the receptionist is very grumpy and rude. tried calling 30+ times. was talking to her I have a parking permit on the car she pulled the phone away and laughed with her driver then said $225 we open at 9am to release cars and hung up while I was talking. they tow everyone’s car from my complex ILLEGALLY say they can’t check plates due to privacy law when our plates are connected to permits for parking. so anyone can make fake parking permits and say they live here and park wherever as a heads up. what tops the cake is you tow private property but can’t check plates? you couldn’t take a couple minutes to see if my permit fell in plain sight. will be reporting to their license company

This is run by bottom-feeders scumbags and low-lives. They drive around our apartment complex, preying on rental cars or tinted cars so they can say they didn’t see the parking pass since it’s an easy cash grab. Absolutely disgraceful.

Car got towed by them from Autum Ridge... they have a contract with the complex, and yet they don't discount for me being a resident and my placard falling. Google says there open but no one answers the phone. I live in the complex it's towed from. The main office has all my information on file, why won't the towing company work with the main office so residence don't get towed, I know why it's all about the money. People make mistakes by leaving tags or forgetting I guess no mistake goes unpunished. Can't wait to move out of this complex so I can be done with both of them.

Foul Mouth Thieves That Take Advantage of The Disabled There are other 1 star reviews that describe the tow truck drivers as verbally abrasive towards customers; as well as, multiple reports from other customers reporting items missing from their vehicles. Please read their reviews too. I live in a condo complex that has a towing contract with this company. I was ruled completely disabled by the government in 2013 and the condo board approved a handicap parking spot in front of my unit. My car has been parked in the same spot for around 10 years. One night I forgot to put up my handicap placard and condo parking sticker, when I woke up the next morning my car was towed. The office manager from Coles Towing said my car was towed because it was illegally parked in a handicap spot. Once I was able to get into my car and show the office manager my handicap parking placard and condo parking pass, it was pointed out to her that the numbers on my handicap placard match the numbers on the handicap parking spot. The office manager still asked for the full payment of $225. If she had only asked for a portion of the payment to cover gas and loss of their time, then I would not be writing this review. This is not the first time I forgot to put up my handicap placard, and I received a ticket from the police. However, when I went to municipal court the ticket was dropped because I provided proof of my handicap placard. I am asking this question to those that have 3rd party contracts with this company. Do you want to be in business with this type of company? Do you want to be associated with people who put money and greed before everything else? If they are willing to take advantage of a disabled person, then what are they willing to do to you?

HMMMM, Coles Towing. Lets just say NOOOO. We live at Autumn Ridge Apartments in Blackwood NJ. We have parking permits that hang from our windshields in our vehicles to show that we live there and for them not to tow us!! Welll, this morning as always I left for work before my Fiance, and come to find out her car is MISSING!!!!!! We call the police to say its either been stolen or wrongfully towed. I got the towing yard information from GTPD and called to see if they have it or not. Jen on the voicemail would not answer the phone even though google said they were open. Finally she answers and confirms they have our vehicle. She said she could not tell if the permit was there or not and that we would have to wait until 9 am until they open. By this time we were both VERY late for work and had to impatiently wait and wonder. Anyway, we went to the yard and found a girl smoking in our face but understanding of the situation. She gladly walked us back to the yard and called Jen to confirm, and I quote " Jen its clear as day in the windshield, I don't know what the driver was thinking" After a few minutes they confirmed we can take the car at no cost as it was wrongly towed. I told them that the driver needs to open their eyes and use a flashlight and not just snatch the vehicles. VERY POOR SERVICE AND UNFORTUNATE SITUATION BEING WE HAD TO MISS HOURS OF WORK FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT OUR FAULT. COLES TOWING, PLEASE USE CAUTION IN THE FUTURE.

My boyfriend and I slept at my sisters house in autumn ridge apartments in Blackwood on 12/30/2021 we woke up on the 31st to our vehicles being towed due to us not parking in guest parking. Which is understandable. However my bf noticed all his credit cards/debit card and our baby shower gift cards were missing. Plus 2 pair of his sneakers were gone as well. We reached out to the owner she said the driver said he didn’t do it. We decided to leave it alone. A couple days later my boyfriend was looking for his airpods and noticed they were missing. He checked the location and the AirPods were in the tow truck drivers house. The driver used my bf cards to fill up his trucks and also took from my newborn. I don’t recommend them and they are not to be trusted. This particular company is on coles rd in Blackwood. Police has been called and it’s been a long process. I just hope and pray Karma takes care of this driver.

