Absolutely the worst experience ever!! Called at 830am asking for a part, was told they had it and would pull it off and let me know when it was ready but needed a deposit to pull it. Provided card info for the deposit and waited around for a call..1:30 no call. Called to check status and was told it was “being pulled now” by an extremely RUDE worker who claimed at first to not have any clue what I was talking about. 4:30pm go in to check on status and still no part, get treated extremely rude and get informed that it “may be ready by 5:30 but no guarantee”. All day of waiting for a door hinge!! Horrible customer service, rude, absolutely no motivation to provide parts for customers, demand deposits to pull parts but don't want to make efforts to provide parts. Needless to say didnt get the part i waited all day for!! Will never attempt to do business with them again.
Had an affordable glass sunroof assembly for my 90 Honda Accord EX shipped quickly and cheaply with very minimal bruises. Even the sunroof motor works flawlessly.
I was very pleased with this transaction compared to other yards in the region I called from co-part.com's database.

Awesome place for finding cheap parts. The guy there is very friendly and knowledgeable and got a pretty big kick out of my being a YouTube certified mechanic joke that I made. Overall if u need used parts, I would recommend going there. Check it out! I give it a 9/10 and 5 stars on the service I received but it's a used salvage parts place they aren't gonna have every item u need for vehicle sometimes it depends on the inventory they have.
Proceed with caution when shipping. Ran into some foot dragging when claiming a refund from City Limits, of express shipping charges after their shipper delivered the shipment late. Otherwise very good experience. Staff very good. The used part was very good. "Boss" Matt should have a longer fuse, and should read a book on basic principles of law. Hint: Legally you can't retain express shipping charges where your shipper (FOB destination) fails to fulfill the contracted arrival time. A prompt refund of the shipping charges, which were refunded anyway, would have made this transaction a home run.
I recently needed a radiator for my pick-up, had ordered one at NAPA in GI and all I got was a headache. After calling City Limits and telling them the story, they ordered me the right one with no strings attached if there were problems, It was all good. I recommend City limits Auto Salvage & Supply, good friendly people that know their stuff and no hassle
told me they would be here to pick up a car like three different times.. never showed up, never contacted us.. Called back and asked why. he was very rude.. snotty and said just sell it> i said. I was trying to NOT do that and to ensure that I did the right thing and kept it for him because.. it was the professional thing to do.. HE was again, quite rude.. just STUNNINGLY unreliable when you are trying to give them a car with brand new tires and parts.. imagine what they'd be like if you were buying parts from them. as per his comments.. he had offered 200 dollars for the car. we took 100 LESs because as we told him. we wanted to get it out of the drive. NOT only did he not show up. he didn't show up after making an appointment THREE TIMES. and for the record. .we were told it would be 2-3 weeks and its been four. While I am empathetic with the issues on staffing. unless your phone stopped working. I left my phone number several times so .. are you having communication failures too? as to trying to contact us. STRAIGHT up lie. I work from a home office and am in the office 12 hours a day. good try though.
These guys are a life saver. When my mirror broke i, for the life of me, couldn't find one that wasnt wallet emptying until i came across these guys who had one. I cant thank these guys enough.
Tons of parts you won't find anywhere else, and although the atmosphere can be coarse at times, it's a salvage yard. As far as quality, the 3 engines we have bought all run great and were as advertised and no issues with any of the small parts either. From what I've seen and heard doing much better business than many others in the business!
I hope that the new owner of what used to be Mid City Auto gets a handle on things and what they cost I could not believe my ears when I went in there to buy some 15 inch hubcaps and they wanted $30 a hubcap I offered 15 a hubcap and I thought that was even high and they declined the offer I doubt that I'll ever go back there.
Worst customer service I have ever encountered! Owner likes to use profanity towards his customers. No one should be spoke to that way. Especially by the business owner himself.
This place is a joke! No customer service from this guy! Buyer beware that if you buy anything used the warranty is trash like his business. Owner uses vulgar language over the phone when he gets upset. I wouldn’t take anything here! A friend of mine bought a used transmission and he won’t make it right with them! He sold a transmission with no reverse. Then he tried and blame it on a good hard working mechanic that the family knows. They even got a second opinion from BG&S transmissions and agreed that the transmission was bad.
Great place with a huge supply of old parts and plenty of newer ones a well. That Matt guy needs a raise! Not only did he have the parts I needed ready to go, but was very knowledgeable about any of the questions regarding the parts I was buying A+ will be coming back!

Guys have great used obsolete parts at fair prices, I called ahead from Missouri to verify parts were available and they had them sorted and selected for me to look at when I arrived. I liked them so much I am a repeat customer and I also refer other people to them when I see posts for part searches related to parts I bought from them. Their parts are stored inside a very large warehouse and are great parts. Call the 800 toll free number and check them out to see if they have what you need. I did and couldn't be happier with these guys!! I gave them 5 stars out of 5 stars, because IMHO they deserved it.
