Peter is an awesome person! He did so much for us to help me get into the perfect car. He gave me a very fair deal and was very upfront and honest. None of that bull that a big dealer makes you fight through.
Beyond confused seeing these reviews myself and my husband in a time of need opted to purchase a car from Peter. Peter was initially extremely helpful and seemed like their was consistency between the reviews and to how he operates his business in person.
No room for negotiation paid $8600
Not even two weeks later after an "inspection" from Rochester radiator, we bought the car with chewed up rims and worn tires but didn't expect the catalytic converter to fail.
We neglected to bring it to Rochester radiator after getting the check engine light and it eventually cost us the entire motor in the vehicle.
Peter was kind enough to still have it checked out by Rochester radiator even though we neglected to have the code addressed.
The diagnostic that was given was a joke,
Luckily Hyundai had a warranty on the motor itself, we called and arranged the appointment all the while Peter faded out of the process not to be heard from again. Motor was swapped by Hyundai then weeks later the same P420 code that came on not even a week after owning the vehicle is back and will cost about another 2k for a catalytic converter.
These were codes that were thrown before we ever purchased the vehicle you can see it right in the shops paperwork where Peter brought it to have work done. They were cleared and not taken care of properly, the car then sat and awaited our purchase to drive it and trigger the code again.
Peter buys cars at auction gets them "fixed up" and hopes it sticks, anything outside of minor repairs seem to be out of his hands as he has a profit margin he needs to hit. 8600 now has turned into over 10,000 out of pocket after proper repairs.
This is my experience alone, I can't speak for all his other cars and from what it seems other people were much more fortunate and I'm grateful for that as I've been nothing but burned by this car in a time where we needed help.
Oil changes done every 2,000-2,500 miles after purchase regular maintenance was kept up. This was not mechanical issues on our part from the beginning but turned into solely our issue. I hope the money does Peter well.

Autos at the Orchard is the best place to purchase a used car. Peter at Autos at the Orchard came highly recommended when my family needed a second car - he's great. He knows his inventory well, and makes sure any car he's selling will pass inspection before it leaves the lot for its new home.

The nicest people you will ever meet, I bought a car for a great price, I had an issue with it about a month later and they swiftly got it into their shop and gave me a loaner, the issue was fixed within the day and they gave me a full explanation of what went wrong and it was taken care of immediately. The most honest and fair auto buying experience of my life. And i have owned and bought many. Pete kept my trade and let me take the truck of interest home so that my mechanic could look it over and one of the brake lines ruptured on the way home. He drove from Barrington N.H. to Shapleigh/Waterboro,Maine to pick it up rhat night so rhat it could be fixed immediately. He did all of this himself and that kind of commitment goes a long way in my book. He is honest and trustworthy and i cant say enough good things about the way he does business. Very great small dealership, Honest and trusting owners, very professional and knowledgeable about vehicles. They will be up front about any issues with vehicles and will fix them. Took a little bit to get the car I wanted (about a week for repairs) but well worth the wait. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a cheap reliable vehicle. Will definitely be returning to purchase another one in the future.
