Brought in the same material 2 different time and they put it down as one thing first time and totally different the next time then get told nothing they can do it's at the scale operators choice got ripped off
I was traveling through town and had some scrap. I stopped by and it was a very fast and smooth transaction. The guy at the counter was extremely pleasant. My visit was good. Only made $17 but that's okay for stuff I found in the trash.
The people that work here are a lot friendlier than some of the other scrap metal places. They took the time to tell me how to separate things and we're patient with my questions Plus they also give a pretty good price.
I prefer Alters vs Kramers recycling. I like the friendliness of the staff at alters and they are usually pretty fair when it comes to pay outs. I would definitely refer them to anybody needing to recycle pretty much any metal, batteries, appliances, electronics, vehicles, ect. The owner Ken Barber is a super cool guy.
It was great the guy that manages it is a super nice guy The galit Works in there is very good looking the awful hot she got the prettiest eyes I've ever seen
Took cans there. The man made me put them in with other cans but the container was way too full so my cans went flying all over down the street.....of course it was a windy day here in GI and..... said there was moisture in the cans..... what ever he was just mad because I told him he should have brought a EMPTY container in the FIRST PLACE OH WELL
I've been there three times. All bad. The woman running the front desk is rude and not very helpful. Signage is poor for how to approach scales. First time there I waited inside for 10 minutes while she flirted with another employee. When she finally acknowledged I was there, yelled at me for "blocking her scale".
Was turned away today @11:45am because I was "there at the last minute". Hauled from 25 minutes away to be turned away. Never again.
