Outlaw Steakhouse was a halfway meeting point for myself and some friends. Great food...I had the mushroom burger and sweet potato fries! We hung out and chatted for a long time and they kept our waters filled.
I was hoping for amazing, but my medium rare steak was well well done and zero red or even pink. i wasn't impressed but have heard great things. I'm hoping i just caught them on an off night.
We ate lunch here Today doing some work in the area. Our Service was great pleasant atmosphere...best prime rib sandwich I've had in years. Food made fresh, general portions & just a solid lunch for my crew!! Sadly, rare these days. Thank you!!!
Best prime rib we've ever had! Don't bother getting steak or prime rib anywhere else....nothing compares. We didn't get smoked prime rib but that is the only thing listed in the recommendations. We have gotten in in the past and didn't like it as much. Unfortunately I had a burger; not bad but I wouldn't get one again
Always have enjoyed the fried cod here during lent. It wasn’t the same tonight. Not the big thick chunks. More like thin strips like you’d get at frozen food selection ☹️
I really like this place. This is one of our go to restaurants in the Seward Nebraska area. The steaks and burgers are well seasoned and offer generous portions. It’s a small town bar with awesome food at a good price. The steaks are better than a lot of franchise steakhouses.
Prime rib was delicious. We drove from Columbus to attend the light show in Seward. Unfortunately, Seward does not have many dinning options, but we thankfully found this place on Google! We will definitely be back!!
Stopped here on the way home from a Husker game. Best Smoked Prime Rib ever. Service was excellent, food cam out fast. Been here before and last night was a reminder that I need to visit more often!
We went for prime rib night and it didn’t disappoint. Great, tender and juicy prime rib and a loaded baked potato made my evening! The drinks were nice and cold as well and our server was super friendly. Worth the drive out from Lincoln!
Worth getting outside of Lincoln for this little gem. Smoked Prime rib was delicious and the outlaw hash browns were yummy. Got there right at 5 on Saturday night. Barely beat all the traffic.
The waitress was excellent, friendly & intuitive handling and our needs she kept our glasses filled and checked on us regularly. The food was really good. We have returned regularly since we moves to Seward.
The environment is awesome. Staff is also great but I really thought I was gonna have some amazing steaks while in Nebraska and so far all have been OK. Stopped at this little dive bar in a town of less than 5000 and was really hoping for something special. Nonetheless the overall experience was good.
The beef supreme is the best along with their beer-battered fries! The prime rib is also excellent. So happy we have such a great place to eat close to home :)
We absolutely LOVE outlaw steakhouse! It's about a 25 minute drive from Lincoln but it is absolutely worth every time! Mark the owner is a great guy down to earth and really helpful. We go here I would say probably 4 or 5 times throughout the year and other than 1 time years ago getting a piece of very fatty prime rib that was taken care of right away we have never had bad food and always good service...Fridays and Saturdays night time gets crazy busy but understandably so IT'S AMAZING! GET THERE EARLY! And order the king cut smoked prime rib you will be so happy you did!!!! And if you leave Lincoln near sunset you can always catch a beautiful sunset in the drive out!
Gal must have been new. Had no idea what came with meal. Advertised with side but we were charged the main price plus a charge for each side. Prime rib was under cooked for a medium. Have to get the higher priced to get any flavoring. Over priced too. Changed from before when all was very good. little scared to go back.
We made the mistake of choosing to visit Saturday night. Bad idea. Early game and 1st day of Deer season. It was 2 hours from when we walked in until we left. My husband finally went to the bar to pay for our meal as our server was either oblivious to the fact that we were done, or so overworked she didn't care.
The catfish was good but not much there. The prime rib was dry and tough. They seriously needed at least 3 more wait staff and help in the kitchen.
The worst part was the uncontrolled kids, 1 - 7 year olds, who kept running back and forth with no parental supervision. There were so many times our server about ran into or tripped over these unruly brats. Made a very long dinner even longer as my frustration level kept going up with the lack of discipline shown by the parents of these children.
And the 4 12 year olds seated next to us were just as bad as the Mom's were totally oblivious to there constant up and down and getting in everyone's way.
Not sure we'll make the short drive from Lincoln again. I prefer some quiet when I'm trying to eat out.
I ordered the smoked prime rib with mushrooms and onions and it was ok. My grand-daughter ordered the new york strip medium rare, it was more medium and very thin and very very dry. My husband ordered the fish and chips and he said his fish was very dry. My grand-son had the grilled cheese and fries and thought it was great. We will not be making the trip from Lincoln to Garland for a while.
Great food and good service on a Friday night...our waitress Mindy was wonderful while it was very busy. However, I noticed that the bartender (tall, long dark hair girl) cleared the table and I saw her take our bill and our cash tip and put it in her tip jar on the bar. Did my waitress get her $20 cash tip??? Please check into this....very wrong of her to be taking the hard-earned tips of the other waitresses.
It has been awhile since I have been here and I am not sure why! This was great! The food was hot and delicious! The mushrooms on my steak were the best I have had in a long time! Our server was wonderful and friendly!! She was just a delight! They were busy and its because the food is so good! We will be back!!
A little out of the way but both food and service was amazing!!! Smoked prime rib was 10 stars out of 5 rating. The Blue cheese dressing was also pretty incredible.
Neat little hidden gem in a small town. Prime Rib is pretty good & fair priced & staff is good as well. Weekends seem to draw a big crowd of hungry folks. Not the best Prime Rib I have ever had but its a solid top 5. No need to dress up come as you are & enjoy some food & drinks.
