It's fine.. the only reason i put 4 stars instead of 5 is solely due to the layout of this ShopRite.. I really don't like where the entrance places you in the store, and for some reason, I dislike the layout of the frozen meat section. I like the Glassboro ShopRite best.. I'm a creature of habit I suppose.

Ordered catering for my daughter’s first birthday this weekend and it was excellent. Everyone was so surprised it was from Shop Rite. I ordered a cheese platter, a few dips, Stromboli, ciabatta sandwiches, sausage peppers & onions, grilled chicken, grilled veggies, and penne ala vodka and a cake. Everything was delivered in perfect condition included serving utensils and temp- hot food was hot. The cake was gorgeous & everyone really enjoyed the custard filling. Overall you can’t go wrong with catering from this Shop Rite. Everything was reasonably priced and the order was delivered free.

Decided i wanted honey ham today. Showed up to the deli and it was packed!! Also one deli staff , I think his name was James went over and above to take care of my order as others were yelling about their number in-line.He really took control of an uncomfortable situation. I know my honey ham needs are secured when james is on the slicer. I will be a repeat customer!

Ran in here to grab some items for my client, I will be back for my household soon because I now go to the dentist that’s located right next-door. After I do some research on the owners because I just heard some disturbing things about the store not sure which locations though. UPDATED: I went back after my dentist appointment Monday and picked up a rotisserie chicken, it was so delicious and juicy it was oxtail flavored/seasoned! Their deli department seems to have quite a few things that I will be trying when I go back again! Staff was very friendly, and the store was very clean and fully stocked. They had this little machine thing rolling around that kind of threw me off guard, but it was cute and what do you expect in this new time we’re living in.

I've never had chocolate that tasted so bad in my life. Doesn't Shoprite test these products before bringing them to the store? I don't recommend this extremely expensive and bad-tasting chocolate to anyone. By the way, the product has not expired

I am very disappointed in this store. I came to do my usual grocery list but also wanted to get Cracker Jack snacks for my niece and nephew for the Phillies playoffs. The store app says they have them but doesn’t give an isle, just says “other.” I walked all over the store, any area I could think of and came up empty. I am an amputee below the knee with a prosthetic leg and the pain was starting to get to me so I approached a young man at a computer near the check out isles. I asked him if he could help me find them. He says “should be isle 10.” I asked if he was sure because I had walked up and down those isles. He shrugged. I asked if his computer can locate them and he shrugged and just looked annoyed so I just said “never mind” angrily and walked away. I saw another employee nearby and asked her. She too just speculated and declined to help me. When I finished my shopping I went to the courtesy desk for help. I explained I was tired from walking all around the store to locate the cracker jack’s, showed them to her on my app and asked for help. She said isle 9 in the center box. I asked if she wa sure because I had been up and down the aisle. I asked if she could look in the computer to tell if there were anymore and she had some excuse not to. I left just very disappointed and frustrated. This store is usually much better but they were less than professional and customer-service friendly today. If I worked there and saw an amputee struggling and asking for help, I’d help. They were wrong and lazy.

Last Friday, I went to the store with my 2 year old, and he is so afraid of those robots, that walking around the store and making this whistle sounds. My son is getting panic attacks, he starts shaking and crying every time he sees or hears it. So I asked the people that work at the store if there is a possibility that they can turn these off. Unfortunately they couldn’t do that. Instead they closed the robot in a room for us. That was so, so charming. I want to say Thanks again for helping us, and solving the problem. We really appreciate what you did for us☺️

I use to buy pickles in the deli that were located in barrels at 1.50 each now there is a new pickle bar and the price of 2 pickles rang up at 6.00 double the price please put the kosher pickles back in the deli thank you

I can't get over how patient and kind from the oldest to the youngest, the people who work at your store are willing to help.

Good evening Google Family. I visited on the way home to purchase a few items, like Body Wash, protein powder and a salad, plus other things. I sampled the items that the employees have for you to taste and try. It was good. I purchased some soup today since it is cold and rainy today. My favorite weather. I found everything that I wanted. God is so good, I was able to find everything immediately. The one thing that I could not find was the restrooms. So I had to ask someone about that, They directed me to it. I could have sworn that I have been to this location of Shop Rite before. The rest rooms were clean and neat. The prices are outrageous!!! $25.49 for protein powder and it was $4.00 off, still too high!!! All of the supermarkets are outrageously high and the clothing stores are ridiculously high as well. No wonder no one has any money!!! It is hard to come out of this shopping center where the Shop Rite is housed. I had a good experience, however I don't feel that I would shop this location again. Have a good night Google Family and don't forget to work out, be healthy, fit and Fabulous!!!!

