Phenomenal shop. I had been to 3 mechanics, one of which told me I should total my vehicle. They were thorough in diagnosing the issues, and quick with repairs. They were also incredible and patient explaining things over the phone and took the time to make sure I understood everything going on. Another added suprise was that they warranty their work. It's hard to find good mechanics...these guys are top notch. Hoping to get another 100k on my car thanks to them. I will not hesitate to recommend them. Cannot thank you guys enough for ending my vehicle woes!

I've been using their service for over 30 years. They perform accurate work, that is meticulously completed in a timely manner. They even warranty their work.I highly recommend them next time you have an auto repair need.

The mechanics did an excellent job doing multiple services on my vehicle. Pat was very honest and broke down in detail of what needed to be done. My car drives like it’s brand new.

I was in quite a pickle with my car needing a new timing chain and ultimately a new engine. (It seems that most of my local shops don't do work on timing chains.) Pat and Kelly were amazing at helping me through the whole process, from getting my car to their shop, sourcing a replacement engine, quotes about the work, and accurate estimates about the time frame for completion as well as cost. I live over an hour away from West Deptford Auto, but I wouldn't hesitate to take my car there again.

My Family and I have been coming here for services for years. Honest people who will give you a no nonsense, fair qoute! They won't try and upsell you on anything! They are a very good, trustworthy business, hence why they've been around for so long!

Awful. At first we were comfortable with the service. Spent $5000 in motor work and water pump was leaking after replacement truck went back several times and still leaking have to constantly add antifreeze and the whole top end of the motor was redone still has a sticky or faulty valve. Will never return to this place.

Needed a new front diff and components on my 06 ram 2500. They were quick to make a diagnosis, come up with a plan and execute that plan. Just dropped the truck off, so I cant rate the quality of repairs, however Kelly was especially helpful thus far, and the mechanics explained everything to me that they found and what needed to be done. They personally went out to inspect the parts being replaced to make sure they were adequate which tells me they actually care. I was able to bounce some of my own ideas off them and they were receptive to that. Looking forward to getting my truck back. No doubt in my mind it Will surpass my expectations.

I was nervous to find a new mechanic after I had moved, but this shop is fantastic! I brought my Jeep in with a laundry list of issues (oil change, rotation, check engine light, and inspection). Took care of everything extremely quickly and with quality! They called me to review pricing as well. Thank you!

Wonderful service, great prices! They twice squeezed me in next day despite being very busy and fixed my vehicle quickly. They are now my go to shop!

First things first I have been using this garage for awhile but this last visit they went above and beyond. Back in June I had gotten in an accident and was with out my car for over a month and as soon as I got it back from the auto body shop it started stalling. So I took it back to them they said I needed Maintanance and it wasn’t due to the accident. I took it to West Deptford and they not only confirmed the issue but Pat went to bat with the auto body shop and insurance repair rep and got them to cover the cost of the repair. Pat is awesome and Kelly is a sweetheart. Thank you so much!

I have taken my car to two other places because of a noise that I heard on the front tire along with an issue with the ignition. Both could not figure it out. West deptford auto did. The car runs and starts just fine. Very good and friendly service.

Pat is an honest mechanic that takes great care of our cars. He does not over charge, as a matter of fact we’ve had our cars there and after his evaluation paid nothing. Highly recommend Pat and his crew.

Diagnosed a relatively tricky electrical issue quickly, and quickly resolved it. A dealer had misdiagnosed the issue and quoted a fix that was not only significantly more $ but which probably would not have completely resolved the problem. These guys clearly know their stuff. They are always professional and courteous, and do great work. I had previously had a vehicle towed in with a major transmission failure, and they worked with me to determine whether a rebuild/replacement was worthwhile, given the age of the vehicle (ultimately I decided to not go forward and got rid of the vehicle). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Took my truck here to have new exhaust manifolds installed. Job was very well done and it didn’t take too long. Overall I’m very satisfied and would go back in the future.

Absolute worst customer experience of my life and the only taste left in my mouth is that of someone being taken advantage of by the automotive repair industry. I will talk till I’m blue in the face to prevent someone from having to go through what this business put me through. And since this business felt the need to negatively review my review as if my discrepancies never happened, please feel free to reach out if you need photographic proof that this business charged me $140 for a sensor that is available from advanced auto and pepboys and autoZone for $69.99. Let’s not fail to mention the slipping of my transmission after my vehicle left this shop.

