Subject: Urgent Request for Refund – Order Not Received
Dear Walmart Customer Service,
I am writing regarding an online order totaling $200.00 that I placed recently but did not receive at my residence in Staten Island.
Due to my disability and inability to drive, I rely heavily on online shopping for my household needs. My family and I have been loyal Walmart customers for many years, which makes this situation especially concerning.
After noticing that my order had not been delivered, my sister, Ms. Virgenmina Rodriguez, assisted me in contacting Walmart through both phone and online chat support. We were informed that a refund would be issued to my account. However, as of today, the refund has not yet been reflected.
I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed urgently and that the promised refund be processed as soon as possible. I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention and assistance in resolving this issue.

The African American lady that works return is very weird. I think she thinks the store belongs to her. She was on the phone with her friend. She had her friend on speaker. She checked the item I was return million of times and asked why am I returning over and over again. And this is not the first time they give me hard time returning something that is clearly stated on their website I can return within 30 days. I hope the big managers and people in charge check out the unprofessional people they have at this store. I am definitely not returning here again. It’s easy for you to take my money but when I return something you give me hard time. I’m taking my business somewhere else. And to the lady that works there baby you are doing too much. You need to relax.

worst customer service, been sitting here for almost an hour trying to get my order and can clearly see people going in and out of the pickup but failing to acknowledge me here. one person came and told me they are closed and i explained i've been here waiting 30 mins already and he went back to tell whoever and never came back leaving me here sitting for no reason

The store may be dirty in the parking lot, but the employees are very polite and friendly and will actually walk you over to the shelf to help you find things. I didn’t see anyone arguing with each other or being rude to customers and some of the places I’ve been to are really not the best but this one is on the inside.

Let's be real and I'm very about Walmart Bayonne. I will rate this location at a 2 for the major following reasons. I will also be writing the Corporate Office.
As a retail auditor and frequent shopper/delivery driver, I must report that this store represents a complete operational failure. This is a formal warning to customers and contractors:
HEALTH & SAFETY RISKS:
Rotten Odors in the meat department, indicating serious sanitation issues.
Customers forced to CLIMB SHELVES to reach items because stock is pushed to the back, creating a severe fall hazard.
Unprofessional Conduct: Stock crews use profane language on the sales floor. Asset Protection personnel are confrontational and rude.
HOSTILE & NEGLECTFUL ENVIRONMENT:
Staff are on personal calls, listening to headphones, and socializing instead of working.
Visible resentment when asked for help; many pretend not to understand or lack basic store knowledge.
Zero visible management on the floor. The one supervisor witnessed was openly rude to a customer.
"Even Asset Protection staff are unprofessional—holding personal conversations on cell phones and using a rude, confrontational tone with customers."
SYSTEMIC OPERATIONAL FAILURES:
Chronic out-of-stocks and poor merchandising (items not front-faced).
Bags frequently unavailable, contradicting NJ law and store policy.
Cashiers watch customers struggle without offering help.
This is not just poor service—it is a toxic, unsafe, and dysfunctional store. I have filed a detailed report directly to Walmart corporate executives demanding an immediate unannounced audit and full retraining. Shop here at your own risk until corporate intervenes."Dec 29, 2025 -
Once every 2-3 weeks. It is sometimes great and sometimes not that great. Few things: Getting help is not easy, checkout is quick, and the toys area is always good.

I filed a complaint with Walmart on 11/19 after an extremely poor checkout experience. The cashier was rude, offered no help with the card machine or gift card redemption, and provided zero guidance. When I paid in cash, the cashier deliberately placed my change on the far corner of the counter instead of into my outstretched hand.
A manager later sent one generic, dismissive email and then completely disappeared—no follow-up, no resolution. Despite many calls and emails, no one took my feedback seriously. Judging by the large number of similar reviews, it’s clear that management consistently protects unprofessional employees. Very disappointing.Dec 13, 2025 -
During checkout, the cashier who assisted me was unprofessional and provided no support when I attempted to use the Walmart Pay app. Walmart associates are expected to be trained to assist customers with store technology, yet the cashier made no effort to help. Additionally, she was not wearing a name tag, Operator 706 which prevented me from identifying her for this report. I requested to speak with a manager; however, due to the long line behind me, I did not want to inconvenience other customers, so I chose not to escalate the situation at that moment. Still, the behavior I experienced clearly indicates a need for improved training and coaching for this employee, particularly in customer service and familiarity with Walmart Pay.
I am trusting that this matter be addressed promptly so that other customers do not encounter similar issues. I would appreciate confirmation that this concern has been received and will be reviewed by store leadership.Dec 05, 2025 -
I would generally rate Walmart quite positively, but there’s one major issue. The way customers are treated after shopping is completely disrespectful — it feels like they’re being searched as if they’re trying to steal. And when theft does occur, it’s truly a shame for the company and the country. Most of the time, stolen items aren’t high-end products being resold; they’re taken out of necessity. It’s a sad reflection of broader social issues

I find Walmart to be better store to shop at, online or in store, I have never experienced any issues when returning products that were damaged or defective, I have purchase groceries and sometimes order clothing on line among other things, no hassles, all of my TVs were purchased from Walmart, they service is extremely excellent in all departments. It’s too bad I always have to pay a toll to get there, I which we had a Walmart store on the Island.

