Didn't diagnose my problem correctly, missed a bunch of stuff needed to be done to my car. Spent 600 dollars on something that didnt even need to be fixed. Never go to pepboys for a check engine light. They didnt even write the correct mileage on my oil change sticker. Went to my local mechanic, fixed the problem plus more. Don't make the same mistake I did. Had my car here for 3 days. Car was only at my local chop for a day and the problem was fixed.

Came here for maintenance after my 10+ year old car started struggling in the severe cold. Routine battery, oil and tires. Excellent, competent service and my car is running exactly as she’s supposed to. Special shout-out to Dana, whose accommodating and superb customer service exceeded expectations. His handling of my initial call to inquire about pricing and availability was the reason I chose to book here. From start to finish, I felt completely comfortable that my car was in the right hands. Can’t say enough good things- this location just gained a new loyal customer.

Took 5 days to even look at the car when they said they could look at it before the storm. On day 5 called and they said they would look at it that day since the mechanic was in on that day. Never called so had to call them before close and had no info on it for day 5. Next day told us what was wrong and told us 2 different prices, one for the staring repair and a diagnostic to start with what’s wrong with the car, now what we didn’t know is that they already ran one. So we paid for 2 diagnostic we didn’t ask for and gave us a hard time with paying over $100 extra for it running it to almost $300 when it was supposed to be $100 like Nicolas said with nothing being done to it. Only decent person there was the receptionist who was kind and understanding, he kept having to deal with the lack of communication between the mechanics and customers and get the hard part of it. He kept trying to contact Nicolas to even get an update on the car us.

Quoted a price on phone to replace battery on my car after it died. Dropped it off and 15 mins later got a call and was told the price was $250 more than quoted because it was hard to replace the battery on this model car. I pointed out that I told them the model when I called originally and they double checked they could get the battery for the car. They put me on a long hold presumably to discuss w manager and then told me they would honor the price. An hour later, get another call and told that they will not honor the price and offering a 10 percent discount off the price that was twice as much, which would have been $480 instead of the $280 they originally quoted. Went to pick up the car and now will have to go to my regular mechanic tomorrow after wasting a bunch of time today. Extremely unprofessional and do not recommend.

I was very pleased with the customer care service I received at this pep boys location as well as my vehicle repairs. The employee Dana made my decisions very easy to make because he was caring and explanatory.

took kids car in for tires, they totally screwed up where to install and rotate 2 new tires ... then i was dumb enough to take my truck in for a tire patch, not a plug ... waited 2 hours and paid for a patch... 2 days later the tire went flat because they installed a plug ... they said after the fact WE DONT DO PATCHES JUST PLUGS ....friday after xmas i had an emergency, my fuel filter itself was leaking .. i bought a new one and drove there because was on my way home , with a smurk the idiot told me over 200.00 to install it.... jiffy lube in audubon took care of my emergency for under 50... took him 15 min ... worst service ever at audubon pep boys ...

Pep boys in Audubon has been good the few times I've been there. Nick has given me good advice on how to maintain your vehicle if it's getting older which mine is and are good on getting your car in and out and done right.

I made a appointment at 2 PM and my car wasn't done until 6 PM. My car wasn't even in the garage until 2 PM and I only had 4 new tires put on and they didn't even do the free,top off fluids inspection. If you want to wait along time just sitting for hours then go there. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this Audubon Pepboys.

The young lady is very friendly and polite, I asked for two tires, and not only the price were affordable but super great! I went to so many places and prices were sky high. Glad I came here to Pep Boys!

