Let me be very clear so no one else goes through what I did.
My Honda Accord had a differential problem with an oil leak. When I took it to the dealership, they told me the differential needed to be fully replaced and quoted me around $4,500, which was very expensive. After doing research and asking friends, I was referred to Gold Coast Motorsport.
They told me a full replacement was not necessary and claimed they could fix my Honda Accord by replacing only a few parts for $1,800. They also promised the car would be ready in 2 days. Based on what they said, I trusted them and left my car.
That’s when the problems started.
After the 2 days passed, I had to call them myself for updates. The car was not ready. During these calls, they could not clearly explain what work was being done or what parts were replaced. Everything was vague and unclear. Instead of 2 days, they kept my car for 5 days.
Exactly one week after picking up my Honda Accord, the differential completely failed. My car is now 100% undriveable and will not move at all. The damage is far worse than before I brought it to them.
When I contacted Gold Coast Motorsport about this, they said,
This is not our fault. We take no responsibility.
This is unacceptable. They clearly stated that the parts they installed were under warranty, yet now they are refusing to honor it. Shortly after, they started ignoring my phone calls altogether.
After this happened, I did more research and spoke with others. I learned that this shop often sends cars they can’t fix to outside mechanics, then charges customers more while claiming the work was done in-house. That is extremely dishonest.
Because of their negligence, my Honda Accord now has an additional $5,000 in damage, and they refuse to take any responsibility.
I will be pursuing legal action against Gold Coast Motorsport.

I absolutely do not recommend Gold Coast Motorsport under any circumstances
I brought my car in for an oil change, and somehow they left the oil cap off. When I picked the car up, the engine bay was covered in oil. Honestly, I don’t get how something that basic gets missed.
Yeah, I can put the oil cap back on myself .. that’s not the issue. The issue is the lack of attention to detail. If something this simple is overlooked during an oil change, it really makes you wonder how carefully they handle bigger jobs.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share this so others can decide for themselves. A small mistake like this could’ve easily turned into a much bigger and more expensive problem.
After this experience, I honestly look at the 160 something reviews very differently. When a mistake this basic happens, it makes you wonder whether those reviews were actually earned through quality work, or just collected from friends and acquaintances. What I experienced doesn’t really line up with that rating.

Niko and his team flawlessly installed a dash cam in my SUV. Scheduling was easy and fast, service was done in a couple hours with much attention to detail and professionalism. I got hit last weekend by a distracted driver while waiting for the light to turn green, resulting on a minor dent and scratch in the passenger's side. Anyways, I found this place and decided to give it a try due to the outstanding Google reviews, and let me tell you, it truly leaves to it's name.
The owner Nico walked me through the process with clarity and honesty. His quote was fair and he delivered the service within the promised time frame. He was also kind enough to drop me off and pick me up (even though I live in the hood) due to the extreme cold weather. Quite considerate!
As a single gal, I feel fortunate of having found this place.

Nico and his team are the PRO you would like to talk to. I had to fix some paint on bumper, brought the car to him on Monday, they did all the work and I was able to pick it back the very next day. He also helped with installing my dash camera for free. Price is super reasonable. Easy 5 stars!

Nico was responsive and the team did an excellent job repairing my Tesla Model Y. They took out the dents and painted it so well it didn’t look like there was ever an accident. Not perfect after a few weeks as there was some chipping formed around painted area. Also had to find side view mirror replacement myself. The value for service was good. Recommended
I really want to give this business a 0 STAR. I have so many problems since I received my car back. I came here for a simple paint job for my door handle and front bumper . He first lied and says my door panel was never removed when it was ! My drive side window which where the handle was was making a loud screaching noise that was never there before. Brackets and springs all broken had to pay $700 at another location to get this fixed and inspected . He refused to pay for this additional problem he created. Please everyone be very careful with this crook. I drive a Porsche panamera that was treated very poorly and have never had an issue with no other body shop until now!

I have been to a few auto repair places, but I am glad I found Gold Coast Motorsport. First, it was close to where I work. Secondly, they were friendly and professional. Lastly, when I got my car back, they did such a great job. My car looked fantastic and new (like new). Overall, I recommend! Drove 40 mins to get an aftermarket kit installed on my car because of the good reviews and let me tell you it’s was definitely worth it! From the get go, Nico was very helpful over the phone when I sent him photos of the kit to be installed and gave me a very competitive quote (another reason what I drove out of my way for them). I dropped my car at 10 am and picked it up at 6:30, 30 mins after their working hours, they promised to give me the car back the same day and they delivered even if it meant staying in the shop working after hours! During those 8 hours, I got photo updates and phone calls to ensure that everything was done to my liking. Nico is not just the owner but also the lead mechanic that is side by side with his employees with every project from A to Z, very meticulous and very much a perfectionist (BIG bonus to have in your mechanic!). The results were great and I could not be happier! My mechanic from now on and I’ll be referring my family and friends to them!
There is nothing like reading the reviews on google for a business to realize yourself that all the amazing things said are 100% true. Had a water leak on my range rover coming from the sunroof and the owner Nico diagnosed the car for free (where multiple shops wanted to charge me just to look at it). Not only did he guide me through the whole process by sending photo updates and calls but he went above and beyond to fix up my truck in the same day for a price you can't get anywhere else. Dropped it off at 10AM and picked it up later in the afternoon. If you are in the area and you need someone to work on your car, give Nico a call!

One of the best, if not the best body shop I've ever dealt with. Period.
On Halloween, my 1990 Miata which I spent the summer rebuilding and restoring was backed into in the worst possible spot: the rear quarter panel. There's curves and body lines there that if not matched will stick out like a sore thumb, and the only way to replace it is cutting it out and welding in a new panel. A very expensive and sometimes unsuccessful endeavor. I was upset naturally, but exchanged information with the person, and went out to get some quotes.
When we met up to resolve it, he said he wanted to take it to his friends shop. If you've ever handled an accident without insurance, that's a major red flag. So I took a look at their reviews, and saw 5 stars. That was another red flag. I work in advertising, and I know reviews can be boosted and or faked. But I reluctantly agreed to go to the shop and check it out with him.
I'm a gear head at heart. I do all my own repairs, I build and tune cars as a hobby. But body work is an absolute art form. I know it takes a steady hand and an incredible eye to do it right (that I don't personally have), especially on an older car that's had time for the panels to shift, the paint to fade etc. It's pure art. There's no other way to describe it.
When I got to Gold Coast, I was greeted with a gorgeous 1967 mustang convertible they just aligned and repainted You can partially see in the photos. If you know anything about old Mustangs, especially convertibles as they tend to be much more flexible, you know they're notorious for panel gaps. That Mustang was lined up flawlessly. The paint was near flawless. I was floored. I figured if they can do that, they can handle my Miata, and I was 100% right.
In about 7 days they pulled off what I thought was impossible. They pulled the panel out, and with very minimal bondo recreated the body lines perfectly. The paint was matched by eye, since it was an aftermarket paint job and I didn't have the code and it's spot on. I was floored, no other way to describe it. It's now the best looking panel on the entire car.
Take it from me. I pay closer attention to cars than the vast majority of people out there. I know every curve of the body, every nut and bolt of my Miata. And they nailed it. This is a truly deserved 5 star review.
