I went looking for an air filter for my car and the manager Alejandro was very polite and informative. He was such a big help and his coworker Juan was also polite and helped me install it. Will definitely be coming back whenever I need anything for my car!! Recommend for anyone to come and get your car parts here

Was trying to figure out minor issue- believed it was a fuse but not positive. Couldn't believe how much time Danny spent helping and confirming what it was, making sure I got the right one (so many similar) and hunting the store to make sue I didn't have to buy a pack just for one. On top of that, great guy. Appreciate all the help and next time I need something, will be back to this store.

You can’t even shop normally without the manager Eunice yelling at someone. i go in this store and deal with the same nonsense everyday. If this is how you guys are gonna conduct business, with these low emotional intelligent managers i feel so bad to your already failure of a company.

Horrible customer service . Dont know if it was the manager but horrible customer service. I asked for side terminal charging posts and they said that they didnt sell that , yet i went to a difference store and they had it . Staff didnt even try to help me find what i needed , nor they showed any interest. Would not recommend this store to anyone

Bad customer service by one of the cashier ( a guy ) I showed him the item available on their app in this exact location And he still told me they don't have it ...and just kept directing me to a isle that don't have the item Unprofessional service

A sales associate told me I cannot purchase the item I wanted without providing my phone number. I was told she could not get past that step on the register, so the order could not be completed. Wow. These establishments are training their associates to lie to the customer to get their number and sell it. WOW

Absolutely terrible experience. The young man tried to tell me he wouldn’t take back the cans of paint because they were sprayed and I tried to explain to him. Yes they were sprayed but they were defective cans of paint it was part of a project car I bought about 60 different cans of paint and the ones that were defective. I put to the side he refused to take them back and said they’re sprayed. I can’t take them back even though they are defective products I am so upset by the treatment of the young man named Anthony tonight that I expect a phone call from a regional manager tomorrow morning. This is unacceptable treatment and you’re supposed to have better standards than that. Why waste my money on something if your angry managers are not willing to do their jobs and when I want to ask for the store manager‘s name, he refused to give me the name. He refuse to give me anybody’s name I’ll give you the customer service number and threw a paper at me, I will never go to this Advance ever I normally go to the one in Hackensack and they never give me a hard time about returning anything because if something is defective, it’s defective. I offered the young man to go ahead and spray the cans so he could see that they come out chunky. They ended up messing up half of the spray paint job done on the vehicle which cost me about $1000 more in paint. This is absolutely unbelievable behavior for advance auto parts, and I do expect something in return for this. Somebody needs to contact me as soon as possible.

Went in for a faulty battery that I purchased there, and they are tested it and replaced it under the warranty without issue. Guy with glasses was great and very friendly.

This place is a joke. Worst customer service ever ! Store manager EUNICE started yelling and went crazy for spray that was defective. She has anger issues. I will contact the corporate to make sure they check on them.

The lady didn't know how to use the system and didn't even try to put more effort to it. I had what advanced auto parts calls speed perks. It's the customer's right to use them and the employee should help him!

People frown on Advance Auto Parts for their prices, but the proof is in the pudding. Anthony, the manager, went above and beyond to assist me test, charge, and exchange my battery. Lena from Corporate also helped facilitate a smooth transaction. Thank you both for saving this down-on-his-luck student from potentially losing his job and school travels!

Third time the store's website says something is in stock, and we go to store and it's not in stock. Waste of time. Also, beware that the service persons are not well informed of required service oil types. A service representative tried telling us that the oil I was looking for my vehicle was incorrect, but per my dealer and service manual it is the only recommended oil to use.