In 25degree weather they took my car . Standing in the cold pregnant, with my 2 year old for $200. I begged that man to let me get my car. My car was in a parking spot. Parking pass or not . With my officer tags on the car. This business is grimy low and dirty. Heartless. Soulless really. Wouldn’t have hurt them to give me my car . I live 45 minutes away. Pregnant with a toddler. This business thrives on the ruining of people’s day. Shame on you.

First I want to say I tried to contact via email, but there is no email listed. Overall the response time was great. The issue I had was that my wife had a flat tire at home while I was at work. When the tech showed up he prepped the car to have the front wheel swapped for the spare, but he could not get the jack high enough. He then lowered the car back down on the flat tire and filled it up with air. He then proceeded to tell my wife “ this will get you to the shop.” When the tech left my wife moved the car back in the drive way where she heard the tire leaking air again. Just wanted to let the owner know this because sometimes these things don’t reach the people who need to hear it. Thank you, Tom M

Worst experience ever. Tow truck driver was supposed to take my truck to the dealership, but took it back to their lot instead. They wanted to charge me a storage fee. My insurance company connected me via phone to the towing company dispatcher (jess) and she unloaded on me from the point of "hello". She claimed that the tow truck driver told my daughter everything that was happening and she agreed. I explained to her that the driver actually spoke with me on my daughters phone and told me that he would call me back before he made any decisions to take back to the lot or to the dealership. He did not. She told me she would not take to the dealership in the morning and that I would have to find another towing company to pick up from her lot. She said I had too much of an attitude. She told me that! They pick a fight with people in order to get out of doing the right thing. Not professional at all.

My name is Eric Miller, and this Towing Company had my car towed from a parking spot where I had a legal right to be parked. Sometime on January 28th or January 29th, my vehicle was towed by Coles Road Transportation Services and Towing. Initially, when I realized my car was missing, I reported the car stolen. When the Winslow Township Police Department showed up I filed a police report. The car was equipped with LoJack, so the LoJack was activated and my car was located. When the police called me back, they informed me that the vehicle had been towed. When I spoke with the receptionist with Coles Road Towing, I informed her that she was, in fact, in possession of a stolen vehicle, and when I demanded my vehicle back, she informed me that I would have to go to through the police in order to obtain my vehicle. My car was towed from the parking lot where I live. The fee, for one day of towing is in excess of $250.00 dollars, and when I attempted to secure my vehicle the company offered me now way to procure my car. No doubt this is so the company can jack up and artificially inflate their storage fees. Currently, the company is still in possession of a stolen vehicle. And I am requesting that, in lieu of this egregious behavior, that their towing license be suspended and/or revoked. And that my car be immediately returned to me at no cost to myself.

I spent about 2 and a half hours in the cold waiting for my insurance company to send someone out to help me. Coles road transportation picked up the call and was there with in the time frame they said they would be. They even took my truck and me back to Delaware to my repair shop. The owner and driver where very nice and pleasant. This place is top notch in my book and if I ever need a tow in Jersey again I will call them first. Thank you again !!!!!!!

Excellent service from start to finish. Driver Thomas Kopaz called to confirm pick up location, and again when close by. Thomas arrived fast and was friendly and efficient. Very respectful of my vehicle and mannerly with me. I will recommend Coles Road Transportation to friends and family. This easy towing experience helped with a stressful breakdown on the side of the road.

My insurance company called them when my car wouldn’t start. I was afraid my starter wasn’t working or was electric issues, but the guy came asked to start my car, and he determined it was just the battery. So he jumped my car and I was alive to drive it to the shop to get a new battery. Very professional and very fast. They were there and gone within half an hour of my contacting my insurance company.

My Allstate Roadside service sent these guys out. They sent me a text saying 25 minutes. They arrived in 10 minutes! Jumped my car and gave me some tips. I'm going to try their shop if my jeep needs work. Highly recommend.

