I bought a part from here and tried taking it back when the part is marked and a employee said that I couldn’t return it because he said it was not marked witch clear it was marked in green ink and he said he could not do anything about it worst experience ever I always come here and now I’m not coming back ever I don’t know what I’m I going to do with the part that I have
The people and the selection here are definitely good, but the prices are outrageous at this point. When I can source the same basic parts brand new from Amazon for 20% - 30% cheaper without having to pull them off a car myself, that is a problem. I've sold cars to this place. I made $100 off of two cars total, both cars being in working condition with all parts included. They turn those around and make thousands off of each car, and now their prices are worse than buying new parts. What is the point? It's a real bummer cause just a couple years ago the prices were decent, but this last year or so everything went up like 50% for no reason. I don't get it. I'll only ever come here now if I can't source the part online, cause this is just price gouging at this point. Sorry. I used to love you pick n pull.
Their prices are insane now. Anything you want you can get on Amazon or ebay for alot less. How they want 80 for a used radiator and Amazon new for 60. Or 80 with hoses and thermostat. Smh yall greedy!!!
Tiffany is absolutely amazing at her job! This customer service representative deserves a raise or at least acknowledgement for the positive impact she has on the company and customers. She went above and beyond to help make sure we had the right part for our vehicle. Thanks for all your help Tiffany! You have certainly improved my opinion of the PICK-n-PULL auto parts pulling experience.
Cars have been sitting for 6 plus months no new stock and are always picked clean of anything useful. And i have to pay to get in to walk all the way to the back of the lot just to be disappointed every time.
Constantly charging more for junk.
Everytime I buy something here the charge me close to brand new at AutoZone. Really shady business practices. Avoid at all costs.
Went on a Friday, and they work bankers hours. Close at 5 now. Thanks for the heads up. Even says 6 on the sign on the building and I drove all the way out here. B.S.
Go somewhere else.
Not sure what is going on. Use to get stuff here at a great price. Now they are more expensive than eBay. Wanted $20 for ONE item plus tax, plus environmental fee. Showed him I can get 4 of the same items on eBay with free shipping for $15. Guy could care less.
A horrible, horrible way to run a business. Been scheduling for over a week and they’ve been telling me every single day. The driver is on his way. The driver is on his way. Don’t go through this company sell it private party or something because these people Are completely insane .
They go threw workers to often Michaela is probably the most helpful one working there. So was Topher but seems he doesn't work there any longer honestly he seemed to bring a smile to so many if the customers from what I saw.
They definitely take advantage of the lack of competition in this area. Prices are quite high for parts you have to pull yourself. Example my lower control arm is $56 new, they want $40 for worn bushings and questionable ball joint. Lots of variety, sure, but the parts stores have just as much. For not much more
if you want to go to a real salvage yard that wants your business I would recommend planet Auto on Parr boulevard firstly because it's free and secondly because they treat you with respect. I do not recommend this place their prices are completely over the top and then when you're leaving they will low-key accuse you of stealing and then asked to look in your toolbox because apparently my toolbox was too big for the parts that I brought to the counter to pay for I got about halfway through opening up every compartment on my toolbox before I got really irritated and snapped and walked out of there like you have absolutely no right to go through any of my property and I'm not going to be looked at like I was a thief like everybody was looking at me as they're trying to leave not cool at alle so yeah I will never be back there again I will gladly go to planet auto where I am respected and treated like a person and not a thief
Husband sold his car to them 4 weeks ago. Told them on site when they took the car we don't live in reno and we need it mailed to us. They agreed. Waited 2 weeks nothing. They said oh sorry we canceled the check let us resend it. So we waited another 2 weeks oh sorry we never sent it. Its been 4 weeks now no payment for our car. Don't go to these guys unless you've got a lot of time to wait. Also we still haven't been paid for our car.
Yard is well organized and kept up to date. I like the fact i can go into your site on my computer and look up cars similar to mine, picture included and see where they are located in the yard then print it out. I can get that part the dealer and/or parts stores do not supply. I just wish you would sell us the aluminum wheels instead of sending them off to recycler.
I always take things over the top some times. The reps at the gate printed the locations of all the compatible cars for me. I used their parts carts they provide to get body parts for my poor little Prius. A very positive experience. I have to install my fog lights at home. I did this work in the shade of their parking lot!
