So whoever had their white Tesla towed by this company, they just pulled it out of their lot with a forklift and scraped the whole front bottom, bumper and all pulling it out of their driveway.

My car was towed without justification, and the experience was completely unprofessional. I was parked legally, yet my car was taken anyway, causing major inconvenience and unexpected expenses. When I tried to get an explanation, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. There was no accountability, no clear reasoning, and no effort to resolve the mistake. This is the THIRD TIME that the have towed my vehicle. Management at my apartments had to CALL them to release my vehicle for FREE after they WRONGFULLY towed my car. The workers there are rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. The tow drivers are not trained well, the lady on the phone hung up on me and was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If you value honest basic professionalism, avoid this company.

Milne towing company damaged my cars internal locking system after they towed it and claimed it was already like that. After paying 600 to get car out because it was called in to get towed by the city of Reno which apprently costs the car owner more to get out I had over $2000 of valuables stolen out of my car due to Milne damaging my cars locking components

Preys on broke college students, I understand the need for towing in some situations. However their partnership with basically every area around UNR shows that they are looking for the easiest possible targets since students are forced to commute to a school that doesn’t provide reasonable parking. I also got the chance to hear an interaction between one of the workers and a friend of mine after he got towed and he was extremely condescending and disrespectful. Company is a sham.

On Dec 15, 2025, we used Milne Towing to transport my husband’s 1944 Ford GPW (WWII Army Jeep) from our house to downtown Reno for a community engagement, then back home again. The customer service was excellent from the initial phone call to the tow. We spoke to dispatcher Cassandra a few times, and she was always cheerful and efficient. Brandon arrived early with the tow truck and took his time getting the vehicle on the back of the truck with great care. He was also personable and efficient. When he and my husband, who rode with him, arrived at the downtown location, he very carefully lowered the Jeep onto a raised area for the event – then helped my husband and I push it to get it into perfect position. On a side note, for several years while my husband was board president of our former HOA, he had several interactions with Milne and they were always professional. We highly recommend Milne Towing.

This towing company is nothing short of predatory and completely unprofessional. They went against their own policy, refusing to accept a simple drop-off fee, and towed the car anyway — because apparently fairness and following your own rules are optional. They constantly drive around the apartment complex like vultures, picking off cars with zero warning, zero notice, and zero chance for owners to move their vehicles. There’s no communication, no courtesy, just pure opportunism. Blink, and your car is gone — and they don’t care about the stress, inconvenience, or cost they leave behind. If you value decency, transparency, or basic human consideration, avoid this company like the plague. They operate like it’s a game of “how fast can we tow before someone notices,” and the residents always lose. This is not towing; it’s harassment with a tow truck.

Today we had a very bad experience. We returned from our vacation trip and discovered that our car had been towed. We went directly to the towing company to pick it up, and when we arrived, we had to deal with a gentleman who was extremely rude. He treated us horribly, especially after we pointed out that our car had been damaged while in their possession. Instead of listening, he became aggressive, started throwing things around, and behaved in a completely unacceptable manner. This experience left us feeling disrespected and shocked by the lack of professionalism. We expect this issue to be addressed immediately, including accountability for the damage to our vehicle and the inappropriate behavior of your staff.

Had a friend come pick up some food last night, took about 10-15 mins, came back out and his car was getting towed at the Reno Regency. Now I understand it wasn’t a permitted parking for non residents. My complaint is the guy lied consistently. Called us liars saying a car takes 2 hours to cool down in cold weather. Saying the security guard called him when the guard told me the tow truck guy emailed him. And almost $200 for a drop fee is ridiculous, talk about “there’s 7 cameras on my truck, can’t do anything”…Again I understand the reasoning to an extent. But yall need to work on your professionalism

Unfortunately the last 2 experiences I've had with Milne customer service haven't been great. The desk lady via phone was perfect, kind, well spoken, and informational. The yard guy who initially helped us (new to the job) great customer service. But another one of the yard guys was extremely aggressive and rude, and treated me as if I was a criminal. You can't expect your customers to follow your guidelines of "have a good attitude" if one of your workers refuse to follow it. People come to your yard already stressed your employees don't need to add to that. Also make sure your employees are familiar with local and federal laws if they're gonna quote them.

Dillon and Chris, you were absolute heros! Our family of 7 broke down at 5:30pm on a Friday evening just east of Sparks. We knew no one in the area. They brought both trucks out to haul us all into town to a hotel. Thank you so very much!!!