Great service! I called Coles Service today because I had a flat tire. They lady that answered the phone was very polite. She told me about the fees and that they would arrive within 20 minutes. I called them at 9:19am. They were at my home by 9:30am. The technician was very courteous & told me about the restrictions on driving on the donut and replacing the tire. I am very pleased with the service I got today and would highly recommend them.

My car lost power on the night of 11/14 and I was stranded by the side of 76 east after you cross the WW bridge into NJ. It was a dangerous area with cars passing by at high speeds so I immediately searched the internet and found Coles Road Transportation service about 10 miles away. They dispatched drive John G. who called me within 5 minutes to get directions and John arrived within 20 - 25 minutes. He got the car on his trailer very quickly and then gave me tow to Holman Ford in Williamstown NJ, where we parked my car for service. Their service was fast and professional and I had a very good experience. Tony

I spoke to Kim and she was super helpful. I asked if the driver can let me know if the car was where it was supposed to be (long story) and the driver called....told me the car was there...checked for the keys and said all is good! REALLY put me at ease! I will definitely use them again!

Worse customer service experience ever!!!! Driver called us up screaming at us where the F*** are you at!! I’m here wherethe F*** are you. While trying to determine where the driver could be because the street runs through 3 towns so the numbers can be confusing he hung up on us. When I called the office to try to resolve the dispatch was just as rude and unprofessional and stated he doubted his driver would act like that. Why would you doubt it if you can’t be professional. Would never use them and complained to my insurance company Response to owners response - It’s all in how you treat customers and past reviews speak to this as well. It was a simple matter that could have been easily cleared up if both your driver and yourself knew how to speak to people. I know the address and nothing needs to be cleared up with usps. It was the mistake of the insurance company who put in the incorrect zip when dispatching you. Again which could have easily been corrected as mistakes happens. As I stated above the road runs through 3 towns and in one area it’s one town on one side and a different town on the other. Also the numbers don’t run numerically and since we have both worked there for the past 8 years know it can be difficult to locate which is why I attempted to call and dealt with the same unprofessionalism. The last thing you do is call your customer yelling where the F*** are you at! My son had every right to hang up on him because your not the only company around and definitely wouldn’t be a choice I would ever choose again!!! It cost nothing to be nice to your customers!

Called for a tow, the estimated time of arrival was 12:50. The driver called me before he arrived and I let him know I was not with my vehicle but would be there at 12:50. The driver got to the car 10 minutes earlier than that, and decided to leave and take another job. I tried calling him back with no answer, and had to wait for another company to tow. I understand my roadside assistance was partly to blame giving me an ETA that was not accurate, however communication could have been better.

Rich (?) came to my rescue at 7:15 AM yesterday, in the rain, after I blew a tire on one of Rt 42's many potholes. He was very professional, kind and got my tire changed out quickly, with a few valuable words of advice from him I was on my way. Thanks so much, you have an exemplary employee and I would recommend your services to anyone.

I have Dodge roadside assistance. I reported the flat tire on my car at 3am and the tow truck got there 340am. Once on scene they told me that they were dispatched to change a tire, not tow the car. I didn't have a spare so they said that they couldn't tow me because that's not what they were called for (even thought the truck was empty). They also told me I needed to call a ride and couldn't go with them to the dealership where they were taking my car for repairs. I was in a construction zone on Hwy 295 and they expected me to stand there with no shoulder till I got a ride... They said they would ask disp. if they could give me a ride and went to there truck. I started to pack the sealant pump and they just left. Dodge told me if I got a ride from a friend I could leave my keys in the car. I got a ride at 600am and the tow truck pulled up. They asked me to sign a paper and got back in the truck and left with my vehicle. All of the sudden the driver and there disp center keep calling me (13 times) telling me I have to FOLLOW them to the dealer (which dodge said I didn't have to and they didn't tell me while there) so I said "no, after you left me on the side of the road for almost 3 hours you can take it yourself" The 2 drivers then called me later from a Private number cursing me out.... Not professional at all. They don't care about the satisfaction or safety of the customer. LESS than one star....