Lawnside Nj ShopRite had everything fully stocked & meat was fresh had plenty stuff on sale yes it was so clean in there staff was nice too. Forgot to get pic but I’ll be back!!

Always good stuff on sale ; store is big and always clean. ZALLIES KITCHEN IS RHE BEST THING. Got a Round pound cake ? it was so delicious ?; NOT FOR PPL WHO DIET, I need me a birthday cake to be done by the ZALLIES kitchen ABSOLUTELY ? THE BEST CAKE

I love sales and discounts! Wish we didn't have to waste time clipping digital coupons...they should just come off when using card. Clean Good selections Friendly staff

I had to make the decision to stop shopping at this location. They Jack the prices up on everything. All of the normal items that I would buy almond milk water even the Little Debbie's pecan swirls the prices are insane compared to what they are at Walmart I can go to Walmart and get the same almond milk water and pecan swirls for significantly less than what I pay here at ShopRite. I'm never coming here again every time I come here and I try to shop when I get to the checkout aisle the prices on everything are so jacked up that I don't even want to buy it anymore. I hope whoever the owner is of this ShopRite location is living it up I hope you have a good I hope you have a really nice house that you get to live in I hope you don't have to worry about the cost of food because you sit there and you jack up the price is so much you don't have to worry about anything do you? Absolutely ridiculous that you jack your prices up like you do I make it difficult for regular people to be able to feed themselves. I'll only be shopping at Walmart Aldi and lidl going forward because everything here is way too expensive you guys are ridiculous.

I was surprised to learn this is a Zallie’s-owned ShopRite, given the consistently poor quality of the produce and butchered products at this location. While anyone can adapt to the redesign, I’ve realized it’s actually more effort to shop here than to go out of my way for fresh produce and properly butchered cuts. I only do pickup for the staples or if I'm in a weeknight meal jam. The produce speaks for itself-moldy strawberries, soggy yellow onions, and whatever you’d call the onions pictured below, which I can only assume are stocked because Shrek must be a customer. The butchered meats, when they’re actually in stock, are often so poorly trimmed that I end up spending extra time in the kitchen removing silver skin and sinew. The seafood department is... let’s say, less than knowledgeable. One time, I asked for farm-raised mussels since they have fewer beards to clean, hoping to save time. You’d think I had just asked the guy behind the counter if they tucked the mussels in with a bedtime story before closing. The confusion was next-level. Even worse, the product label clearly stated they were farm-raised—so why was it such a hard ask to have someone just read the label? Below is just one example of the many sub-par produce items they happily sell at full price. I’ll be updating this review with more photos to illustrate just how committed this store is to redefining the bottom of the barrel. On top of that, I’m convinced new employees are trained to get in the way as much as possible. One even knocked into me during the redesign. Apparently, I made the mistake of shopping when they had more important things to do. And don’t even get me started on the self-checkout experience. Nothing says "helpful customer service" like an employee silently watching you, then wordlessly walking over, punching a few buttons on your screen, and drifting back to their post like a retail phantom. At this point, I genuinely believe someone at the corporate level looked at this location and asked, "How can we make this store as frustrating as possible?" If poor quality was an Olympic event, this store would be in contention for gold. This area needs some competition to wake up the family that has amazing stores in areas with more competition. Edit: It seems like every time I add a photo it refreshes the review. I was in contact with the store director, Mike, on March 7th. They mentioned sending me an email so we can discuss the store's challenges in more detail but never received one as promised. Given the lack of follow up, I will be happy to follow up on my continued experiences by continuing to post updates via photos here.

