After recently relocating from Brooklyn to West New York, I needed brake work done on my Honda (both front and rear). I decided to try Omar Auto Clinic, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked into the office, I was impressed. The facility was spotless, and I noticed Omar’s marathon medals and family photos displayed throughout - clear signs that this is someone who takes pride in both his personal achievements and his business. Omar greeted me personally and efficiently explained the process. He needed to remove the wheels first to assess what required repair and offered to keep my car that same day. I dropped it off at 3:18 PM (they close at 5 PM), and by 4 PM, I had received photos of my brakes along with a detailed estimate. Once I approved the work, they got started immediately. The next morning at 10 AM, my car was ready - I was absolutely amazed by the turnaround time! This is hands-down the best automotive service I’ve experienced in New York. The combination of professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care for the work makes Omar Auto Clinic a place I’ll definitely return to and recommend without hesitation.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Highly recommend Omar's shop! From the beginning he was honest, transparent, and took the time to walk me through the repairs so I knew exactly what I was paying for. Thirty plus years of experiece and knowledge as a mechanic. The pricing was fair with no surprises, or upselling. Shop is clean and organized. Fantastic experience. I arrived at 8:30am asking for an oil change and for them to look into a noise that I thought might be the rear wheel bearings in my vehicle. The first thing I notice is a clean and meticulously organized garage. A technician immediately went on a ride with me to hear the noise for himself and agreed that was the likely cause. Communication was impeccable. The process was explained clearly and followed exactly. I was sent photos and a full estimate before any work was done and progress updates as the job was completed. I had my car back by 1pm. No surprise charges or attempts to upsell. This is the place you're looking for.

If you live by Hudson county, I recommend servicing your car with Omar. He’s a very genuine, knowledgeable, and down to earth guy. His team and shop great service.

2nd time I’ve been to Omar. I find him very trustworthy and an interesting person. Always pleasant. In my opinion does not even try to get away with an over charge or unnecessary work. He won me over first time I was there and I was admittedly rude. He remained calm and professional. I would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely incredible. I was traveling in the area and my car had an oil leak. Omar set up the tow, got me there in 15 minutes. Fixed the leak in 30 minutes and had back on the road to make my meeting. Absolutely incredible customer service, great shop, fair prices. Just go to omar!!! BEST experience ive ever had at a repair shop, hands down!!!

First time coming to this shop and all I gotta say is the service here is amazing. Owner is a very genuine guy and was able to manage to fix my clogged drain the same day without an appointment. If you’re looking for a new mechanic I recommend coming here and giving it a shot.

The owner is super nice, honest, explained everything and gave me a time slot that would work for me. I went in for alignment and noise coming from my AC. They did the alignment pretty quickly and then also fixed the noise from my AC, the mechanic also brought the Blower Motor to show me what was wrong with it all within a 45 mins. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I’m so glad I did. I arrived as soon as his shop opened, and there were already a few happy customers being helped. From the moment I walked in, I could tell Omar was both caring and honest. He took the time to clearly explain what he planned to do, what he was doing, and what he had done. While waiting for my quote, I noticed family photos around the waiting room. Later, Omar shared with my fiancée and me the story of how he met his wife 35 years ago, which just added to the personal, trustworthy atmosphere. A few minutes later, he brought me over to show exactly what needed to be done on my car—something no other mechanic had done before. His quote was more than fair, actually, better than I expected and he completed all the work that same day in just a few hours. Throughout the process, he kept me updated with pictures and didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services. All this to say, I’ll be returning to Omar for all my auto needs, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Long review - but a TRUE experience. I recently purchased a tuned-up Corvette C6 (cam, headers, exhaust, etc.) and brought it to Omar for a tune-up based on all the great reviews—despite knowing that these kinds of jobs aren’t cheap. Unfortunately, after the initial work, the car wasn’t running any better, and I honestly thought I had gotten ripped off. But Omar noticed I wasn’t happy and didn’t brush it off. Instead, he went above and beyond—taking the car back in, checking everything again, even upgrading some parts without hesitation. He walked me through the entire process with photos and videos, explained possible issues the car might have beyond the tune, and showed a level of professionalism and care that’s rare these days. What really blew me away was that he even took time out of his weekend to research and recommend a specialty tune shop for highly modified vehicles, just to make sure I was getting the best performance possible. Leaving this shop, I can say with full confidence: Omar is a stand-up guy. He’s honest, respectful, and takes real pride in his work and customer service. Finding an honest and trustworthy mechanic is very difficult to find. Omar was transparent through the entire process which was very appreciated. He did not move forward until you gave him permission to do so. Photos were provided throughout the entire process. I’m thankful to have found a mechanic like Omar. Best Mechanic in town! I am a new driver and have limited knowledge about cars but very good at knowing when someone is taking advantage of me. I found Omar’s after another mechanic tried to get me to send a crazy amount of money for a tire rotation. Omar took care of me. Gave me great advice on ordering some parts I needed for my wheels. He was super cost effective and did a great job with my car. I ended up needing to change my back breaks and he did it the same day and fast. This is for sure my go to place moving forward. I highly recommend

I’m so grateful I found Omar! He is honest, detailed, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. His shop is spotless, incredibly organized, and it’s clear he takes pride in his work. My experience at the GM service center across the street was horrible. I brought my truck there for an oil change, only to leave with a check engine light and my car shaking, it like they cause the issues to rob you blind. They claimed they didn't changed the oil but only topped it off, denied their mistake, and then tried to charge me a diagnostic fee and quote me for repairs they caused. I left withy car shaking and had to pay 570 dollars. By the grace of God, I found Omar right across the street. With over 600 five-star reviews, it’s easy to see why he’s so highly rated. In just one day, he fixed the engine misfire by replacing the injectors and even sent me pictures of the work as he went along. After a full inspection and proper oil change, my truck now drives like new! Omar is a man of his word, and his honesty and attention to detail are unmatched. I wasted over $10K on service at GM in the past 2 years, and I wish I’d found Omar sooner. GM’s service is dishonest and rude, while Omar proves that skilled and trustworthy mechanics still exist. I was considering selling my truck, but it’s running so well now that I might keep it! Thank you, Omar, for your amazing work. You’ve earned a lifelong customer.

Don’t ever go anywhere else.. Omar will never tell you what the problem is with you car with out looking at it first. I’ve learned that you cannot fix a problem by describing it. I had to replace my Honda Civic's brakes, rotors, wheel bearing, wipers and get the fluids checked. I had a great experience at Omar's. The mechanic was very personable and took 20 minutes after I went there to open up the car to show me each of the things that needed fixed. He was extremely professional and explained everything really well and kept providing photos of updates as the repair was going on. The prices he quoted were much lower than the Honda service center and the fixes he recommended were reasonable rather than just trying to extract more money. And my car is now running smoother than ever. I'm going to come back even if I move further away since I had such a good experience. ? Recommended!