Every person I spoke with was kind and professional. Our car needed work, it was making new noises and hadn't been checked out in years. We scheduled an oil change which comes with a free safety inspection, where they check routine things. After they assessed our concerns and made their recommendations, we were pleasantly surprised by the quoted price. We had been bracing ourselves for much more! And they didn't suggest anything extra like a dealership tries to. Work was quick and the car is driving smoothly. *Note - when I agreed to the repairs on the phone, I also asked about state inspection. Our other car needs one. The mechanic, thinking I was referring to the car in the shop, explained that NJ inspections are just emissions now. They may note safety concerns that the police can pull you over for, but "honestly, you don't need any of this work to pass inspection for free at the DMV if that's all you're concerned about. Do you still want to go ahead with the repairs? We recommend them to safely drive the car." I was so surprised by his honesty. It was an unexpected assurance that they wouldn't push anything we didn't absolutely want, but remain clear about what is needed.

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to Pat for over 14 years and I have referred many others to the shop. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Not only does he do excellent work but when you leave his shop you feel safe driving your car. Pat and the guys are like Dr’s, they diagnose and fix the problem. Kelly in the office will help you make your appointment, she is so sweet and also knowledgeable. If 10 stars were the rating l would give10. He also does warranty work so you don’t always have to go back to your dealer. Thank you everyone at West Deptford Auto.?

The team at West Deptford Auto & Transmission have worked on all our family cars & truck. They are first class in the work they do and they have the only 4 wheel alignment machine around that I know of. I wish I could put a million stars! Me and my husband broke down with our one year old and dog in the middle of our 3 hour trip home. My husband walked over asking for a specific part that broke off. The owner told him to bring it over and he put all the things in it. Was super knowledgeable and helpful. Him and his sister are super sweet and this is the best auto body I’ve ever been to! Could not reccomend them more!

I wish I could give this place more stars. My first contact was with Kelly. She took my information and and was able to translate the issue that I was having with my Tahoe (Hybrid) verbatim which is rare. My experience has been that most auto repair shops tend to hear only a small percentage of what you say in reference to the description of what is going on with your vehicle. Once Kelly had taken my information, she was able to repeat everything back that I had said and passed that information along to the owner, Pat. I brought my truck in the following day. With in a day or two I received a call from Pat who was absolutely amazing. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly with the repairs completed not to long afterwards.Such a nice guy and professional. He took a great deal of time to explain what the problem was, what needed to be done and how long it would take, start to finish. He really did go above and beyond, and yes I was a new customer. Would I return for future service, absolutely! Thanks to Kelly.Pat and Kyle. My Tahoe runs like new.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful! I made an appointment to get my car's power steering system checked because something seemed off. I ended up changing my battery before dropping the car off and it turns out that fixed the problem but the mechanic took a look at the car anyway free of charge! Didn't find any issues but am super grateful for the courtesy check. The mechanic even gave me some useful info regarding battery power and how it effects different parts of the car. I will definitely be going back for more services.

For many years I took my classic cars to West Deptford Transmission for work. I recently called to have transmission work done on my classic car. I spoke to Pat McAleer who said he purchased the company from the old owner Bob. He told me to bring the car in so he could inspect the car to see what would be needed to repair the speedometer issues. He put the car on a lift, did the inspection himself. After 45 minutes he told me he needed to do some research and would get back to me in a few days with his estimate. I asked him if I owed him anything for the visit. He said no which I thought was unusual. After a full week I returned to ask if he had my estimate. I was told that the estimate wasn't ready yet and Pat will call me when the estimate was ready. After two more weeks went by with no reply from Pat (the owner) I took my car elsewhere. I would of rather he told me he didn't want the work or have time. Instead he strung me out waiting with no response. The original owner Bob was a good businessman unlike Pat Mcleer.

Giving them 5 stars because they are true to their word. They don't con you like many other mechanics do. They are honest even when it means costing them money. They also have an amazing warranty on parts and labor. 24 months OR 24,000 miles (what ever comes first). Very nice staff as well.

I drove in with a tire that had a puncture and was leaking air. When I picked up my vehicle the mechanic informed me he fixed that leak and also found & fixed another tire I was unaware of. When I went to pay, the gentleman at the desk said "you don't owe us anything... We don't charge for those types of repairs...." I am still in shock, who does that?! Thank you, class act! You didn't have to do that. Happy Holidays and may 2018 be a successful one for you and the team!

These guys are Quality mechanics. Did a fantasic job on my 2 cars. The work was top notch and the price was very reasonable for all the work i had to have done. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family

I've never had such a positive experience with a mechanic than at West Deptford Auto. Even though I'm often shelling out more than I want to on a car repair, I always trust that Pat and his team are doing what's best for my car at the best price they can work with. They thoroughly explain all repairs in a way that even a non-expert like myself can understand. Once I started going to West Deptford Auto, it was hard to think of taking my car anywhere else. It's been many years and I'm so grateful to have found them!
