got yelled at for “taking pictures” but i was trying to scan their QR code to see about the membership lol. if you don’t want any phones out, then don’t have QR codes on all over your posters? also don’t yell at your customers over something you’re just assuming????

Greedwill employees picking good clothes in the back to list them on their website for crazy amounts. All you can find here now is literally leftover trash. Everything is either stained, ripped, or defective. You leave with 2-3 pieces of clothes that you can actually wear if you are lucky. This place used to be amazing but Greedwill and trashy people ruined it!

Poorly-run Goodwill outlet location. Cleanliness is not maintained and some staff are dismissive and rude. Bin releases are like a war zone, thought employees stress that customers are to be respectful. Low quality items, long lines for checkout, and an experience that left an impression that this location isn’t worth returning to.

This place gets worse and worse every year/every new manager that comes. The bins turn every 2hrs now because they claim they are having staff issues. Then when they finally bring out new inventory its trash. & we get threatened by management that they will prolong the new bins if we do one thing wrong. Find a new place to donate to, because this place is total garbage.

Its a great place to drop off donations but very sad to see customers looking through the bins in the back in total silence. Very eerie....sorry it is.

What a strange place. You walk in to the smell of insecticide. People sitting on the floor eating. Everything is just thrown into bins or on shelves. Most of the stuff in the bins is filthy, the stuff on the shelves is mostly broken or complete junk except for some glassware. No furniture, CDs, or framed decorations on display, even though they are taking them in as donations. Hardly any electronics except for the 50 broken vacuums . I'm sure there's a very small chance of finding something good, but I'll pass.

Worst location I ever been to really nasty and rude to the customers talking about them right in front of them to employees and yelling at people for not having a label time on when they open or close properly and disorganized and chaotic It takes 45 minutes to even get you the cashier due to only one employee being a cashier wow there's 20 other employees on the floor diddly-daddling Will not come to this location anymore

Attempted to buy a lot of Pokemon cards on their online auction where they described it having “many sealed boxes” along with obvious loose cards they had shown. Got it in today and they are in fact all opened and filled with loose cards. Every single one of the 14 “sealed boxes”. Lesson learned, but buyer beware that they will obviously lie about the item they’re selling and being as it’s “no returns, no refunds” it still ends up in their favor.

It looks like as long as you're friends with the people who work there, they look the other way for everything - even let you leave the store without paying. I was surprised that this location does not have a security guard at the front (in NY, there is a security guard), since I've seen people just walk out with their bags full or in the rolling carts by walking out when its busy or the entrance way. It's disappointing that there's favoritism, so its a lost cause as these same people also just grab everything so there's nothing remaining for others who are shopping. I hope this is looked into.

My husband enjoys thrifting and we have come here often. We never got into the whole lining-up routine but always enjoyed looking through the bins and we often found unique items. But the changes that have been instituted since we were last here have not been positive. They have walled off the area where you used to get carts as a donation-sorting room and removed the sales cases. But the place looks more dirty and disorganized than ever and the quality of the items has gotten worse. The main problem we had encountered before was that there was only one cashier. There is still only one cashier.

that was the most bizarre drifting experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. They make you line up like animals and they give you a speech and you can only choose from bins that are not organized. It’s like a jail. It’s so bizarre.

I was told last month I could drop off in the back today they wouldn't let me 4 bags of designer clothes all cleaned and folded -usually few times a year -i wear a back brace the woman was nasty I Will never donate again - I threw everything in garbage some of the things still had original price tags on them no place to park I Will never ever

I came here(probably like a lot of people) expecting to find some good brands. It was a lot of junk like Walmart, kohl's and target brands. I found a few pieces, not very exciting. They brought out the new bins and I thought that this is where I may finally find some good brand names.. wrong.. it was the same junk as in the bins that were already out. It takes them forever to bring out the new bins and there are a couple of employees that seem to love the power trip of yelling at people waiting for them to finish. The worst part is they have to announce their 'rules' every time they bring out a new rotation in english and then Spanish like they are talking to stupid children. The speech goes on for about 10 minutes. It's just rude and condescending. Post the rules on the wall and treat your customers with respect not like criminals. I would go to another location, this place had nothing good to offer. Also, 1 employee to check everyone out, so bring a book.. you will be on line for a while. While I was waiting on line an employee went to the front of the line and purchased a Hermes blanket that she found in the back storage area. That just seems wrong that employees can pick out what they want while they leave everyone else digging for scraps.

