Too many trucks and box trucks with Mass commercial plates, throwing away their rugs and what is obviously other business related to trash. There was someone sitting in the area just watching as they did this rather than checking if they were from the town. He was too busy on his phone.

I've been going mid-morning during the week and it's not very busy. Bays are clearly labeled. It was pretty easy to get a sticker by presenting my Driver's license to the attendant.

This transfer station is very nice. The bins are well identified. The trash and recycles are at opposite ends of the facility. Since plastic bags are not to be added to the recycles, they used to have a trash receptacle for the plastic bags. They took it away, and now it is up to you to go to the other end to deposit the plastic bags in the trash while a worker is sitting in a shed. It would be nice to have the receptacle returned by the recycle bin.

The guys are great. It was very busy on Saturday. I got into line at 5:10 P.M. The transfer station is supposed to close at 5:30. They stayed open for those that got in line until 5:30, got to drop off their trash and recycling.

The go-to destination during stay-at-home days. Now featuring orange cones for physical distancing.

If you go on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday it's less busy. Workers are very helpful.
