I had a flat tire during our ski trip to NH the last week of December. I called 5 different garages in the area, and only G&A Hampson responded. Gary and the rest of the G&A Hampson team were very professional, helpful and kind, and repaired the tire right away, so we could travel back home to Maryland. In addition, the price was very reasonable. I’m very grateful for their help.

We take all our vehicles here. Small, experienced shop that does quality work for a fair price. They will tell you when you need something done AND when you don't. Good people. Highly recommended.

Gary is the kind of guy you want underneath your vehicle. I've been working on my aging truck and he has been more than helpful. He has a keen eye for little issues that can quick become labor-intensive repairs if unnoticed or unmentioned. That's the ticket. Amy is great too, their shop is a friendly place where I've enjoyed waiting every time I've been. Genuinely nice people and trustworthy as they come. 5/5
G&A was recommended to me by 2 local residents, Toyota and Lexus owners. Word of mouth recommendations always count for a lot. G&A has now serviced and repaired both my cars (Honda), done a great job, priced fairly, even saved me a lot vs the dealer. They even offered a ride to/from if needed.

I’m new to the area and went to G and A Auto, because they were recommended from our realtor. I went in for an oil change and came back with my exterior roof ruined with $2,000 in damage. Our car is garage kept and was only driven to and from the mechanic. Owners refused to take responsibility for the damage. They also told us we needed new struts. After visiting a new mechanic, we learned we don’t need new struts... Very disappointed in G and A Auto and do not recommend.
The only place I trust when it comes to my truck. I drive my vehicle hard for work while expecting it to perform for personal use as well and Gary and Amy make sure its running right and it is safe for me and my family all the time. They are the only ones I trust 100% and know I never need a second opinion or need to worry about being sold repairs I dont need. Gary and Amy are great people with a great buisness that everyone should be visiting for their cars next repair or tune up.
This placed saved the day for me. I have an f 150 triton 5.4,which is natorious for a an issue I don't understand that can ruin your engine. It was either $1400 to fix it or buy a new engine. They actually fixed it, and it's a 50/50 chance. I am extatic. I'll go back for everything else in the future.
I have been to many other mechanics for our trucks but amy and gary are hands down the best we've been to. You can definitely tell the difference and the prices are unbeatable! They know what there doing!

Don't bring anything here that has wheels. Don't expect a sticker w/o emptying your wallet. Testimonials have GOT to be from family members. 100% of people I spoke with would never go back. Friendly?....what a crock. Owner in a big hurry for your money. Hurried & sloppy also. Shop is a mess.