Dezzy (sp?) Was incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate! She was very thorough and definitely does her job womderfully! I definitely would recommend milne towing just from the experience of having her help me! Thank you Dezzy! (Hopefully that is the correct spelling!)

I'm not a customer. Two pieces of my equipment were towed while I was out of the country. I was able to track down that the equipment was towed to Milne. So this review isn't about some happy sparkly shiny experience that I had related to being a customer. This was a really painful, unhappy, unexpected experience due to logistics mix up with some people. The point of me making this review is I want to commend the two people in the office and the young man who handled the yard. In a situation that is pretty unhappy and potentially pretty ugly, everybody was incredibly professional and incredibly helpful. Honestly, I would have never expected people to be so professional and so helpful in such a setting. First, I want to make a call out to Lexi and Cierra in the office, both of whom were patient and helpful with all my questions. The icing on all of this experience that made something so painful feel like so much of an uplifting experience, so much that I felt compelled to write this review was my interaction with Tristan in the yard. Easily, he could have made things painful or ugly or he could have just done nothing. Instead, Tristan was incredibly warm and incredibly helpful and was willing to provide some technical pro-tips that I know I will use for the rest of my life. So this is a huge shout out to all the folks at Milne Towing in Sparks. I know you guys have to deal pretty tough situations with customers everyday. And I want to commend all of you for your professionalism and your ability to stay respectful and helpful through it all.

This company is a scam artist illegally towards your car with an illegal sticker from an HOA residential area after having a contract that the HOA said do not tow it they had a permit on the car they are awful they are nasty the damage your car they don't care how they get it in their custody they do they must be paying people payoffs to tell them where they can go pick up a car that have been sitting there it was waiting for the mechanic it cost you thousands of dollars and they are a lawsuit waiting to happen we will pursue them because they damaged our vehicle and towed it illegally the HOA of our community is livid and they'll probably hopefully cancel the contract because they are good HOA beware! Look at the sticker closely make sure it was illegal toe because they are very illegal

This tow yard is a complete joke. Along with my insurance company no one gets anything right. I have been on the phone for 6 days trying to get my car out of the lot and it’s been nothing but issues. They try to keep the car as long as they possibly can I promise you. I was told multiple times that it was taken out today and that was 6 days of this. I was told on friday that finally someone is coming RIGHT THEN to take the car and then was told no one ever said that??? I’m not stupid. Then when someone finally can get the car out of the lot 6 DAYS LATER they take the wrong car and apperently the tow lot doesn’t watch who takes what out. “I know this is surprising but there’s more than one white Jeep in our lot” I know this is surprising but there’s one key for each car and one license for each car!! It’s not hard to do your job and regulate what goes on and out of the tow yard. Disrespectful employees yelling and hanging up phones. They have lost my car keys and won’t take responsibility for anything. I hope management can get on this but obviously doesn’t seem like they will. Please avoid if you can this was a miserable experience and I hope no one else has to go through this. I have reached my limit and I am not usually like this with people. I am just a college student trying to get my car back for work and milne towing company has taken zero responsibility for anything and get a kick out of arguing with customers and lying and being terrible at a simple job. I would also like to note that this seems like a continuing pattern with this company as I read through the other reviews with numerous comments of these representatives losing their patience within seconds, yelling at customers, and being unprofessional and taking no accountability. I think it’s laughable to be running a “business” like this as a manager and not stepping up when needed.

Called to have a car towed out of my assigned spot, was told 45 mins until arrival. They simply never showed up after 2 hours I called back they said they had more important tows to handle. Glad double R Apartments fired this company. Good riddance crappy service

Milne towed my car from my apartment complex. I saw the truck about to drive off. I ran out at 2am with no shoes and in pajamas. The tow driver saw me but didn't stop until he got off property. Then he stopped in the middle of the street. He got out of the truck. I literally begged him not to take my car. He said he had to take it because he was off the property. I believe he left the property ON PURPOSE! He was so heartless. Their driver Dylan was so heartless. He appeared to gain pleasure from my begging. He purposefully drove off property. I told him my gate access card was in the car along with my gate access code. He lied and said the gate could be opened without it. I couldn't open the gate. I was outside trying to climb the fence, track down cars to hopefully get them to call the police for assistance. No one would stop. I had to wait outside for about an hour until someone left the property. What a horrible ordeal.

