My car broke down today in Northwood, I originally called Remares because they seem to have the best reputation on Google. The man seemed clearly frustrated with the quality of the call (as if I had say in where I broke down & the strength of my cell reception), and I didn't make it far enough to even explain that I needed a tow before hanging up. I called up Gardner & Sons immediately after. They seemed to have a very clear understanding of the area, knew exactly what I was referring to when trying to explain where my car was. They told me they could be out there in 25 minutes, & they dropped my car off at my job an hour after I called. For my first experience needing a tow, it was pretty quick & easy. I am grateful to have my car back in familiar territory, & grateful for the urgency from Gardner & Sons!
Extremely rude, hung up on me when when he asked what I wanted to pay and the figure didn’t meet his expectations. Didn’t even bother to tell me what it would take to get the tow done.
5 stars. The easiest tow I’ve ever had and I’ve towed a lot of cars I used AAA online service which was SUPER easy, way easier than calling. I got text updates when they were coming and who. I got a call and a text update that they were going to be an hour late, which was fine, whatever.
They call 5 minutes prior, and the load up was super easy. Julien was really friendly and personable when I talked to him. I trusted him with my BMW and walked home (broke down luckily right next to my house). He also verified where it was going with me just to be sure it was brought to the right place which I appreciated.

I managed to reverse my car over a curb at the Family Dollar store. They came promptly and even though the man was young he was very experienced. We were covered by AAA so we did not pay for the tow. I would recommend them to my friends.
In July I crashed into a deer on RT 4 in Northwood. This was my first accident so I was panicking. The seeming owner, can't remember name, was very kind and "comforting" to my emotional breakdown
Almost got side swiped by one of their vehicles today. Driving close on my tail for some miles. Then sped past me almost side swiping my car out of his way. I called the phone number on the back of the van and got a very rude man who was supposedly the owner just to let him know of his wreak-less driver. He seemed to care less about the situation. License plate number 602 E .
Unfortunately I can’t give less than 1 star because even 1 is too generous! My son got stuck on a back road just outside Northwood, GPS led him down this road. Called his insurance company who sent out Gardner & Sons Towing, 3 and a half hours later they arrived and his car was pulled out and he was charged 300.00 on top of the 125.00 the insurance company paid! Arrogant, obnoxious opportunists taking advantage of a 22 year old kid who was late for work! Unfortunately these people have a monopoly in town and take advantage in the name of GREED! Never again will anyone in my family do business with this company or their “ lemon lot”! Bad Karma! Have a nice day.
