I needed some emergency repair done on my breaks (a line broke). Tim was able to get the job done quickly and at a reasonable price. He also took care of a couple other nagging problems I had been putting off. I was looking for a good mechanic in the area. He's got my business now.
I got to say out of all the years I've had mechanics work on my cars he is the most honest and is very kind! He explained everything he was doing! Great shop!!!
I’ve used Holleys Auto for many years. I’ve gone to see Tim before he was even Holleys Auto. I am impressed with his honesty and knowledge he’s been doing mechanics since he was very young and he came from a family of mechanics. He worked for his grandfather at Hill Irving years and years ago, and I brought my car there as well, I have been to other mechanics in the area and had a very bad experience especially with VIP. His wife is very courteous and professional and does all the books and keeps things in order. TIM is the most professional and Honest mechanic I have known .I have gone to othrr local garages and they seem to fibd more wrong than tjeir is with my car .when I started going to Holleysauto I have not had these issues any longer as I am a Woman and as we all know some mechanics take advantage of us.And I am so content with staying with Holleys Auto and could not be happier.Thank you for all you do for all the people out their and keeping us safe .
If there were 100 stars I would give it to him! Honest mechanics are hard to find. I brought my Subaru in as I thought I had issues with the brakes. I have him a deposit for parts. He called 2 days later and told me my rotors and brakes are fine. We figured it out that it was a branch I pulled out earlier before taking to him had hit the vacuum flap. Tell me, who as a mechanic would be that honest to a single female???! He could of put the rotors and pads on and charged me the $300 (which by the way was half the price quoted by an auto service in downtown bristol that did my rear brakes and rotors in February for $650!!!) And in would of never second guessed him. He came highly recommended and he WILL be my only future mechanic. He is returning the parts and refunding all but one hour of labor and that is wicked frigging awesome. He had renewed my faith in humanity!! Thank you Holleys auto.
Quoted $23 per tire to mount and balance=$92
Charged $115, apparently had to "grind and polish beads" on 5 year old rims getting 3rd set of tires in that time. First time hearing of such a thing in my 30 years of buying tires.
The shop also wanted an additional $5 per tire for disposal. That brings us to $33.75 per tire
I don't believe I'll give this shop a chance to charge me 30% more than their quoted price on any future automotive needs.