It was a very bad experience!
First day of coming to this location. Quite a few of the vehicles are sitting on the ground, the parts needed you will have to dig in the dirt to retrieve the parts, they will use jacks, they refused to help to lift the vehicle, there was some poor excuse as to why they can't. Come to find out the vehicle fuel tanks still have gas in them.
On the second visit, the computers are down and they can't store credit,, they refused to add the credit to new parts I had to dig in the dirt to get again.
On the third visit, I got charged for three parts when there were only two parts.
You get charged $2.00 to get in then get charged 2.56 again for environmental fee. (which is not governed by city or state) by choice of Pick and Pull to charge every customer on every visit to dispose of hazardous materials even though you did not bring them in.
These places are not right, way over charge to have to pull your own parts, Very poor operations, poor customer service, bad business. I would suggest to support a local savage yard, not these chain stores.
They tried to charge us double for a coil pack than what we could get it for brand new. We showed them the price we could get it for online and they said to buy it new then. We tried to offer a fair price and they said NO!! Would HIGHLY recommend researching the part you are looking for as new before going to this place. Honestly if I could give 0 stars it would be better.
It used to be enjoyable going to Pick and Pull in Sparks, NV. Now they rarely pay anything for the cars that they buy, yet the prices for the parts you pull keep escalating. Nothing like a 150% profit.
Carson City Pick and Pull is better in every way possible!
Pretty disappointed. I've been to many many pick n pulls and this one is one of the worst ones in terms of service although they all seem to be going downhill. I checked their inventory on row52 and had two vehicles with a fender that looked great in the picture, however, when I arrived I found that both were crumpled up and ruined by careless handling by the forklift operator that put them there. Taking a quick look around you can see many instances of vandalism and things such as smashed windows and and other ruined parts. I am starting to think that it just isn't worth my time to even bother with these self service type yards even though they often are the only option for older vehicles.
I go here all the time and usually get pretty good service but for some reason this morning it was far from that. The attendant up front deflected every question I had. I sincerely wanted to spend my money there but for some reason I was told that the manager would decide how much to change me for the part, but only after I went and pulled it off of the vehicle. I politely explained to him I only have so much money and really would rather not waste a couple hours of my time pulling the part just to possibly not be able to afford it in the end. I couldn't speak to a manager and the associate told me he doesn't know what to tell me. Very dissapointed with pick n pull, such a simple question for a basic part and they would rather turn me away.
This is one of the few places that you can not only pull your own Parts in Reno, but has an affordable price for the majority of items.
If you decide that you want to go and look for car parts, make sure you call ahead to see whether or not they have your vehicle there. The new management roles through Hardware much quicker than the old.
Prices are decent, but you cannot be guaranteed that anything that you want is actually available. It's a shame that they don't manage the monitoring of other people - they had several cars which I was interested in pulling parts from, but a prior person had completely destroyed the interior pulling the single part they wanted.
The best place to find those parts for your auto the stores all have to order in. Literally walked up to a 1999 Saturn SC coupe and obtained the under hood fuse panel cover a mechanic misplaced while doing work on this car. I spent ten minutes here and left as a satisfied customer.
They have a decent selection of vehicles , but customer satisfaction is definitely not one of their main priorities. And they could also do better on their prices. They charged me nearly $40 for a wheel with a steel rim , I Am custom to pay in 15 with the steel rim 25 with an aluminum rim. I would say convenience would be the best thing they have going for them , If your customer tells you they need a spare to get to work and it's 5 feet away from him and you tell him at a quarter til 5 that there are no longer letting anyone in the gate that will not do much good for your business. Hope to see them make some changes in the near future .
I brought my son here to grab a couple parts for his car. It was easier than I anticipated to get in, get the parts, pay and get out. Prices for what we got were good. They provided useful maps to the cars we wanted to see. They were friendly and helpful.
They had some of the parts I needed, but prices were easily double that of better salvage yards. They tried to charge me $5 for a 3" piece of wire. They even charged me for a couple bolts that went with another part I pulled!!! That's all on top of the $2 admission fee and the B.S. 8% environmental fee. I left the yard shaking I was so mad. I will never be back to any Pick N Pull, and I would highly recommend avoiding this one!