I just went to a store for pickup and I went inside to get the order and they took me to the back of the store to ask the manager for the delivery and I overheard her talking bad about black people and talking about Donald trump etc and when I asked if they had the order she said "What are you doing here this was delivered over an hour ago" and I told her to have more respect for drivers because we do not control when and where we get orders and I also mentioned I would report her and she replied "I don't care I'm the boss here anyways." Not to mention she has black employees and making racist remarks

Horrific customer service! I went to get a battery at around 7 pm and a Hispanic guy a little on the heavy side with a ponytail was “helping me”. He looked on the computer to check which battery fits my car. He tells me the prices, He then walks away to helps a female on another register leaves the store to Help her and comes back in and asks NEXT customer? I then said to him excuse me you were helping me. You abandon me to help another customer. You didn’t finish helping me. He then aggressively responds you don’t have to talk to me like that. I was so confuse! I responded by saying excuse me? Talk to you how ? I’m telling you that you abandon me in a middle of a sale to go help another customer. He then continue to challenge me and go back and forth with me. Super disrespectful ! At that point I took my business to Auto Zone. Don’t waste your time in this place.Go to Auto Zone they treat you way better and they are super helpful. There’s no manager in this store to hold their employees accountable for their poor costumer service. Horrible!

I went to purchase a new battery at 6:30 PM and was told that they do not install battery after dark. I wish I could give them zero ratings. I went down the block to a competitor and got my battery installed. Thanks for nothing!!

First and last time going to this location, the assistant was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I observed others being treated with proper service meanwhile the young lady attending to me was too indulged in the conversation and business going on next to us to even recall what I was asking for. After offering an item number (which she rudely refused) and repeating my car make and model over and over, it turned out there was only one item available when I needed multiple. Wasted my time for nothing.

Hours are different from what they are on google. I got there at 5:48, one of the guys let me in and then locked the door behind me and said “alright guys 5 minutes til closing we’re shutting down the computers.” When I told them google said they closed at 7 a guy said “I know what the website says we’re closing at 6.” Ended up not getting anything cause I was rushed the staff was unpleasant for literally no reason

The manager “benji”with the girly eyebrows threatened to “eff me up” and to watch myself after he didn’t like my tone for not being able to make a simple return. No way to conduct business when patrons are being threatened physically. You guys should consider who you hire for management. The employees at this store at attentive and helpful, everything is easily laid out and relatively easy to find. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the cleanliness and condition of the Parking lot. There is simply put trash everywhere. It’s not acceptable, and with a little work could be addressed.

Horrible, worst experience ever!!! I have been told to wait on the other line, and I waited with patience, no complaint. After a while, the man with the beard came and started to rush me??? (no customer at that time) Ask me to hurry up, omg what kind attitude is that, and I don't care about it. My item is $13.96; he said my total was $14 and I gave him $20, he gave me back $3.96. I didn't realize at first, but when I realized and back to him. He still has a nasty attitude and told me to line up again; I'm okay with that because other people are waiting at that time. After I get to him and explain to him that you gave me the wrong change, he then take out a calculator and rudely throw 3 dollars in front of me!!! He should give me back $6.04. Honestly, nobody cares about 4 cents, but he never wants to tell me that he doesn't have 4 cents because he feels like I'm the one who wastes his time and gave me that attitude. I'm paying for this why should I deserved that nasty attitude. I have been here before, everyone is friendly and with professional service, but because of him, I will not be back anymore. The manager should consider this seriously about how employees are treating the customer with attitude.

I came to buy a battery. And a associate by the name Dwight was the best help I have ever gotten from any retail store I been to. He was very helpful he put a smile on my face even through I was having a bad day. I will tell all of my friends if they need car parts,go to advance on Bloomfield ave. The store was very clean and everyone there seemed like if they was family. I will come back to that store,and gladly get parts from them. Tell Dwight to keep up the good work.

Store has pretty good selection of parts and if something isn't available they will order it very promptly. But friendliness of staff is hit or miss. I know my way around a car, not the store but they don't seem to get that and offer no assistance in finding products. Went to another Advance Auto Parts in a different town and talk about a difference of service. You don't know good service untill you get it!