They impounded my car, obvouisly wasn't happy, however it turned out great it was them. They did everything they could to get my car back asap. They secretary even stayed an hour late on a Friday. If it was me I couldn't have had as much patience as she did. I feel like I owe them lunch or something. Then they towed my car to another location the minute I asked. Anyways I know who to call even though they took my car. Funny but true. Thanks.

My Goldwing quit and I needed a tow to the dealer. It's a 950 lb bike and not easy to move at all especially since it was 2 floors up in a parking garage. Milne came out to scope the job and then they scheduled a flat bed tow the next day. Sebastian--also owner of a heavy bike--had the correct tie-down straps and knew exactly how to safely secure the bike to the flatbed. Very happy customer.

Needed a tow for a very special truck an Alan was AMAZING! He had no problem getting it from a tight place loading it onto flatbed tow truck and taking it home. He even got the wasps nest out from under the bed of truck. Will DEFINITELY CALL midline and ask for him again if I ever need a tow again.

Put a "48 Hour Violation" notice on my company car at my apartment complex, but it wasn't just a slip of paper taped to a window but a full 4x6 permanent adhesive sticker. I had to spend 20 minutes scrubbing it off before I returnedthe car. I understand the need to notify but could you do it in a less permanent manner?

I got a punctured tire while driving near the University and I pulled into a parking garage when my tire light came on. Regrettably, this posed a much larger issue by parking here since it prohibited nearly every company from being able to enter due to low clearance. I was completely distraught. In a city I don't know, my husband not with me, and no idea what to do...enter Milne. My husband got referrals to them from several other tow companies and while I did have a long (3.5 hour wait) their dispatch team was so kind, caring and aware of my emotional distress. When I called for an ETA, I thought she said (Tammy?) was so gentle and empathic. I got a call from my driver Dylan who was so compassionate and so reassuring that he would be there to help me. I felt instant relief upon seeing him, Dylan was a pro - he had me hooked and out in less than15 minutes and he gave me warm conversation that let me breathe for the first time in hours. All of this to say - it was worth every penny. Thank you,Milne. Sincerely, thank you.

These guys did a great job. Tanya in dispatch was on top of things and knew what resources were needed to get the job done. I had a massive vehicle to move with a variety of technical issues that needed to be overcome. They showed up right on our scheduled time. The operator Wade was extremely competent and had a great sense of humor. I would use Milne again, no questions asked.

Saturday 2am and after being told by my insurance that there was no tow trucks that night. I gave Milne a call and with in 3 ring they picked. the amazing dispatcher got my information and my location and gave me a quote. With in 45 min the two truck showed up pick me and truck up and got me home. The driver was awesome super friendly and professional. Changed my mode the thing I didn’t get was there names but I couldn’t be any more grateful thank you all 10/10 would call again.

We had our car towed from a handicap spot. Our handicap plaque fell off the mirror and was sitting on the floor. The tow truck drive had to haven seen it when he was putting the information on the windshield as it was clearly visible on the floor. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They tow vehicles just to make money and rip people off.

Towed my car and tore my bumper. They claimed it was from prior damages on my vehicle. I asked or see pictures before they towed my car and I was told I have an attitude and hung up on. I waited to talk to a manager for 3 days and no one ever called me back! They are unprofessional and not reliable for towing do not trust them to tow you vehicles especially if you don’t want there to be any damage! Here are the pictures before they towed, and after they towed clearly, there was no crack on the bottom of my bumper, until after the towing took place !

My baby was stolen right out of my garage last week, and Milne Towing in Sparks handled the pickup. Christine, the impound manager, handled my situation with a delicate touch. Unfortunately, my car was not able to be driven, and she walked me through the disposal process and took care of my car for me. I will never forget the care I received in this horrible situation, and cannot thank her enough for her tender loving care during this time. Milne was a blessing in disguise! Took my stuff that wasn't even illegally parked, it was in an assigned parking stall. Yes it was mine, it was a home made trailer but since it didn't have a tag they took it. Got it Friday nite it was take Sunday!!! I never had a chance to register it, so they took it and no way to get it back. Lame.

Had an extremely positive experience with Milne when our beloved Essie (Model 3) came down with a flat. Our driver, Wade, was extremely pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable about the unique challenges of a towing a Tesla. He's a real car guy, and I had total trust in his professionalism and care for our vehicle. On top of that, he was a really nice person, and we had a good ride together filled with pleasant small talk. He even went above and beyond to drop us at home, which was a few blocks from our towing location. Towing isn't fun, but I would definitely trust Milne going forward based on this interaction.
