I am extremely frustrated with my experience at the Firestone location in Clementon, NJ. My vehicle was not properly repaired, and I was advised to approve costly work that did not resolve the issue.
I had my car towed there the day after fueling because it would not start and was producing excessive smoke almost immediately after leaving the gas station. At the time, I did not realize I had mistakenly put diesel in the tank. I explained the symptoms as clearly as possible and relied on their diagnosis.
Firestone recommended replacing the fuel pumps, spark plugs, and performing a fuel system cleaning. I approved the work at a cost of roughly $1,800. After the repairs, the vehicle briefly ran, but the spark plugs failed again and the car remained undrivable. I was then advised to replace the fuel injector and fuel tank for an additional $1,600. Given the mounting cost and lack of resolution, I declined further work.
I requested a fuel sample because I still believed contamination could be involved. I was given a sample in a water bottle.
I then brought the vehicle and the sample to another repair facility capable of testing the fuel. After diagnostics and inspection, they informed me that the fuel sample provided to me and the fuel inside my tank did not appear consistent with one another. The fuel in my tank had characteristics consistent with diesel, including an oily consistency and smell. The sample provided by Firestone did not match those characteristics.
To this day, I have not received an explanation from Firestone as to why the two samples appear so different. I have asked both the area and district managers directly and have not been given a clear answer.
Additionally, during the inspection of the fuel pump installed by Firestone, components were found inside the fuel tank and one piece was missing. I have photographs documenting this.
I have direct documentation of the work performed by both shops as well as recorded phone conversations with management. I am continuing to seek reimbursement for repairs that did not correct the issue.
This has been an expensive and stressful experience. I expected accurate diagnostics and competent repairs. That is not what I received.
During my visit, the technician was very attentive to my concerns and worked diligently to troubleshoot, diagnose, and identify the issue with my truck.
I went in with a cracked rear control arm for my suspension. Kyle thr manager and the team took great care of me from start to finish replacing everything at such an affordable cost. They worked with me and for me and I could not have been happier. Highly recommend firestone clementon!
Everyone there is very nice and very informative. Robbie Rob and AD were very kind and patient with us. They explained everything where I could understand and they did the job in record timing. I recommend them highly
The service at this Firestone location has always been great. This has always been a great location for me and my family to get tires for our vehicles. The young woman working at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.
The difficult circumstances surrounding my Christmas Eve tire replacement were skillfully solved by the staff at Firestone Tires. When no one else would help me, your people really stepped up to save the day. So even though it’s just business, I really must commend the staff working on that day. And thank them for their understanding and professional behavior.
I made my appt weeks in advance to get 2 of my tires changed and when I got there they did not have my tires in stock and they did not have well communication with me either which left me to wait 4 hrs for my car and I had to communicate with them on what was going on. I shouldn't of had to wait this long and due to the inconvenience they should of automatically gave me something sort of a discount due to this inconvenience and I didnt have time to complain to the manager about it due to needing to hurry and get to somewhere else before they closed for the day!
I’ve been here twice now, the guy at the desk has been the same each time; very friendly and explains things in ways people who don’t know cars can understand. He’s also very accommodating. I’ll be back bc of him.
Always remember it’s just business. Nobody in this world is concerned about really helping & not get over on people. They did what I paid them to do because it’s their job. They all seemed a little irritated because they had to do their job. But the job was done & no problems so far.
Been to many shops and definitely love the service from everyone at the Firestone here in Blackwood. I live in Pennsylvania and the firestones by my house are rude and didn’t listen to my concerns.I walked in and everyone greeted me. When I explained what I needed and Kyle listened and gave the information I need to feel great about my repair. Wait time was not long at all. 1000% my new shop.
Had an amazing guy at Firestone name Brian he was amazing from the time I spoke to him on the phone until I walked in the door very informative and pleasant to talk to.. oil changed completed.. very good service!
Extremely nice employees and fair prices. They will work with on whatever you need. They were even able to squeeze me in when I made an appointment at the wrong firestone. Great store!
I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and never once had a bad experience, but my best ones are always when Rob is there. He’s seriously the best — super friendly, knowledgeable, and hilarious (which makes a stressful car situation so much easier to deal with).
He’s really down to earth and someone I fully trust with my car. I always leave feeling confident about the work that was done and the prices are always fair, especially for how much work they do and how quickly they get it done. Every single time I’ve been in, they’ve had my car ready the same day, usually within a few hours.
Rob is top-tier! He definitely deserves a raise and honestly should be the face of the company. I’ll keep coming back because of him and the great service every time.

Rob is amazing! I came back a second time for help with a flat tire because of Rob. Rob and the amazing woman that works up front They are both super friendly and kind and service was amazing.
The staff was courteous and personable. I stopped in needing help with flat repair. Two other tire shops were unable to to help me, late in the day on a Saturday. Firestone was able to get it done quickly, while I waited. Would recommend this location if the need ever arises.

