Super helpful employee, Ryan, on a sleepy Sunday morning. I witnessed the staffer being very helpful and patient with an older woman who did not know all the exact details of her vehicle and the staffer suggested what was and was not not an important distinction for the battery that she was about to buy. He went through (and over) all the options, without pushing any particular one. I feel that customer went away happy and well served. I was also well served, offered a stock check for options of the product I was purchasing (other than what was on the shelf) and sent away with a sincere "good day", which I have come to NOT expect from retail staff of a certain age. Somebody trained this guy really well (family or management). He should be commended.
Went in and like always I was treated with respect and Shawn was awesome and checked my battery for me with a tester in freezing cold weather and told me my battery was still good and also checked my cables out for me and made sure that they were tight and secure so i thank you Shawn for your help and God bless you because you are why I will always continue to come back to advance auto parts on brooklawn, your the best Shawn so keep up the great work because people need you and you do make a difference in people's life when they need it.
I went in to make a purchase and one of the "gentlemen" at the counter was talking about how ignorant people from Camden are (I currently reside there).
When ringing me up, he asked for my telephone number to which I politely replied "no thank you." He proceeds to tell a story of how the last guy who declined to give a number "pissed him off". Be better.
This location is horrible !!! The employees treat u as if you’re bothering them it’s happened twice now very little knowledge about cars or trucks and the store needs some TLC dirty floors shelves cluttered it’s like they just don’t care !!
Naturally, because it's a Sunday AND Mother's Day, my mom's car battery was dead. I jumped her car and took her right to Advanced Auto Parts. They had a battery in stock for her car, but it was an incredibly difficult installation. Ryan was so polite, helpful, and patient (my mom didn't know some info about her car). His coworker assisted by finding a shimb to fit my mom's battery. They provided an overall excellent experience to us, helping make the day less stressful and getting us on our way.
I am most appreciative of Amy’s help. She kindly zip tied my front license plate to the grill of my car, which I greatly appreciate, there was no place to screw it on. She saved me a mechanic visit and her affixing the plate worked great when my car passed inspection later that day! I am most appreciative to her for her help!
Went in for a battery for my vehicle and the manager, Amy, was so helpful and knowledgeable. She made sure I got the right battery and even offered to install the battery for me if I brought the vehicle over. I can not say enough on how nice and helpful she was.
Very helpful I thought my starter was going bad on my car. Advance auto had the best price for this part but before I purchased a starter they ran a test to make sure that's what I needed and here it was my battery starting to wear out. Saved me a lot of time and aggravation. They installed the battery right on the spot no charge and no charge for the test. The manager even came out and helped with the insulation.
After going to another auto parts store(that start with a). And waiting for help for 10 minutes with no one showing up I decided to leave. But as soon as I walked in Advanced a young lady help me and I was out in 10 minutes with the parts I needed. Not a plug just the truth.
My part came in just as they promised. They even replaced my old wiper blades on my Benz. Great Job to the manager and lady tech. Thank you so much!!!!
I called at 8:15 on a Friday night inquiring about a new battery for my mom's car. Jimmy answered and found an affordable battery for her and then said he would be happy to put it in that night even though they closed at 9. When we got there he had the battery ready to go. After helping a few customers he still put her battery in even though it was so close to closing. Jimmy really made our experience so easy, especially for my mother who is in her 70s.
Me and my wife Came in today looking for some brake pads and the guy James and Stephen were EXTREMELY nice and helpful!!!! I had called the store prior to coming in and they held the item up front for my convenience. Best customer service I’ve had all year! I will definitely be coming back when I need more car parts! These guys need a raise ASAP because they represent the company very well!!
Rude customer service at only this one location I am happy with most locations but brooklawn is by far the worst. I hope that location changes management or closes.
I went to get a free battery and alternator test, the associate used a multi-meter and said they both needed replacement. Next day went back different associate and he used a different device which gave me a printout that said everything was good, battery only needed to be charged which they do for free. So I cancelled my order for new battery and alternator. So I have lost some trust. They also said the O2 sensor I needed cost $185.99 there was no economical O2 sensor I could buy.
This place is the WORST! Absolutely useless! 2 LAZY employees were there telling me it takes 30-45 min to pop in a new battery and refused to help me when they had atleast 30 minutes left in there shift til closing with NO customers so i LEFT and it took the guy at Autozone to do it in less than 10 minutes! These guys here could care less if your car keeps breaking down and in need of a new battery AND especially when Im a first responder! You lost my business forever.
Went in at 6:20pm on 12/19/2018 and a young guy with glasses is leaning up on the counter nice and comfortably with his cell phone in his hand. Im the only customer in there and I asked him after saying hello, about getting my car battery tested because I think I will need a new one. He then looks around and stutters as if he was thibking about what he should say, and then tells me that they normally dont do testing after 6 o'clock!!!! Are you kidding me!!!! I told him I will now take my business else where!!!! Unbelievable!!!... Hope someone does something about this! I hear a lot about this location and its not good! I ended up going to the Woodbury location and had Tyler and Jess help me, to remind you, it was now 6:50pm!!!
The guy who was behind the counter seemed like I was a bother as if I walked in his house and sat at his dinner table and served myself his dinner hey guess what I'm a paying customer not an uninvited guest at ur home please pay customers more attention
Every time ive been there all employees are professional ,and nolegable ,and they used the computer like a pro,and i know if they are knowing what they are talking about when it comes to automobiles anyway all in all good place
The store itself is your typical Advance auto parts store but the one thing that sets this particular store apart from the others? Experienced people that care about customer's vehicular issues and needs. The employees here really proved that they know their stuff and will help the customer with both parts and the know-how to get you back on the road quickly, without all of the guesswork. Great job!
