Amazingly awsome food. Saturday nights are wonderful.. Prim Rib is the special but you may also order off the menu.... Always a soup of the day, them The salad bar is OFF THE CHAIN GOOD with a large variety of salads and the desert bar generally has 3 different kin of cakes .. People come from miles to attend this Steak House in small town USA.. Terry and his wife are triely good at what they do... If you are coming work a group over 4 weeks pokie your time frame give them a call for a reservation.. .. REMINDER: The early bird catches the work do her there early on Sat evening because they do get very busy and wasn't to be known for there truly focused attention on each and every patron... OH FORGOT ONE THING: They do have mixed drinks, On Tap, Bottle and Xan Beer and those prices are not gouging you other. Go - enjoy a great meal !!!!

I have been coming here once a month for a few years. Great steaks and amazing salad bar.

Drove over to have the prime rib. Ordered the 12oz to split. I have to say it was the worst price of meat we have ever had. We should have said something but they were busy and we didn't want to raise a stink. It was like trying to cut and chew shoe leather. We feel we wasted our 40 bucks! Needless to say we won't be back or recommend this place

I found out about this restaurant a few months ago, and I am so glad I tried it. From the outside, the building doesn't look like a restaurant. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. Inside is a small town combination bar and small restaurant. When you go in, you seat yourself. A friend and I sat in a booth which was very comfortable. For my beverage, I asked for a Coke with no ice. After studying the menu, I asked for the Swiss mushroom burger with hash browns. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich with some mozzarella sticks. It didn't take long to get our food. The burger was amazing. Even before I took a bite, the scent of the burger was very good. The quality of the bun, the meat, the mushrooms, and the cheese were all great. The hashbrowns were perfect. I was also impressed with the mozzarella sticks. The seasoning that was used tasted very good. My friend was very pleased with his chicken sandwich. I highly recommend Terry's as a place to try if you are ever near Virginia. Sometimes the best food comes from locally owned restaurants in small towns.

Great place! Small town diner feel and fantastic food. We had the whiskey steak meal and the steak was just as tender as a top dollar tenderloin. This will definitely be on our regular date night rotation.

Terry was closing up when we arrived and graciously insisted thst we stay and he would fire up the grill for anything on the menu! We had delicious burgers and company! Thank you Terry!!

It wasn't very busy and it took about 45 minutes to get a cheese burger special, and crinkle fries, Unfortunately the place was not busy. And the crinkle fries were straight fries the Cheeseburger was dry and had no taste could use Some salt on it or seasoning.

Just out and about for a date night and we decided on Terry's Steakhouse in Virginia, NE. Very happy with our choice. My wife had the 16oz parmesan crusted ribeye with baked potato, she said it was the best steak she has had in a long while. I kept it simple with a patty melt and curly fries, very good. Not soggy and over dressed like most other places, and the bread was actually grilled! Great food, cute atmosphere, good small town hospitality! I highly recommend stopping in, cause we will be back!!

As always the food was great, service was fast and friendly. The place is about as relaxing as they come. We still need to make it there for prime rib night but that's another adventure!

This place is becoming our weekly weekend destination, as Terry's talent gets fully showcased on Saturday nights, with the prime rib special. Generous portions of perfectly prepared prime rib, and quality libations.. Terry's gives us a small glimpse of what we hope that Heaven must be like. Other beef selections are available, with the rib eye steaks cooked to order, and a variety of presentations offered. The battered pollock basket and patty melt sandwich are consistently savory. The soup/salad bar is always enjoyable, no matter what flavors happen to be available on a particular visit. Well worth the short drive by most, and enjoyed by many local communities. So glad we were told about this hidden gem.

We had a great time and a wonderful meal. The owners Terry and Kay were amazing and so friendly. Kay made us their famous hash browns and they didn’t disappoint in addition to the prime rib! Will come back! #daydrinkinggirls

This is some of the best food you will find. I have only been there twice(2 nights in a row) and both steaks I had were perfect.

