It never feels like you are being taken advantage of, everything is fully explained in detail and communication of operations is top tier!! The owner and his wife (at the reception desk :)) are genuine, honest people and their services are very valued by the community!!

Down on vacation & loosing tire pressure. Took car in without an appointment & during the busy lunch hour. A mechanic came out from the garage & immediately checked & plugged my tire. Would highly recommend for prompt, friendly, reasonable service.

Dobe runs a top notch auto repair shop, specializing in European cars. It’s rare when you can find a mechanic that you can trust to keep your car running strong. What a great feeling to be able to drop off the car hand them the keys and know that when I come back my car was cared for by a true professional who clearly has a passion for automobiles. They are honest, fair, & extremely knowledgeable. Consummate professionals with a down home touch. I travel 80 miles and pass several dealerships to get to Dobe.
Dobe’s shop saved me! While down in Wildwood for vacation my air suspension STB. I tried calling every auto shop I could find on Google and none of them would do it until I called Dobe’s! He somehow got the parts and turned it around in ONE DAY!! I didn’t have to worry about finding a room last minute or all the complications and expenses of extending my vacation. Lana was awesome, so nice, updated me quickly throughout the process… I can’t tell you how happy I am, this was a huge stress for me and you guys made everything work out better than I could’ve expected A+++++++ Thank you guys so so so much! I wish I lived closer so I could bring my car here for all services.
I came in with a screw in my tire, and the staff was polite and extremely helpful. They removed the screw and confirmed that no repair was needed, at no charge - an excellent experience all around for me. I’ll happily refer people here
I got a flat tire the night before and called Dobes the next day to see if they could fit me in. They said come and they will fit me in but I might need to wait. When I got there they were swamped with work but they still found time to fit me in very quickly for a small $25 tire plug and changing from the spare to the newley plugged tire. It means a lot to me that they took the time to take care of me for such a small amount of money. Highly would recommend and very friendly.
Have say when it comes to auto repair cost ? it’s hard to find an honest mechanic ??.. LOOK NO FURTHER!!

I needed help in fixing my vantage 30yo bmw. Doby was super helpful in letting me know what parts I would need to buy to get my car fixed and setting up the appointment in a short notice. I came in time and got a very high level service at a very affordable cost. Less than a day after I happily drove my perfectly working car home. No headache, no stress, no waste of time. My 2009 BMW X5 had a unique problem and I thought I had to start looking for a new car. Dobe took his time and diagnosed the problem and fixed the car right! I was so impressed with his precision and customer service. About 3 weeks later I got a call from Dobe I was thinking it was a wrong number however it was Dobe calling to see how the car was doing and if I had any issues with the car! Impressed!

Brought my dads truck there for a radiator issue this morning. They had the issue diagnosed, parts ordered and delivered within 20 minutes and the truck was back on the road within a few hours.

I would give him 10 stars if I could. I was at the beach with my 93 year old mom, when my car started making a very loud noise. Didn’t want to drive 2 hours with her in the car. I called, and they were extremely busy, but fit me in so I could get my mom home safely. Reasonable and very professional. Great job! My car is running perfectly now.
Every time I have an issue with my car, Dobe’s gets me right in. Latest was a oil pan leak from a Walmart oil change. Fixed my car same day and informed me how to file a claim with Walmart. Reimbursement check in the mail 3 days later. Will never go anywhere else again. Will recommend Dobe’s to everyone! Honest and always helpful. Won’t do work if it’s not needed.
Very good service. I had a wheel bearing that needed to be repaired before I could return to Canada with my trailer. The owner took the time to look into my problem and agreed to give me an appointment for first thing on the next morning. The repair was carried out efficiently. Another garage asked me to leave the car for 2-3 days, which I couldn't do. The next day, the parking brake connector came loose. I went back to the garage and they fixed it on the spot making sure it didn't come loose again despite the wear of the connection.
We have now used Dobe’s Auto Repair twice and both times, Dobe came through ahead of schedule with great results.
The first time was for a transmission-related problem and he called us after he looked at it and gave us an accurate estimate for both cost and time of completion. We were very satisified with that work.
Our air conditioning stopped blowing cold air and he offered that we drop the car off and that he’d look at it and recommend what to do. Within less than a 1/2 hour he told us he’d refill the cooling system and that it would last for quite awhile. We picked the car up within the hour for a VERY reasonable cost.
It’s clear to us that he runs a very good shop both in the garage and at the front desk.
I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting to get quick, high-quality work done on your vehicle.
BTW, I am writing this without any encouragement from them.
We were driving mid massive road trip and our car started to overheat. Dobe looked at it, realized it was a minor problem that he didn’t have a part for, and told us how to deal with it ourselves in a way that would let us finish the trip.
And, since he said it was a minor thing he didn’t even charge us the diagnostic fee. Couldn’t be happier about the whole experience and the amazing service that salvaged our family vacation!
This is my new go to repair shop. Called several shops for an oil change and couldn't get an appointment for over a week. Dobe's was suggested by a co worker and I was able to get an appointment the following day. My car was taken in immediately and my oil change was finished in less than 30 mins. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be a returning customer!
These guys are the very best. Called the first time about a month ago with a screw in my tire and they looked at it immediately. Pulled it and it was so small and needed no repair so no charge! Still tipped the tech. Already a good sign.
Then had an issue of overheating in my work van a few weeks back. Called on a Monday morning and Dobe told me to bring it over and leave it for a few hours. He called back at Noon with a price for coolant flush and radiator replacement and had it all fixed by 4 PM! I barely lost half a days work and Dobe was communicative, friendly and reasonably priced. He doesn’t mess around and is happy to help. He even saw that I needed an oil change and had a grossly expired inspection sticker, all of which he offered to take care at the same time which saved me a ton of time to not have to have rescheduled. I can’t say enough about this shop and they are my new team for auto repair!
These guys are just great! I was visting from out of town and along the way today I had a flat tire. Luck has it that I found this shop nearest me on Google. I pulled in last minute (no call or no appointment), asking if they do tire repairs. As there were several cars in the shop and everyone seemed busy, I was expecting to drop off the car and pick it up later. Then one of the mechanics said to the other, I'll take care of it. And 10 minutes later im out of the shop and ready to roll! Wow! No waiting, no hassle, no bull. Just quick, efficient honest work. Amazing service with most reasonable pricing. Professional and easy going. Will come back again for their service if Im in town and need some help with the car. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A+++
I was a walk-in and though Mr. Dobe himself was operating the shop as a one-man-band, he got my car in, made the assessment, negotiated over the phone to bring the price down on a necessary part, installed it and even brought me in to explain some things to me. All in the same day. He was pleasant and fair and my car was in great hands. I’ll be back!!!
Have been bringing my Mustang here for almost a year now. I’m always taken care of quickly. Never have to wait a long time for an appointment. Dobe and his team have done simple maintenance as well as difficult aftermarket performance upgrades and I am always extremely satisfied with the outcome. His pricing is always fair and they stand behind their work. Very glad to have a local shop I can count on. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a good mechanic.