Absolutely Disgusting and Unsafe! This Goodwill is a complete disgrace. The store is filthy from the moment you walk in — floors covered in trash, clothes thrown in piles, and a horrible smell that hits you immediately. Nothing is organized, and it honestly looks like no one has cleaned in weeks. The worst part? Employees were coughing directly into the clothing racks and handling items right after without even washing their hands. That is beyond unacceptable and completely unsanitary. I felt unsafe being there with my children — the environment was dirty, chaotic, and uncomfortable. It’s shocking that a place like this is even open to the public. I walked out almost immediately. Management needs to be investigated, because this is not a store — it’s a health hazard. It looks like a homeless shelter.

I’m pissed! I have been shopping there at least four times a week for the past two years. I have had wonderful experiences and great luck finding wares to sell on eBay. However, in the last two weeks, they stopped putting housewares in bins. Instead, they lined the perimeter of the room with metal racks full of broken items, open boxes, things with missing pieces. All of the houseware items are thrown on these racks, and they do not bring out wares bins anymore. First of all, they have not thrown away any of the garbage. It seems like they add about 20 new items on top of the garbage each day. Considering this location is so hell-bent on us following their rules which they claim our for our safety and FAIRNESS to all customers. They are not showing any fairness to people who shop for houseware items. The only opportunity anyone has to get any good items would be first thing in the morning, which many people cannot do. It is completely unfair and discriminatory to the people trying to make a living off of houseware items. I went from spending an average of $25 a day, to spending 0 to 5 dollars a day. Your loss.

I will be happy to leave a comment, but I wouldn't give this place a minuscule of a star, it's disgusting!!! I've been to several Goodwill stores throughout NJ, but this one was the worse, a nightmare! The locations that I've been to are set up and organized. Example: Accessories, Home Goods, Electronics, Apparel, all separated. Clothing on racks for each section...Mens, Womens, Children and, by size. At this location, ALL MIXED items are thrown in huge bins, not aware of broken glass, sharp metals, which is a huge safety concern especially if you have little ones looking through the garbage they're selling. Save your time and look for a better location. And if you do go, wear a hazmat suit!

Where does one even start !! First off you know the people working here and whoever transported this clothing has gone through the items.. by the time it get here it’s picked over multiple times. With that said can you find a deal , absolutely, but you’re working for it, unfortunately there’s no shoe racks. It’s virtually impossible to find the mate if you find one shoe that you might be interested in At least if they had a place to put the shoes you could look for the other shoe but if it’s buried 4 foot deep in bins you’re never gonna find it. I don’t think I’d ever go here again.

yall need to STOP creating new rules and routines every week when yall feel like you need something to do. This is the only goodwill ive seen that doesnt allow carts on the floor and now you guys are making the middle room a MESS with the flooding of carts. The new managers clearly have no experience in managing instead they’re experienced in feeling mighty when they have no real world skills. The “new” boxes on side are too big to properly go through them without hurting yourself, as stated by YOUR employees that state we can cut ourself with glass. This place used to be perfect but the new managers clearly have no clue what they are doing. Fix this asap or corporate will be receiving several calls And as for the managers complaining that this store has lost 75% of revenue, it’s literally your fault driving away daily customers that come to spend $$$ hundreds daily. You guys are very aware that you have regulars that come everyday and spend $$$ and all of a sudden they’re not returning?? Failure to acknowledge this is being a failure at your job. Recognize the pattern and fix it or admit to becoming the problem

I personally love thrift stores but this one was hell on earth, we were treated like cattle, yelled at, oh and at the beginning we had to listen to a speech saying that you can’t hit or steal from each other. Well once you survive the first part you have to spend a good hour in line since there was one miserable lady working (she was a absolute sweetheart). AND to top everything off most of the clothes have a smell that takes at least 4 washes to remove

Ok As a regular customer and being a senior citizen I look forward to my discount.I have been keeping track of many weeks the cashiers state the system is down so no discount. Fix this IT people its very easy or again the discount comes out of the owners pockets. I will be looking into this.

