and any and all repairs I will DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK TO THEM and Them ALONE! They just won a customer for life. Honest, dedicated, hard working and fast turn around. Very grateful so I thought I’d write a review. Never have I had the type of service they provided. They went above and beyond for me! If you’re looking for repairs you should definitely go here! If I could give 10 stars I would. Phenomenal service!

Don’t take your car there at all they are thief trust me !!! They are asking a lot of money. I took my car there because I had a scratch on my two doors and I ask them "how much to paint my two doors" and this what they said "we will fix it for you for $5000 dollars and tell your insurance to pay for it" but I told them no because my bill will go up if they pay for it and I don’t have full coverage. I told them that I’m going to pay for it but they said that "we are not letting you pay for the little damage because your insurance company have to pay for your scratch". So I was like "You know what I’m out of here because you guys are too expensive and asking for more money". So I went somewhere else and they charged me only $350 for my two doors and look nice. I don’t recommend you guys to come here because they will ask you a lot money and they don’t want you to pay for it!!! They only want money from insurance companies!!!!!! Trust me what I’m telling you!!!
A mi Grand Cherokee me la choco un vecino con su camioneta las dos puertas. Pase para que me dieran un estimado y me atendió su dueño , muy amable , me mostró las instalaciones de su negocio y algunos trabajos que estaban haciendo , lo que me prometió fue lo que me entrego. Mi SUV quedó como nueva , un trabajo profesional excepcional, los trabajadores muy amables , siempre respondiendo a mis dudas y ayudándome con la renta del carro de reemplazo. Si me llegara a pasar algo denuevo ( ojalá que no ) no durarè en llevar vehículo a este Autobody , muy confiables y profesionales!