The team at this location is awesome. I’ve had some pretty bad luck with tires over the last few months, and these guys have helped me out big time. Customer service is A+.
I recently took my car to this Firestone facility for a repair of a leak somewhere in the brake system, as the master cylinder fluid level was low. After they accomplished an inspection, I was told the cars brake system was fine, however they noticed severely worn Ball Joints. Ok, so I had them do that Front End work. Nice job! Now fast forward 2 weeks ...The brake light came on again, fluid level low. I looked under the hood and almost immediately noticed a leak from the master cylinder. I took the car back and again stated a problem with the brake system. I was surprised when the gentlemen at the front counter (he told me his name but I forgot) said that the brakes master cylinder is not checked during a brake inspection. Really !!! ...Need i say more! Well thanks, but no thanks to future service at this place.

Waited 3 days for them to call me with recommended service. Then told me what tires they picked then waited another day before they were put on. Then picked up car and driver side mat was so dirty. High price slow service and leave car dirty never going back
The young lady that worked in the store. She was sweet and nice to me. She did the best of her ability. I went there because of a warranty on my car. They chose Firestone for me. Since it was close to where I live. I would say stay far away from that place. My car was scratched and I was told. To use fingernail polish remover. But you could feel it was scratched. The guy just walked away. I told him I was videotaping, and I know it was scratched at Firestone. I said have a nice day. All I saw was his back he never even acknowledged. I know on Saturday the 13th. There were two customers in there complaining.. That they’re having issues with their car after service was done. One woman said she was going to reach out to her attorney. Years ago I had a good experience. September 20 25 bad experience sat there for four hours. Then since they could not reach my warranty company. My car was going to be held hostage for the weekend. Because they did the work. It was approved by the warranty company to fix. After four hours, I learned their closed. if I didn’t pay out of pocket. I would’ve had to wait until Monday, September 15, 2025 to get my car back. They don’t have to worry about me again. I did not appreciate the disrespect. He finished talking and just walked away. I end up talking to his back as he kept walking ignorance. I am done. If I’m going to hear back from Firestone. Let it be the corporate office and not him. I have nothing to say to that man ignorant. Must’ve had a bad day Saturday. But don’t take it out on the customer I did nothing to you. I did not proofread this. I got a headache and upset. So please read between the lines. I’m all over the place. this is how I feel raw. The scratch all my car that happened at Firestone. He told me to use fingernail polish remover. I could take my nail and scratch. You could tell it was not something easily to be removed. I felt the grooves of the scratch with my nail indentation. But I’m stupid. OK I get it. I’m done.
Customer service is excellent, I called to ask a question about battery replacement and the young lady had the information on my car pulled up already. When I arrived, the mechanic got right to work, explained the price, and asked if I wanted to move forward.
I just want to share my experience with Firestone located in Blackwood Clementon. The staff is great. From the moment I walked in, I felt like it was a place i could trust with the care of my vehicle. Rob was very nice. I had alot of maintenance that needed to be done with my vehicle. Rob guided me on the most important things that should be completed first.. Overall, the experience so far has been great. I still have some services that need to be completed..Once those services are completed, I will have another review about my full complete experience.. 😊
I gotta hand it to Robert at Firestone—this man has been taking care of me and some of my vehicular and mental chaos for YEARS, and somehow still manages to keep a straight face (most of the time).
Let me take you back to one of my low points: I was stuck on some desolate road, near a farm, possibly in Narnia—I had no idea where I was. I had just run over what turned out to be a utility knife (because OF COURSE I did), and was in full panic mode. Cue the tow truck, cue the tears, cue the existential dread.
Enter: Robert. Calm, collected, and delivering the kind of real-talk that only someone who truly gets it can. He gave me the same no-nonsense advice he’d give his own wife, which somehow managed to be both comforting and hilariously blunt—exactly what I needed. It was like having my own husband on speakerphone...
Fast forward to today: nail in my tire. I walk in expecting a whole thing... but no. Robert and the team had it checked, removed, patched up, whatever they did (FREE) and I was back on the road so fast I barely had time to scroll TikTok in the waiting room. I was SHOCKED and DELIGHTED.
Long story short: I will always go to Firestone for my auto needs, mostly because I trust Robert like I trust GPS. Which is saying a lot, because I really love GPS.

AD was amazing! She was a God sent! She was so helpful as were the rest of the employees at Firestone!! They were very quick, my tire was changed within a half an hour! They were very accommodating! I will be forever grateful for the help I was given in my time of need! God bless you and thank you again!
Went in for new tires. They went above and beyond helping me match size to my custom jeep. Gave me honest feedback about my brake wear and other recommended maintenance. Didn't push extra work on me. Staff was super friendly and service was fast.