I have 0 complaints or suggestions for improvement. The food is flavorful and possibly even underpriced. The staff is superbly friendly. The beer is ice cold and it just has that unmistakable small town feel with a big steakhouse taste.

My husband and I have been here 3 times and every time was excellent! Steaks are always cooked to perfection! Was a little disappointed last night that the only prime rib left was well done. We will make it a point to get there earlier!

The food was amazing, the waitresses are nice, the wait is about 10-15 minutes depending on how busy they are! It's a family friendly place, and usually play football or others sports on their TV's.

We've eaten here several times after seeing a review in the Lincoln paper. We have had excellent food and friendly service every time. The salad bar comes with the meal (Friday and Saturday only) and features homemade salads, it also includes homemade deserts and everything is great. Our main courses have been excellent every time. This last time my husband had the flatiron steak and I had the whiskey steak. Both had excellent flavor and were very tender. Prices aren't cheap, but are very reasonable for what you get (around $15-20 for a generous size steak which includes that fabulous salad bar and a side dish). Virginia is a little out of the way and there is not really any other reason to go there, but it is definitely worth the trip!

Big fan. It's in what used to be a bar, and you can tell. The set-up is some booths against one wall and then loose tables in the middle of the floor. It has a very small-town feel to it and you can tell that most of the people who come in are from the area. They do short orders M-Th with the full menu (prime rib and other specials) available on F-Sa (closed Sunday). We (5 adults) showed up at about 530 pm on Saturday. We did have a reservation, but it wasn't entirely necessary. Reservations for spots after 630 pm on Friday and Saturday are probably a good idea (the place was pretty full when we were winding up). There was a decent little salad bar that included a soup (mushroom on that night) and two desserts (a simple chocolate cake and a white cake with rhubarb). Our party had two prime ribs (pretty damn good), a windsor loin (amazing), shrimp (very good) and a patty melt (ok, but that's the opinion of the finicky-est member of the crew). The sides were all potato based. Three of us (including me) had the broiled potatoes. I loved them, but the other two just thought they were okay. The garlic mashed and the fries were quite good. They have beer, wine and liquor, but not a super extensive selection (perhaps foolishly, I'd hoped for a pre-dinner Dewars, which they did not have). Most of us were stuffed to the rafters when we were done, but one person had pie. In the cake v. pie wars, I'm decidedly in Camp Cake. However, if all pie were like Terry's pie, I'd have to reconsider my allegiance. It's homemade and fantastic. Here goes: Food: 4.5 stars. The meats were a very high quality and were cooked appropriately. The sides were quite good and the pie is amazing. Not everything they do is homemade (they use pre-breaded chicken fried steak, for example), but everything we had that night was homemade and it was great. Price: 5 stars. A fantastic value for high quality meat. I'm not going to lie and say this place is Gary Danko or French Laundry, but what I will say is this: I've had lower quality meat for a much higher price in other steak houses. I can't speak to everything on the menu, but the prime rib and the windsor loin were very good on their own and they were fantastic for the price. Ambiance: 4 stars. I never know how to do this part. It was not a fancy place. It's not going to blow you away with opulent mahogany wood work or crazily interesting design choices. It's a simple place that used to be a bar. By the same token, they're not pretending at any of that stuff either. They know who they are and they hit the pitches they can hit. It's clean and it's organized. I have a real soft spot for unassuming places and, frankly, I dug what they did. Service: 3.5 stars. Everyone that served us was attentive and helpful. One of the women who served us was Kay (the wife of the owner, she helps on the weekend) and she was particularly great. I'm giving them a lower score because it was quite slow. I think we were the first people that night to do the bigger orders and they were still sort of ramping up to speed. Again, they were great and all 5 of us will be going back, but multiple tables which arrived after us (and ordered simpler items) were served before us. Everyone did everything they could to accommodate us, but it was a bit slow. If I could, I'd give 4.5 stars.