My car wouldn't turn on and wouldn't start, my key was stuck in the ignition and I was beyond frustrated. I called for a tow and Coles Road Transportation was sent out. They arrived ahead of the designated time and my tow driver Christy was wonderful and knowledgeable. She hooked my SUV with little problems and took the vehicle as well as myself and my kids to Philadelphia. It was such a pleasure and I'm beyond happy with the service. Thank you so much Coles Road. Especially you, Christy.

Would not recommend this company. Would rather push my car to the dealership. My roadside assistance chose this company for my tow. Originally, the text said they would arrive within 30 minutes. My roadside assistance asked if I was staying with the car or leaving it. I chose to stay, because 30 minutes isn't a big deal. Shortly after I received an update and phone call stating it would be an hour and thirty minute wait. I called Coles to see if I could leave the car and where I should leave the keys. Well, whomever I spoke with (supposedly the owner) was VERY rude. Said I could not leave the car. Security did not like them driving around parking lots towing cars and that they may not be able to find my car if I'm not there. That was pretty comical in my opinion. 'McDonalds Security' giving a tow company a hard time. Then says he NEVER said it would take 90 minutes, HE PUT IN 60 minutes, so he didn't know where that came from. Like I would make up longer times or something. He continued to be rude and I called him out on it, then hung up. I was going to call my roadside assistance back and ask for a new company, but decided to wait it out. Tow truck called me over an hour later and said he was sent to wrong location with GPS. I told driver it was probably a set up because I had an argument on the phone with the dispatcher. Tow did not arrive until TWO hours later from initial contact with rude owner. Gentlemen in the tow truck were friendly and apologetic. I told them how unhappy I was with the person I spoke to on the phone and I would be placing a complaint. When I went to pick up my car at the dealership, there was a large grease stain on the driver's side door, which was most likely from tow truck driver. I asked dealership if it was from their guy, but I saw mechanic and he was clean in clothing and hands. My interior is beige, so it was noticeable. Luckily, dealership took it to detail and they did their best to get it out. PLEASE, PLEASE AVOID USING THIS TOW COMPANY IF POSSIBLE. I am a calm person with great people skills and this owner should not have ANY CONTANT with customers.

Christie was very professional and courteous. She explained everything as she towed my car and talked to me as we drove to the dealership. I will say the only negative experience that I had was calling the company to inquire as to how much longer I would have to wait for the truck to come because Jen answered the phone and was very very impatient and in a rush to get me off of the phone. But overall because of how nice it was to tag along with Christie and how generous she was to talk to me the whole time, I would be inclined to use their services again just for another chance to talk. All the best to Christie and thank you for making this experience of towing my vehicle a little less painful!

It took a while for flatbed to arrive but no longer than what was promised. I'm sure they're busy most of the time so I was happy they could help me. The driver was incredibly pleasant and kind. He drove me in his truck to my dealer where he dropped off me and my car. I left something in his truck so I called their office and the lady who answered was extremely pleasant. She helped me locate my property and even offered to meet me with it. Really no complaints. Good company, good service, and even better people.

Well I'm still sitting in my car in this 95 degree weather, waiting for a tow truck from here, like I have been for the past 2 hours on the side of the road. I used my ATT Roadside Assistance and they told me on the phone it would be 30-45 minutes. After the first hour I called and they said that the tow truck blew some sort of valve and had to go back and send me another phone. It's been another hour since then and still no tow truck. So I googled the business and read the other reviews and everything made sense. Do not use Coles for anything, you're better off pushing your car in neutral backwards to Mars, you'd get there sooner then their tow truck would get to you.

The worst tow truck company I have ever encountered. This business caused me property damage and refused to come over to see the damage let alone fix it or attempt to fix it. My neighbor contacted this company for towing services and when the truck was dropping the neighbor's car the hydraulic pump broke causing hydraulic fluid to spill all over the street, driveway and the back of my car. The neighbor contacted me immediatley after it occurred. After several phone calls to the owner she neglected to take responsibility and and refused to fix my property and made me feel as if I was lying about the damages. She wouldn't even pay for a car wash to get the oil off of the car. Please remember that you will need me before I need you. This is definitely not the way you will attain new customers. Not only will I EVER not utilize your business I will be calling AAA to ensure that if I ever needed towing services they do not send your company to me. Bad business!!!!!
