Truck driver speeding in the right lane on the highway had plenty of time and space to slow down or move over, but instead chose to play chicken with people merging onto the highway, rude and reckless behavior.
Irate right now. If you wanna be taken advantage of.. come on down! I spent an afternoon chopping up a huge heavy trailer.. $40 in carbide blades.. only to have them take advantage of the fact I don’t know the process, and screw me on the WRONG RATE forbmt most heavy items. What a joke. I called days in advance to make sure I knew what the deal was to maximize my scrap. Thanks for the wasted time, never again!
Great place to deal with weather it's scrapping a junk car or just getting rid of some scrap metal the lady in the office is wicked nice and pleasant she definitely needs a raise great at her job
I've never had an issue with them untill today, they closed the gate 30 minutes early and in a very disrespectful way said " too bad, were closed". I drove almost an hour to do a scrap run and the man on the phone was rude and said " not my fault you have terrible gas mileage" and hung up the phone
Their semi driver that delivered with me in Reading Pa is a piece of trash . He sneaks past all other drivers who have been waiting parked in line all night for receiving to open. Then when confronted he basically said "it's been done to me so I do it to others " rather than say hey I see all you other drivers parked in line waiting here, he basically says too bad you gotta be 1st at the window . That's the garbage we share the roads with !
Well that was easy! Sold an old car to Harding, fair price, good communication with Donna at the office, polite tow truck driver, showed up when expected, paid cash, no issues at all. Thank you
Picked up OCC, in and out not too bad. Will probably end up pulling to the right just off the pavement and dropping your trailer. They'll take it in and load it.
Overall great. I've been going here for half a year. The forklift operator is respectful and is more than willing to explain how or why something is being graded as it is and is willing to reason. Office women are really nice. I was late coning in and was cashing out 20 min after closing time, still very respectful and understanding, unlike another yard Ive gone to. If Harding continues to treat their customers well (which I believe they will) They will have my buisness for the rest of my recycling career
Cool place to pickup, just make sure ya tandems are slid all the way "Forward" Position, prior to getting on the scale (If ya picking up from here) and ya day maybe even easier, though this is a very busy place some may not be paying attention, so watch out for the little ones that maybe around ya while ya make turns and all, they can snick up on ya, other than that just make sure to approach the young lady behind the glass with a good attitude and she may reflect it back at ya!
As a first time visitor, it was a little confusing on how to navigate the process, but with a little bit of direction from a couple employees, I made it through, and I will absolutely return.
I had a problem with one of their extremely dangerous and reckless drivers. He tried forcing me off the highway and then when we came to a stop on the freeway exit, he jumped out of his truck and scared my children. With such large vehicles on the road, there needs to be better oversight.
A Harding Metals Inc truck took my neighbors cable drop down which cause home damage due to the wire being ripped from the house and the driver did not even stop. Never mind the fact that there is a no trucks sign on our street so the driver should not have been driving down our street to begin with. Glad that my security camera caught it since the driver did not have the decency to stop.
Great customer service. Drove in with all kinds of scrap wire and had three different guys come out and help me. Polite and professional. Brendan and Joe at the copper scale were quick and thoroughly went through my scrap while handling other customers. Great experience. Highly recommended. Didn't catch the name of the office woman but she was also friendly and helpful. Thanks again.
Do not pick up for these people. My trucks have been here twice and will never go back. Ignorant People., Slow loading, Loaders blame the drivers. Takes one average 4 hours to load 20 pallets. They do not stage anything. Do not pick up at this place.
