The towing driver was extremely nice, patient, and professional. He made sure me and my co-driver (my sister) were safely brought to the truck stop, and he even went out of his way to take us to our hotel since our tractor had to go to the dealership late at night. We really appreciated his kindness and the extra effort he put in to make sure we were okay. Highly recommend!

This place is the jam!!! Went above and beyond just a tow. Broke down loaded with pigs then rescue truck snapped a joint getting under the trailer. These gentlemen sold us a u joint and lent us some ease outs so we could get them pigs rolling! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Don't trust the cheap guys call Herbst Towing!

I got my RV stuck and called Herbst. They arrived in a matter of minutes even though it was after hours. GREAT SERVICE

Shame on me for not getting the drivers name. But my car carrier was broken down on highway 83. I use to own a shop and know quite a few about on how tow truck driver do their job and know the difference on how not to damage anything. This driver was not only very courteous but didn’t skip a beat. Kudos to this company and this driver. I would highly recommend this company to anybody.

Had justin come and help me with my tow was great had me at a shop in less than 30 mins gave me a ride and offered me a ride to the store to get food or to a hotel overall i really recomed them for your tow needs and price was low

I Called to get pricing on towing. some lady answered the phone very rude and stated what is it that you need as if I was bothering her. this place is very unprofessional and I would never use or refer them to anyone

They saved our day with a tow to North Platte, called around for us to find the correct size tire and took us to the place that put the tire on. The truck was clean, fantastic driver, very comfortable with him. I have been frazzled so forget his first name but last name is Herbst. If you need a tow, this is the place to call!

We really appreciate how quick they were to get our coach off I80. They were professional, polite and made our road side emergency a lot less stressful. We come through here several times a year, and we know if we ever break down again, we will only be calling Herbst towing. Great family business. Only one equipped to pull our big boy.

I would recommend calling them anytime. They came out after I had another local wrecker service come out and told me that I needed two trucks to get me out of my situation. They showed up within an hour had me out. Reasonably priced. Both gentlemen were very friendly. And did not damage my equipment at all. i’d like to say I’d use them again but I hope not. lol.

Five stars is not enough to express our gratitude. First and foremost they are considerate, they knew that if they did not come before I 80 open back up we would have been stuck there much much longer. They were quick and friendly. I recently had to be towed in to the loves truckstop in North Platte, NE....my semi gelled up solid and gary herbst came to my rescue. He had me hooked up and headed for the shop in no time...had a awesome conversation with him on the way to the shop and when we parted ways we both had smiles on our faces. The next day he call me to check to see if I had gotten the truck going which I had and he said ok just thought I would see if you needed anything or any help, ect...if I ever need a wrecker in this area again there is only one company I'm calling and that Herbst towing....if I could give 10 stars I would thank you everyone for all your help and service

The service was excellent. I was contacted regarding ETA by the dispatcher and my driver was there earlier than that. Justin was great he was very communicative, experienced and could really navigate that Big Beautiful KW. I recommend you go with Herbst Towing any time your in a pinch.

"My name is Chris Vaughn, and I experienced a breakdown with my box truck earlier today on 11/8/23 in North Platte, Nebraska. I had to call a tow truck, and the company I contacted, Herbert Towing and Recovery, impressed me with their swift response. They provided an estimated arrival time of 30 minutes but arrived in just 22 minutes, which was quicker than I've ever experienced. The tow truck operator, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, efficiently hooked up my truck in less than 10 minutes, demonstrating professionalism throughout the process. He was courteous and made the situation stress-free. He towed my truck to the Peterbilt, and as I was getting it checked in, he promptly unhooked it and even offered to take me to my hotel. I highly recommend Herbert Towing and Recovery for their excellent service.

Called for a tow, was told the driver would be arriving in 45 minutes. Driver was early got hooked up and towed me into the repair shop. He asked if I was going to stay with my vehicle or if I needed a ride anywhere. I was staying with my vehicle. Best tow company in the area. I highly recommend Herbst towing!!!!

I called on Thursday evening to schedule a Friday morning tow from Ogallala to Peterbilt in North Platte. Scheduled time was 9am and Justin backed up my truck 9am. We arrived at the dealer and quickly settled the bill. The rate was similar to companies around the country. The personality of dispatch and driver was priceless!

Your expertise was outstanding just like your rig.The price you offered was the most fair off all the companies I called. Thank you for trying your best to get us off the road as fast as you were able to. Even though it sacks to be on the hook, you made it as pleasant as you were able to. Highly recommended.

He went well above and beyond the Call of Duty to help me while traveling from Wisconsin to Denver, he was a great resource and was able to connect me with somebody to get the repairs on my car done after hours. He is very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable I'm has some of the nicest equipment are you seen in a long time, and back in Wisconsin, I work for a towing company. Is a great example of what a towing company should be. I'm glad he is three states away, because he would be very hard to compete with! ?

As a truck driver there's a lot we have to put up with but getting cursed out for doing your job is not what you expect from a towing company. Some People are just not good at all. And to think I had a BROTHER that lost his life protecting a country full of people like this can make you feel some type of way.

My company had a damaged loaded trailer towed by this company. My husband and I were dispatched to this location with an empty trailer to get the load transferred. We arrived early..not clear of when they start to transfer the load. After waiting for three hours...I decided to call the office to get directions. A woman answered the phone and was very rude. After I explained to her why we were there and wanted to know about the loaded trailer. She rudely told me to wait until 9am and hung up the phone. Shortly after my husband decided to go in and talk to someone about the load. Before he could speak...this elder white man ask him with f@#k he wanted. My husband asked him to calm down and the man got worse and proceeded to curse my husband out. I am advising my company to never use them again. Very ignorant, unprofessional people.

Worst company to deal with. Driver was broke down we called them and they said they would send a truck that was at 8:10 am took them 2 hrs to show up. The truck was 52 miles from them. When they called for payment they charged us 5.00 a running mile both ways another 400+ to hook up to it and when I told her I thought that was rediculous and high way robbery she threatened to go hook up again and impound it and charge another 400+ plus impound fees. Very rude ppl and not worth the headache