The cashiers at this store will double or sometimes triple scan items please make sure you double check your receipts before leaving the store because the managers will lie and say they’re processing a refund for the extra items charged and then never will even if you call back multiple times. I was charged almost $150 extra over the course of multiple visits because my purchases always include a lot of items so it was easy to go unnoticed until after. The store will never give you the money back and it just happens again the next time you visit. Sucks you can’t do self checkout cause they’re worried you won’t scan anything but if you go to their employees you’re paying extra every visit because they’re not paying attention. Stay away if you can get your items somewhere else or validate your receipt and charges before you pay especially on transactions of 40+ items totaling in the 100s.

This Walmart location had neatly stocked aisles. I Found pretty much everything I needed except for 1 or 2 items. I was there Sunday Oct 19th approximately 8:45pm. I spent about $243, not complaining, but I didn’t appreciate the cashier Named Maria, I think it was register #5, she was rude and obnoxious. Immediately after I go on her line she yells out to customer behind me “stop coming on my line there’s other lines open”. I asked for the price of my child’s toy & outfit before scanning all the food items & she tells me “I don’t have time for this I’m leaving soon so hurry up”. I explained to the lady I want to confirm the price on certain items and She starts scanning all the items like speedy Gonzalez, with an attitude.. I asked her name, I paid, & walked out. I hope the manger will speak to her regarding her behavior.

My experience at the Walmart Bayonne location was absolutely terrible. The staff and security were extremely rude and disrespectful, showing no professionalism at all. The security guard, in particular, was very disrespectful and would not even allow me to speak or explain myself. The overall atmosphere felt hostile and unwelcoming, and I even sensed discriminatory and racist behavior, which is completely unacceptable in any public place. I am very disappointed and shocked by how poorly customers are treated here. Walmart seriously needs to address the behavior of their employees and security staff at this location. If I could, I would give this store zero stars.

Very disrespectful and racist cashier even the officer over there was inhumane who started pulling out cart and throwing it away. It was all because we were two people using the same cart but was going to pay separately which the chaser didn’t feel like doing then she said she won’t take us after we explained to her. The officer then came started pulling the cart and pushing us away with the things we bought. So inhumane and unacceptable for a public store. If you want to shop in a safe environment especially with kids this is not the safe place to go to!! Protect your families and stay away from these people who don’t know how to treat people or act like human beings

I went to buy a Pepperidge farm puff pastry and they were all in a spot that said $4.94 when I went to the register and it came up as $6 something.. so we went to go Check the labels and there wasn’t anything there that said the original price.. it should have been honored but he didn’t…

The Scan & Go feature is one of the best improvements Walmart has introduced. It provides a seamless, efficient, and convenient shopping experience by allowing customers to scan items as they shop and avoid checkout lines altogether. Excellent execution and a great step forward in enhancing customer satisfaction.

I just visited this Walmart today and had a terrible experience. An employee, a larger woman with curly hair and glasses, was pushing a shopping cart containing large objects, and due to carelessness and not looking where she was going, smashed the cart into my arm. The cart and the objects hit my arm, and the woman nonchalantly said sorry and then left quickly. My arm is now developing a large painful bruise due to this employee's negligence. Thought I was entering a Walmart, not a war zone.

The cashier was not customer friendly. The receipt printed was halfprinted with lot of details cut out. When requested for a correct receipt, she looked at it and then started talking in denial mode. Instead of offering help, she said it's ok it does not matter, still half of the information is present. When I went to customer service, she kept in looking at me every now and then as if the ask is something out of the world. Very bad experience with the cashier.

I visited this store on 9/7/25 just to get some last minute items for back to school. After waiting in a long for approximately 15 to 20 minutes only for the cashier to brought some other customer on the line before me with no explanation nothing. Upon asking her if the believe that she should have said something to customers who’s waiting on line she flat out said no! When asked if she thinks that we as the customer deserve an apology, she again said she got nothing to apologize for. After asking to speak with her manager, he had the same attitude as her, he couldn’t care less about what customers think about staff. I will not be setting foot back in Walmart will never spend another dollar here.

This location is HUGE! The building was clean, stocked and organized. The team was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. There are bathrooms, parking and store access for the physically impaired and shopping carts available for use. I love shopping here! Thank you Walmart!

Worst experience ever
This is not the Walmart I’m used to. I can to do a simple return in costumer service and this person was clearly having a bad day and she found her costumer to be the target of it all.
The lady in the picture started yelling at me and cut me off with every question I asked. Additionally while I was talking to her she was scrolling on social media. Then to add to it all she went to call the manager and as she walked by me she stuck her finger in my face in a very threatening way.
The manager in the other hand took two minutes to help me a resolved everything and it was quick easy and refreshing.May 06, 2025 -
Despite all the criticism this is still my favorite grocery store in the Bayonne area. Prices are much better than nearby Shop Rite and Stop&Shop and they carry a very good variety of products.
There are some annoying things such as the fact they limited the self checkout line to 3 machines trying to push their Walmart+ membership but if you go during off peak hours you can always find plenty of cashiers available. During peak hours things do get a little busy.Feb 10, 2025 -
Came all the way up here in the hope to buy some seeds l saw a week before, peppers and sunflower seeds, all of a sudden all the disappeared and noone has no clue to inform me about, one person sends me to another and another to ask about , nothing.

The cashier gentleman was nice
You can find home essentials tools, kitchen items etc…
But we ask a question from another lady, she was super rude to us. She was screaming at us for no reason
We couldn’t understand she was fighting or answering the question.
So we decided not to ask anything
