Stopped by on a Saturday early afternoon. Few patrons in there, picked up with folks watching college football.

Friendly bartender and staff. Food was great! I got a breakfast item (scrapple, egg and cheese on a long roll w/breakfast potatoes $13). Asked for extra cheese, $1 more. Delicious!

Girlfriend went for scallops. Market Price was $25 for about ten of them (she did in and ate a few before I could snap a photo, so I didn’t even try. I’m not a seafood person, so I’m not a good judge for price/quality. She loved them and thought it was a fair price. She thought they were great.

Great spot known to those that know, for great seafood. Thought we’d catch our friends Rob and Maureen there, maybe next time!
We tried the Westside Saloon for the first time this weekend with friends from West Wildwood and we had a great breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, French Toast, bacon and even steak with eggs and then a Tomato Tower were all great. The service was great, too.
Drinks were ok clams made me a little ill but flounder sandwich was ok and scallops were said to be delicious mussels again ok no sides served with platters except ff very uncomfortable seating on concrete won’t be back too many other places to go and relax with good food at the same price !! Good place for younger crowd there to meet and drink.
Me and my brother from another mother (Marc) have been coming down to Wildwood together every summer since 1992. And despite 3 decades of eating and drinking in all the same places, today we tried something different…

Never heard of it?
Neither had we.
Until recently.
There’s a reason there’s only a one lane, one-way only bridge into West Wildwood.
Population: 536 when we approached the bridge.
Population: 538 when we tried to leave.
The good news is that there’s an incredibly great dive bar called Westside Saloon” with truly amazing food and drinks and awesome, friendly locals at the very end of the island.
Marc and I looked at each other several times this afternoon saying, “I never want to leave.”
Under her breath, I could hear the bartender That’s good. Cuz now youz can’t leave...” ??♂️
So glad we went tonight! Everything was frest and delicious!! The drinks are made with fresh squeezed juice, which made my night and all the Seafood was broiled to perfection. The fries were great and the Jersey tomato tower was yum!!! Highly Recommend and we will be back! The staff works hard and was pleasant and attentive. 10/10
Westside Bestside!!!!! I’m a local and this is one of my favorite places. food is amazing, all of the staff is so kind and attentive. Aubree is the best server! the most perfect hole in the wall.
We went there tonight to try the fried tomato. Don’t go there with kids. They sat us in the hottest part of the restaraunt. The only one with no fans. It ended with a 22 year old kid telling me…”get off my property or I’ll call the cops”. Me and my twin 15 year olds. 8 year old 6 old year old and wife obliged. We took our Uber home.
Service was on point from bar to food service and after dinner drinks. Good crowd everyone happy and menu options are different then most places. Everything here from service ,
Crushes, food, atmosphere, and staff they bring to the next level then most places in a tourist driven town. This bar and restaurant compliments the community in so many good ways that the secret is out. Owner Billy really made something out of nothing and this place is on a people’s radar from locals, long time summer residents, first time visitors, and there is no issues. Place is a 12 out of 10.
Had their food at the Lazy Bass Grill - amazing! Lobster roll with scallops wrapped in bacon. Best food truck food I ever had. We went to find the actually restaurant on our way home!
Small place, only the bar seating and some outdoor and definitely majority locals. I have been here many times and treated well each and every time. The food is on another level, the seafood is absolutely delicious and their crushes are the go to drink while here.
Went on a Friday night and got seat at the bar, got lucky. This has got to be some of the best food in a bar I’ve ever had. I got 4 appetizers that were on the large chalkboard which I’m guessing are specials. They were all great. Stuffed longhots with crab ? ??then bacon wrapped scallops in maple syrup ? then pork wings (what?) yep pork wings , unbelievably delicious ? and lastly oysters Rockefeller ?The four of us drank including their freshly squeezed orange crush and some beer and the bill was only $90. If you get these apps any where else they would be $20 each. This is a very small place and friendly place
Always a great time here! Billy is amazing we love aubrey, too ? if you haven't been here, this is not bar food this is real food that you would expect at a high-end restaurant. Consistent and excellent.
You definitely need to check out Westside Saloon! Seafood is excellent and priced fair. Burgers are top notch and delicious! Don’t forget to try out one of their crushes that are all made from scratch!
As other reviewers have said, this place is a total rip off. I don't know why the employees here aren't wearing masks they way they are robbing you. How can the majority of the menu be market price. It's impossible other than hiding the fact that they are way overcharging you. How can a second rate crab cake, served without tarter or cocktail sauce, served in a plastic basket be worth $26. And being charged $28 for the fried tomato appetizer is totally insane. Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere else in the Wildwoods for a guaranteed better meal than you'll get here. I don't know how people can be going here for the poor quality and ridiculous prices.
The owner was great and helpful. The barmaid was awesome and sweet and nice and accurate made the best drinks. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was like your good old waterfront small town community neighborhood bar loved it. We came all the way from Baltimore they even get T-shirts for no windmills.
The best scallops you will eat in Wildwood! Highly recommend this hidden gem, food and drinks are amazing and the staff is very friendly. It’s a tiny place, so be prepared to sit outside and wait a little longer for your food - I promise it’s worth the wait!
I recently visited Westside Saloon in West Wildwood, NJ, and I had an amazing experience! Their scallops, shrimp, and asparagus platter is out of this world, and their orange crush drinks are so good. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and drinks.
A Hidden Island Gem
The Westside Saloon is very small, but don't let that scare you away. The cozy atmosphere is buoyed by very reasonable prices and food surprisingly tasty food. Philly sports are on almost all the time, and they have a lot of large widescreen TVs, so there is no bad viewing spot.
If you want to dine here with your family, you will need to sit outside. Indoor seating is bar-only (with a few small bar tables), which doesn't allow for children. We usually ditch the kids and eat at the bar ;-)
When you go, try the "orange crush" drink. It's the best on the island. The "pina colada crush" is also very good.
FYI they don't have draft beer. Not sure why. Probably due to the size.
Very cool Locals only Dive bar! Great staff our Barmaid Emily was a breath of fresh air as she guided us through this culinary extravaganza The chef is also AMAZING.. We had the best dish we've had in a long time The tomato ? Tower ? DeeeeeeLish and washed it down with big orange ?? Crush ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐we will be back??⭐??️??
"5 Star Dive Bar" Been going to Wildwood for over 30 years, never knew this place existed. Totally retro and awesome. Worth the adventure! The fruit crushes are amazing, and the food is fantastic and local! It is usually a fun and lively scene. When in doubt just go for an Orange Crush and a Crab Cake Grilled Cheese. You won't be disappointed. However, the pineapple crush might be my favorite. But really you should just try all of them, and get a ride home.
Best seafood you'll find in the Wildwoods, hands down. Knows what's in season and how to cook it. Definitely making this a more regular spot. Also humbly priced for what you get compared to other seafood places in Wildwood.
