Absolutely horrible experience called to ask about a part and they said I cant look it up cause im nkt allowed to and then had to go to the store to find out the piece I needed wasn't in stock and I had to walk maybe 15 feet from the counter to look for it the place is not friendly and got recorded because I said something under my breath talking to myself left snd came back for a manger card and then they said no and started recording me
I was traveling on a LONG trip with a trailer and was 400 miles away from my destination when the nut holding on the ball on the hitch came off. Miraculously, I was able to safely pullover after nearly losing the trailer after it jumped out of the hitch. This store saved my trip by helping me select a new ball and correctly installing it for me. Advance Auto rocks!
I generally don't review places because I've missed the mark myself before and wouldn't want it advertised all over but I ordered a power steering reservoir cap and it's been 4 days since they claimed it was coming from a store 50 miles away. I've called everyday to see if it's there and it's one excuse after another. So far I've been told I ordered to late the first day then it was orders didn't show up then the third day he said he didn't know why it was not there then as of today it was blamed on the delivery driver not doing his job at the North Platte store and when I asked if it would be there tomorrow since the car I'm working on for a customer has been sitting four days all he had for me was that he wouldn't wait if he were me. I've been a mechanic in this area for 25 years and as of today I will not return to advance auto parts in Lexington Nebraska which is sad because it used to be the only store I would go to.
My friend and I went in and bought a set of sockets he did open them but not iced they weren’t metric so we took them back and asked to exchange them Oscar was very friendly but Hector Leon was very rude and should not be working in sales or working with people at all. And yes I stood up and said something back. It was an honest mistake on my friends part.
Just wanted to leave a shout out to Jana at store 5605! She was bright and bubbly when letting us in at 730am. Helped us get the parts we needed as we took up about 3 hours to get my husband's radio working on his motorcycle! She was a pleasure to come into contact this morning. Thank you again Jana for all the help from Caroline store 8018 in swansboro, Nc.
They were quick to test my battery and upon inspection noticed it was leaking. Sold and installed a new battery and I was quickly on my way again. Wasn't so happy about having to replace the battery, especially with the cost of those now. But not their fault and they were very friendly and professional. Please visit them for all of your auto parts needs.
Can't thank this place enough. The manager here is the best kinda person you can hope for in the world.
I was broken down on the side of the freeway, far from home on a road trip. Called this place and he took care of everything I needed and even guided me through the repair. Ended up my alternator died and I needed a replacement. Got everything done in his lot. Saved me a ton both in time and money.
I went in for windshield washer fluid but Janet and Joshua were so friendly and helpful that I felt comfortable asking questions and ended up with a few more items that I really needed but had previously felt stupid asking about. Joshua even installed the wipers on my car before I got out of the store.
More oftern than not I get "no, but we can order you one". Sales reps don't really care if you order or go somewhere else. I have not been impressed for quite a while.
The new manager Chris has been alot of help and if he isnt available then hopefully Mrs Jana is there to help. They have helped save money and help make sure we got the right parts that we needed for our truck. They will talk to you like a human being and go through each detail if you dont understand. I will not be going to another parts store for any parts. Advance Auto in Lexington NE is the only parts store i will go to and send friends to.
First of all Chris the new manager is hands-down the best store manager Advance Auto has employed ! going out of his way to help customers quickly and efficiently and speaks to the customers like their human and for that reason I will no longer use any other parts house other than Advance Auto in Lexington Nebraska and from now on all of my four by four buddies friends and family will bring their business to his store and Miss Jana and the other lady named Kris both of these ladies are awesome at quickly and efficiently finding and tracking down the right parts so when something breaks or simply needs to be replaced ask for one of these three people and they will get you moving quickly and efficiently and on your way a huge thank you to Chris the store manager and Miss Jana and Miss Kris thank you for all your help
The staff at this location is was the most helpful and friendly I have seen. On Sun 06/22/14 I was in a situation where I was stuck in Lexington, NE after my truck AC went out and broke my serpentine belt due to the bad part. They did not have the AC part but bent over backwards to help me find a solution to get me and my family back on the road to our destination. I can not thank them enough for how they helped me and I hope they can get you back on the road too.