I had a great experience here. Car issues are never fun but they really helped me feel comfortable, and Nick went above and beyond! I feel safe driving my car now. Thank you guys!

made an appointment for 11am on a Sunday and dropped it off. didn't even get an update/diagnosis until they were about to close 7 hours later. no work was done, just a diagnosis 7 hours later. if you can't honor appointment times then don't offer them. If I knew I'd have had to wait till the next day for any work to be done, I'd never have taken car to a pep boys in the first place. not to mention they billed me $110 for the pleasure, no work on the car was done nor any payments authorized

Took my wife’s car to be serviced as check engine light was on. Went Saturday morning and was told there was no availability even though all appointment times open in a row 10:30 am - 5 pm. Person at desk said to come back tomorrow at 10:30 am and a tech will be able to take a look. Made an appointment for 10:30 am. Arrived the following day and was told the tech was finishing a “big job” and then will be right on my wife’s car. The person at the desk said they would call after diagnostic before touching the car. At 5 PM, I went back and retrieved the car after still not receiving a call or any information. They had not even looked at the car yet, still sitting in the lot exactly where I left it. Wanted to try and have an answer by the end of the weekend so my wife could take the car to work on Monday. Would not recommend this place, seems poorly run. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Always Courteous customer service, the online appointment system may not reflect what is actually available, meaning prepare to wait and wait for your turn even if you have an appointment. Call the store if you can, be prepared to wait several minutes before someone picks up. I did not have an appointment, but walked in beucase I urgently needed a battery. Disappointed there was only one in stock that fit my vehicle, it was over $220. I did not have time to shop around to compare prices. I did not have to wait long on that early weekday evening.

Bought their brand tires in 2 months one had to be changed and 4 times need to be fixed might be luck but never again, appoints doesn’t work there, so to fix a one it could be 2 or 3 hours

I cannot express how happy I am with my experience here today. Bob and his team were very helpful and I’m so happy I found a reliable place to take my car when I need to get serviced. I was in and out within an hour and half which made a terrible car situation into a positive and helpful experience.

I will never take my car to Pep Boys in Audobon NJ ever again. After blowing a tire leaving the airport in philly and having to sit in the side of the road for over 5 and a half hours waiting on a tow, get towed to Pepboys and had to wait in my car for 2 hours for them to open,the service guy barely wanted to help me when I came inside. I got inside at the height of them opening. I was told that they could take a look at the car that afternoon. Thank God for having my uncle with me, who came to give me and my mother a ride back home. He asked the guy if he could at least go look at the vehicle to make sure they could even repair it and give an estimate for the tire. Guy seemed a little annoyed but he did it. He didnt have the tire but said he could order it and it would be in Tuesday (Im there on a Saturday). Tueaday comes and most of the day went by without anyone calling me. I eventually called them and was told to give them an hour or 2 and the car would be ready. when I got my car back, I get inside and drive out of the parking lot and the TPM came on right away saying that the tire they just repaired had low air. I reset it on the dash and drove it a little further down the street but the indicator kept coming on so i called back to the shop. Instead of asking me to leave the car so that they could address the issue I was told to bring it back the next day. I live over an hour from this location which i explained to the service tech over the phone. I was told to take it to a Pep Boys by me. Meaning I had to drive my car all the way back home in an unsafe manor. Pep Boys in Toms River told me that whoever replaced my tire never addressed the dented rim issue that happened when the tire blew and just slapped the tire on over a bad rim. There was air leaking from the side of the rim that was dented. A 400 dollar Pirelli tire mind you! You put a 400 dollar pirelli tire over a damaged rim and said nothing! Now I have to take my car to dent masters to see if they can fix the problem that PepBoys never told me I had nor addressed. They cost me time and money. They will never get my business again. I do appreciate Toms River PepBoys for trying to help as much as they could, stopping the leak from the side of the rim and giving me recommendations on where to take it for repair.

Typical experience for me as a young woman. As soon as you walk in by yourself, you can literally see their eyes light up with dollar signs because I am obviously brainless... Do better. If you're going to lie to try and sell things, at least choose something that actually has some wear on it. Ladies beware.

I usually don't go to big chain auto shops like this but I was in a pinch, and they're open late so I made an appointment, and was pleasantly surprised. Really helpful at the front desk, guys didn't make me feel inferior for being a woman like most mechanics do. They helped me with a pre-purchase inspection and gave me advice on a used car.

Be careful with these people. I took my wife’s car in for an oil change and when I got home, I noticed it was leaking all the oil. The next morning, I looked under the car and saw they had left the cap half open, so I decided to take it back to them. They wanted to charge me again for the service and exaggerated the problem, saying it was a leak affecting other parts. Don’t fall for this game. On top of that, their prices are extremely high — $116 for an oil change.