First time here ! Parking lot was crazy . We didn’t know why everyone was standing around waiting when we realized they were getting the clothes bins ready. Once they said you can shop everyone went CRAZYYY , my bf and i were neutral just looking . He did find a jacket and I found a Nike pull over & an army jacket . I noticed the items didn’t have tags & when we got to checkout we saw it’s by weight . We spent $14.00 with 3 items not bad . I’m def satisfied !

I do not think the other reviewers understand the concept of being able to view donations before they are sorted. This is what this place is, for some this is amazing because you get first pick and great stuff. But you have to work for it. They change bins in shifts so you always have some new bins to look at. That being said, you may come across things that should not be donated…just MOVE ON and find your cute stuff bc it is all right there you just have to LOOK.

For 125,000 sq feet, It takes way to long for the turns and to checkout. This is the only pound store like this. At this size and for what they are paying in rent for NJ, It should be doing twice as much or even more. Even on the weekends, there is only one register open. It takes sometimes over 30min- 1 hr. for the turn and 1 hr and 1/2 to check out. I feel for the one the poor person at the register. What are you going to do if she leaves. I know there is a few shirt and tie badge wearers upstairs and or other employees around. It only takes 15 min to come down and help. I do not know why all stores do not run the same protocol. I've seen other stores across the country where production is constant. Also no furniture where there is plenty of room for it. Please do better. I know with this square footage its a lot to operate. Also mind your cart, even if covered in the next room as I had stuff taken out as well. Update: nothing like going back and in the first 10 min getting yelled at because I didn't get in line fast enough. Still have one person working the register.

It was a fun experience! Lots of clothes, shoes and accessories. Plainly said there is something for everyone. The shopping itself was great! The thing you do in this type of store is they herd everyone into a room with bins, and when they say so, you all start looking as fast as you can for the best things. PS. There are vendors. And it is sort of a competition, so i find it so dumb that other people are complaining about others digging through the bins like "savage animals." They probably weren't just fast enough.) Best tip for new shoppers: Grab first. Look later. Needless to say, I did come out with two massive bags of clothes, and if you look well enough, you can find high quality, expensive, brand clothes. The only downside is the rude employees they really need to chill sometimes. But it was definitely worth it. And I would recommend this store to absolutely everyone!!!

I decided to update my review after giving this place another chance( by chance I mean continuously spending my hard earned money here ). This is an honest review, this place has gone downhill even more since my last review. There is less customer service now then there was before. The tone of voice used when dealing with paying customers is ludicrous. This is not a military school, it’s a place of business. I do not work for the employees, the employees should be providing some basic type of costumer service. Guess what, if the regular shoppers and the first time shoppers don’t like a specific rule change or way of doing things you should take that into consideration. Being told, in a huddle setting like school children, “ if you don’t like how we do something here then go shop somewhere else “ is demeaning and disrespectful. Add that to the obvious fact that donated items are being picked over in the stockroom before being made available to the shoppers ( all good items have a rejection sticker on them or never make it to the bins in the first place ) and you have a recipe for disaster. The “ random “ choosing of the line experiment just keeps getting wackier and wackier and has turned into a power trip/favoritism type of situation. Let the people who have supported your store shop with some respect and dignity. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel and if you really want to do something random and fair then do it. I’ve noticed less and less people coming to shop in the last few weeks as well. When I personally ask people “ where have you been “ the responses have been consistent. “ This place is going downhill and they don’t respect us “. I will be back to update my review in a few weeks. ————original review below———— This place used to be good. Now if you are not a favorite of the workers there good luck being treated fairly. Also, don’t come here if you expect anything that resembles customer service. You are treated like a prisoner here, it’s actually absurd. One last thing, people put rocks and other garbage outside the door the night before to hold a spot for the next day. God forbid you move these items, a gang of ladies from Washington Heights will emerge and attack you for moving the place holders they have placed for friends who are on the way. Other than that I find good lamps and art here. I am a designer.

Well. It's a tough go. Tight parking... and it's a sell by the pound place as all outlets are... just bins. No sorting. But that's why it's cheaper that regular goodwill.

Well according to management you cannot record or anything else interior side of the factory building whatever this is you’re not allowed to I don’t know why but that’s what their regulations are. I like this place because they have a lot of different things and stuff I mean it’s not like your traditional store but the remaining area is in here and everything else I mean everything shifts every two hours so it’s always consistent and different I personally haven’t been here enough to really give an idea of what’s going on.
