Jeremy was amazing and went way out of his way to rescue m and my friend who were stranded and got my van running again even after running to 2 diffrent towns for parts.
I had no idea that Summers Auto was located just east of Central City til my mechanic said my car was too big of a job for his shop and he recommended Jeremy. My 2014 Ford escape needed a new transmission. Jeremy was able to get me a new tranny with a great warranty. He got the tranny in and started on my car immediately as he knew I needed it back. Things didn’t go smoothly with the repairs but Jeremy always communicated with me what the status of it was. It ended up also needing a new turbo. Jeremy got everything fixed and made sure it was going to be a good running car for me. Jeremy’s customer service is unmatched, He is truly out to help people and keeps his prices reasonable. Highly recommend and I know he will be getting my family’s business from now on.
Replaced timing chain on a 2011 Buick Enclave along with struts and plugs. Did an excellent job in a timely manner at an affordable rate. Very friendly and communicated well. Did excellent work.

I had a recurring issue with my truck starting. Sometimes it would start, but most of the time it wouldn’t. I had it towed to Dinsdale, Grand Island, and it cost $2000 plus. an and when they found out, I was still having a problems blocked my call Even after that, the problem persisted.I was driving by Summer Auto on my way to Columbus and decided to give them a call. They towed my truck for a much lower price than anyone else, and they also fixed the problem in just one day at a reasonable price.
Christmas Eve 2025,I was headed home with my family to Central City. About 40 miles from town on I-80 our car broke down. My mom called a couple two truck company's& then got ahold of Jeremy. He dropped everything to head to his shop, get his tow truck& get to us ASAP! So grateful he was quick to action& knew immediately what needed to be done to have our van up& running! Jeremy and they guys at his shop are outstanding! They are true to their word and do great work. Jeremy has come through for us every single time, going above and beyond. Including going to Kearney in a snow storm to take my daughter her car and tow our Nissan back to his shop in Central City. He is the kindest person and does great work at a reasonable price. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about him and his employees. They have done three jobs for us now and I will never take my autos to anyone else.
eremey is a very honest and trustworthy man. We have bought several vehicles from him and never been disappointed. Within the last six months he has put two different engines. In to two different vehicles for us and they have not given us any issues.
He also does towing. I had two instances were we needed to call him. He was at the scene within thirty minutes to an hour. The first one my daughter flipped her vehicle. He not only arrived quickly but was very efficient and compassionate. He flipped the car back over and than towed it back home. Not to mention he charges way less than an actual tow would have. The second time. We were in Hastings and It was around midnight and our pitman arm fell off the truck. We called Jeremey and he came in the middle of the night to help tow us home.
I just bought my daughter another car from him last night. I was running late coming back from Omaha (another midnight night). He still let me pick the car up and had everything ready to go when I got there. He sure made my daughter smile.
I couldn't ask for a more trustworthy honest mechanic. I would trust him with anything I own. Highly recommend!
And this guy right hear knows what he's doing. I don't take my vehicles to nobody but him. I have a 2024 Dodge Ram. That nobody touches, but him. I'd rather take it to him than the place I got it from so if you want your car fixed and fixed right take it to summer's auto. I have a 2005 toyota Tundra had a little bit of a break issue. Nobody else could figure out what was wrong with it. But Jeremy figured it out,in about 5 minutes and he fixed. The problem. At a good rate, and now we don't have that problem. Anymore, he has done a lot of work on my 2005 tundra. To the point where I don't think anything can go wrong with that truck right now. Knock on wood And if it did I just call him?