The gentleman that worked on my vehicle was polite and got the job done quickly. I spoke with the manager to let him know how happy I was with the service and he too was polite and thanked me for the feedback. I definitely recommend the Pep Boys in Audubon on Black Horse Pike for your automobile needs.

Please take any valuables out of your car before leaving it. Cologne and a lot of change was taken. Staff said the cameras would be reviewed and someone would call. It's been over 2 weeks--no call. I took my car there to have the exhaust looked at. A lot of other issues were "found" to tune of $4200. My warranty didn't cover so I took it to another shop. No issues other than the exhaust. Repair was $265.

This is my second experience with the crew in Audubon. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I was greeted with a smile and service was excellent from too to bottom. I was given feedback on how to get my car back on the road safely. It was great enough for me to come back and continue getting services and regular checks from this location. Thanks guys!

My husband took my car into to his mechanic to get brakes. While there they did a full car inspection to see if there was anything else wrong with the car, as they should so they can upsell him but found nothing but my fog light or head light needed to be replaced. Cool. Done. I have a road trip planned so I took the car to Midas for an oil change this past Saturday (one week after hubby’s trip to the mechanic) and they also do a full car inspection and told me all of my tires are shot! Said it’s not safe for me to do a road trip. Said that although I have plenty of tread, in-between the treads I have deep cracks! So he proceeds to try to sell me new tires that range from $600-800. I just got this car for Christmas so I was appalled but also, very concerned because this is urgent. Can’t get on the road and risk our lives! But an $800 bill out the blue required me to “sleep on it.” So I told him, I’ll circle back with them in few days. I get home and I tell hubby the deal and lo and behold, my husband didn’t go to his own mechanic. He actually went to Midas simply because it’s nearby. We compared receipts and saw that we had gone to the SAME Midas, and had the SAME service person who did the SAME full inspection to the SAME CAR. But with my MALE spouse, he didn’t find anything wrong with my tires. And mind you, they had to remove the tires to give me the new front brakes! With me, a FEMALE, he claims my exact same tires are hazardous! So here’s a photo of them. Anyone see “deep cracks between the treads?” Nope. 👎 The way these mechanics take advantage of women is criminal.

Audubon Pep Boys did an amazing job helping me out in a crunch. I’ve gotten tickets before for having turn signals out. My signal went out today/ didn’t want another ticket.. stopped at Pep Boys with the hope I could get a new turn signal in 30 minutes… wasn’t very hopeful…Nick and Joe surprised me.. they were friendly, courteous and went out of their way to hook me up with a new turn signal/ in less then 30 minutes.. thx you guys… satisfied customer from Mt Laurel

Pepboys is my go to for all my service needs.. I bring my private and business vehicles here only. I followed Mgr Peter from maple shades location to here. This man is supper professional communicates well up front and extremely helpful prompt Pete is a people person that hat will make a bad day better his personality is A-1 I appreciate him and the friendly staff where ever he is. Lastly : I’m about to mention the customer experience in this location / Audubon area it’s in need of a few updates. The paint nasty! the chairs nasty! The area is uninviting to say the least. Where is the coffee maker? /vending machine? Where is the rest rooms? I fell grossed out sitting in this location as a woman opposed to the maple shades location it was nice done right 👍🏽. It felt the customer is being considered while we wait. That location did that for me. I’d like to stress that this criticism is in no way reflected on the staff or Peter he just got here it’s been this way. Once I heard he moved to this location so did I with Peter as mgr Im assured continued great services at an affordable price👍🏽 coming to Pepe boys. when I’m returned my vehicles the feeling of peace and safety has me driving with confidence…. Stay Away! Had an oil change here and due to filter not being secured, it fell off on the highway and we now need a new engine! ($8,000+). After a week of trying to speak with the manager, we finally connected and he refused to take responsibility. UPDATE: I spent the money to replace our engine.. we have yet to get reimbursed...
