Place is decent - 3/5. The schedule is always full if you want to wait a week for your car. If you need any small jobs it doesn’t matter. Oil change, headlight, etc. I don’t get “customer focused” out of my experience and is my main point. Easier to service my car elsewhere in my experience.
My daughter goes to Wayne state and she has needed some help with her car twice now. Main Street garage was professional and got the job done quickly. Stopped in on a busy day today because she needed a battery, they got her taken care of quickly. Thank You
Busy shop that will do what they can to get your vehicle fixed up. They have replaced an engine and almost the full underside of one of my vehicles and have had no issues. Check them out next time you need to service your vehicle and see if they can impress you as well!
This place is great! Since they are so great, sometimes there is a bit of a wait for appointments, but it's worth it! Great customer service, knowledgeable techs, and Doug and Bridget always do their best to go above and beyond for everyone. I appreciate having them as part of our community! I definitely recommend them for all of your vehicle needs!
if i could give negative starts i would there way overpriced they will charge you 35 x a single plug dont go here its very overpriced very bad constumer service
My college daughter went into Main St today hoping they could just help determine if her tire was leaking as heading home from college in a couple days as the a tire looked pretty low. The gentleman checked promptly and filled all tires, and even told her to stop in before her trip home for him to double check them one more time. All at no cost and just so KIND! THANK YOU! So appreciate of your shop!

I had a leak in my tire that was losing pressure rapidly as I was passing through town. They had it fixed and got me back on the road in less than 20 minutes! Friendly service and reasonable pricing.
The only place I could get into same day in Wayne, great service, fair price. Gave me a heads up about spark plug replacement. Going back to get my AC fixed. All around recommend.
I would give them less than 1 star. They are either completely incompetent or crooks. They kept my car for a month, charged me a lot of money, didn’t fix my vehicle, broke a switch inside the vehicle and wouldn’t fix it what they broke. NEVER take your vehicle here. I will tell everyone I know in Wayne & surrounding communities that this place will not fix your vehicle & doesn’t stand by their word.
i always am pleased when i take my vehicles to Main Street Garage, Doug is very knowledgeable and fixes the problem right the first time, unlike some other shops that "try this fix" out. Bridget is always friendly on the phone or in person when i stop in.
Had a hiccup in the start of our 18 hour drive home.. we are very unfamiliar with this area. Someone here helped us immediately, No wait, and only charged us 10 bucks to get us going again. Very grateful. Thank you!!!
Main Street Garage went the extra mile on my car. They gave us a quote and stuck to it, even though twice as much labor was required to finish the job. I couldn't be happier with the job they did and I will definitely take my car back in the future!
This place is great!!! Recently I had a tire that kept going flat. I run my own business and I don't have time for any car issues. I called them and they said bring it down we'll get it fixed. In less than an hour it was done. I also (just yesterday) with the cold weather had a dead battery. I called the shop and Doug sent someone to jump my car... within 10 minutes. I then brought my car down to have the battery tested.. even though he was out of batteries (bc he already changed out 4 that morning) he had a battery there and changed out in less than 20 minutes. My daughter is a college student in Wayne. She had a mishap with a curb up there. Drove up there talked to Doug he said he thought he knew what might be wrong. Towed it to his shop and quoted me a price from repairs. Called me back a couple days later said it was done & it was half the price he quoted. Not many repair shops will be that honest! Will definitely use them again if needed! Thanks!

My brakes were grinding so i called in for an appointment. They couldn’t get me in till Monday, about half a week away. Which was absolutely fine, they’re busy and i can easily get rides from friends. When i went in they were awesome and didn’t try to talk me into anything with my car, they were able to do an oil change when i asked, the day of the appointment, which was really great. Awesome prices too.

I had to get some work done on my car, so I called ahead for pricing. It was decent so I took my car in. After the work was done, which I bought my own parts. They tried to charge me 2x what I was told on the phone. Oh no, so I argued my case and they finally brought it down to what it should have been.

My son just walked in there today while in college with a dead battery just needed it replaced . They told him they were too busy for a week to put a battery in!! Absolutely unbelievable!! 10 minute job!
I am a college student at WSC I live over 400 miles from home and this place has been absolutely nothing but welcoming and made me feel like I was at home. They do amazing work for a very reasonable price. Up front, honest, and don’t try to talk you into anything. Would recommend them to anyone!
Got into a small fender bender and was able to still have a drivable car. Got told I had to have it towed by not only the police, but "Ben" that works at this "bend you over a barrel and make you take it establishment." Ben specifically told me I couldn't drive it and that it would need towed even though I said let me park it out of the way around the corner, but he refused to let me and proceeded to tow it with the police. He towed it a total of 50 yards to his shop from the spot of the incident. I told him I'd be there in about 2 hours to pick it up. Sat on the lot for a total of about 3 hours and called up Ben to get my keys back. He proceeds to tell me that for a 50 yard tow, it will cost me $120. $120 for something I could have done with my car in neutral and 30 seconds of my time. Really? And then he proceeds to tell me that I didn't need to have it towed but it was my choice. I told him he told me these words exactly. " You're insurance is paying for it anyway." He knew he could charge the max allowed for insurance companies and get away with it and sit there and lie to me to get business. This is why mechanics and shops get bad reps. This lying and crooked shop should be avoided at all costs.