Do not ever pay for a cake for a birthday here. Please my daughter’s birthday is completely ruined today. I ordered a cake from Lawnside nj and the price was $135. I thought the price was high for ShopRite but I was like they must have some professionalsworking there. what I expect was suppose to be professional looking! it was suppose to be a fondant cake, but instead they thought their talents was so off the charts! they did everything by hand. Tonight is the night that I’m supposed to go to Smithville with this cake looks like a Batman’s cake for a child l. My daughter is 19 years old Cake looks nothing worth $135 and they said the price is high cause it’s consider a wedding cake. Oh you probably how did they make it right. by only giving partial payment that’s the best they can do said Chris the manager. they should be so embarrassed I would of been so embarrassed handing my husband a cake looking like that. how dare you ShopRite how dare you ruin our cake. I gave them a chance to make this right but this cake ruined our whole day. It’s upsetting and they think they only have to pay me partial. I want all my money back. Make this right ShopRite how dare you embarrass me and my family like that. I trusted you and no one called or texted saying they don’t have the proper machines to make that design because it’s printed on in the picture.couldn’t do that. How dare you embarrass me and my family. oh let’s not forget this was a birthday for a 19yr old not for a 8yr old wanting Batman I never even mentioned anything about putting batman on my cake.i know their mind set was thinking this is for a kid because what 19-year-old is gonna want Batman on her cake. Also at the restaurant the cake slid over in the box and the whole side was ruined.

Clean, lots of selections, good pricing. Lots of staff if you need help. Most times you can get through checkout quickly. Lots of open lines for a quick checkout. We continue to go there to shop. There are more self checkout lanes which could cause delays in the standard lanes. I still notice a little supply chain issues. That has mostly gone away. The bagging is an issue since you have to bring your own. Prices are going up, but that is everywhere. They rearranged some of the store. Things have moved to different locations. Not everything.

They don’t have hand baskets and they only have like 4 small carts. The rest are all big carts. Does anyone use a big cart by choice? And they keep rearranging the store and when they do, it takes forever to find things. They’re never in a place you would guess. It’s really bizarre. Not sure who manages this location but I can’t even shop here anymore.

I’m giving this Shop Rite 1 star and that’s only because the manager on duty was awesome along with the employees that we did run into. With that said The loss prevention guy that was on last night on 11/26 was so unprofessional!!! My sister on ACCIDENT didn’t scan a seasoning that was $$$1.19..we had about 15 items and got a bag. She scanned the $5.00 one and thought she scanned the other one and threw it in the bag. All of a sudden a guy and a police officer comes up behind her and says “mam I work here and you don’t scan something” and the way he said it was like she did it on purpose. And theirs is a cop with him. Then he goes in the bag grabs it and stands there and watches her scan it and pay for it. And then just walks away when she put the money in. Walking out the cop looked at us like” I’m sorry” cause it was just so weird. We get in the car and I’m like woah what just happened… it was a $1.19 seasoning? If he would have just came up and said excuse me I think you forgot to scan something.. ok cool ..That simple. But the way he said it sounded like he assumed out of all items ..she wanted to steal the $1.19 item and be a big criminal. He was obviously watching us!! There were other ppl there, it’s thanksgiving week.. every self checkout was being used. She had both seasonings in her hand scanning. I work a fulltime job. Bust my ass to be able to eat and shop at shop rite. And he has the nerve to bring a cop and make a scene over something that was an accident. I have never in life been more embarrassed. I called the store in the parking lot and the manger was so nice. He knew exactly who I was talking about and he let me know they have their own supervisor and felt so bad. I will be calling corporate today. I’ll never step foot in that store again.

Shop rite, Iike many other markets in our economy is apparently facing difficulty in maintaining stock and keeping their shelf full. Its sister shop rite of laural springs is a much better stocked market. However, Shop Rite is a very popular place in our community, and it is doing its best to serve the needs of the families.

I just had the best ever customer service from the cashier Adele. She congratulated the customer infront of us for saving so much money. She also complimented my wife and she was very kind and patient while we were waiting for a price check, unlike other experiences we had. She deserves a raise!!

This is a very nice, clean store. The employees are very nice. Easy store to navigate.

Excellent place to shop! As massive as this place is, it is well organized and the staff are more than willing to go out of their way to help you find something. The store is very clean and well maintained, even the parking lot. Plenty of everyday items to choose from and there's a veritable cornucopia of fresh made foods. Definitely worth checking out, there's something for everyone!!!!

It's one of the nicer ones, but the plaza is always busy!! I did recently have an issue with a cashier on a visit and the manager was super nice and remedied the situation rather quickly. It is my preferred ShopRite for sure. It's always clean and nicely stocked and though things got congested during their minor renovation it's totally great now!!

One of the good shop rite s I have seen. They have kept it clean and looks good inside. One of the reason I went there (Abt 30 miles from home) is cause they have custom cake designs. Son loved the dinosaur face and it has lot of detail on it. It was a big hit for his birthday party. It's bad that this is the only ShopRite that has this custom design option. You have to book two days in advance so plan accordingly.
