Stefan was so accommodating & kind. He helped us figure out what to do with the car- called a mechanic & took us somewhere cool as we waited to see if the car could be fixed.
Just absolute amazing people to work with. We had a trailer that was out of service and needed help asap. They got to us in a timley manner towed the truck and trailer to their facility and got everything fixed in a few hours. If we ever have an issue in Montana again this will be the first company we call. 10 STARS!!

The person on the phone is very responsive (he probably the owner) I glad we found their company in July 2024 to tow our Volvo with loaded RGN trailer, they also helped to fix the transmission shifter.

Nick was awesome. He showed up less than 30 minutes after we called a tow. He was friendly, efficient and let our pup ride in the cab with us so she wouldn’t be freaked out in the towed vehicle. They also quoted a reasonable price for the towing to final location. Thanks for coming to get us- we appreciate the service!
Very friendly and prompt service. The county deputy called a local tow truck for us when our vehicle broke down, and I was very satisfied with the service from this company. I’ve never needed a tow on a personal vehicle before (only have heard horror stories), but their prices were very reasonable. And the tow truck driver provided very helpful recommendations on where to take our vehicle to get fixed! Hopefully I don’t need another tow for a while😂, but I’d trust Whitehall.
Called in when my truck broke down up the hills from them, they were quick and fair on towing price, clutch broken after it’s fixed and found out transmission is tossed, they borrow me their personal car to drive around town and to Idaho.
Very friendly and helpful people. They were able to dispatch a wrecker quickly to tow my semi and were very reasonably priced. And honest, the price they quoted over the phone is exactly what they charged with no surprises.
If I ever need help again anywhere near Whitehall, MT they will be the first company that I call. I would recommend them to anyone, especially any other owner/operators
It's nice too know that their honest good people still in this world. Rented a truck and this was our return location. Which is a few hours from home. Unknowingly I had some tire issues with personal vehical and intrusted our vehicle as it was safe leave at their location with no problem. The rental truck which was picked up from another location had some minor issues nothing to big they kindly helped us resolve them. It's nice to know that we can trust a stranger as if they were family. Honest hard working people here in small town Montana. And even led us to another business which had the same family feel. Had a radiator hose that was leaking bad. Called and they were willing to get my truck in when he got there. Fixed the problem quickly and got him on his way. Would definately use them again. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!

Didn't attach chains to car on the dolly. Is that bad? Let me down grade from a 22 foot to a 16 at the last minute. Thankful they had one on property that wasn't spoke for.

On Wednesday May 26 2021 I had an engine code that had to due with the dreaded scr/def/exhaust system and the engine power was derated, I was in Butte Montana when this happened and the closest repair shop in Butte said that they couldn’t look at the truck until next week, another shop that I called just went to voicemail. I walked into the entrance of a truck stop in Butte and they had a bulletin board with advertisements tacked up all over it but one business card stuck out and it was for Whitehall Truck&Tow in Whitehall Montana, I called them and they said yes we can check out the codes as soon as you get here and they did just that! The part was ordered and delivered the next morning and it was installed and I was on my way before noon, from there I have been to Spokane Washington and back to Omaha Nebraska with out any more issues with the scr/def exhaust system. I strongly recommend Whitehall towing and repair.
Best auto shop I've ever been to. Awesome awesome people. True version of how people should be. And I pulled in with a blown airbag and they went above and beyond what they needed to do.

Needed to get a car off the freeway about 15 miles outside Whitehall (but wasn't sure if it was still there).
Kevin went out, found the car, pulled it back to his lot for storage...without a question.
After flying in from Colorado, he went out of his way to get me the car and charged me a very reasonable rate for everything he did!
Burned up a bearing on our Travel Trailer on our way to Glacier NP, which damaged the axle. Had to replace the entire axle, brakes, bearings assembly. They worked overtime & got us back on the road a couple hours after the parts arrived. Good people, and fair prices. We would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of their kindness!
Highly recommend (if you are unfortunate enough to need their services!). Broke down in Three Forks, MT and needed a tow to Butte to do some diagnostics. Kevin was very helpful and easy to arrange with on the phone, and they used a flat rate such that my stingy GEICO roadside assistance would cover it all (52 miles instead of the allotted 36 miles). Dave, the driver, showed up and was quick and professional. He even waited around patiently while the mechanic checked things at the shop to see if we would need to tow it on to Missoula. Thank you to Kevin and Dave for your speedy help during a tough time!
These guys are professionals! My truck stalled in the middle of I-94 with coolant issue. They act so quickly to the right place and fixed it in about 15 minutes! I’m so happy that we have professionals like they are! Thank you guys!!!!!!
Gotta say some of the best people I've ever had to deal with. Lost some studs on my trailer and Kevin came out, assessed the situation, had me baby it in to their shop which saved me a ton of money had they done the work there in the rest area. Took me out to lunch while waiting on parts, very down to earth people who do take pride in their work and business. Would highly recommend them if you break down around their area. They have what ever size wrecker may be needed and very professional. Very reasonable on their prices as well. Certainly expected the bill to be higher than it was. Just want to thank the whole bunch there for making my day alittle easier and very much more pleasant seeing how I was broke down. Great job.
I had the greatest experience w/Whitehall T & T repair.
My travel trailer threw the right rear tire, rim & all, 30 mi outside Yellowstone. I was able to connect to Whitehall’s mechanic, Daniel, who advised me to wait ‘til morning, due to nobody being open for parts.
First thing in morn, Daniel showed up in a slight rain storm & set to work. Everything came off ok. No major damage, just replace ALLlugs that sheared off. Tire was good.
Best part was when Daniel informed me they don’t take credit cards, but took checks. I wrote my check, but due to road weariness, forgot to transfer funds.
I got a call from Kevin to say it bounced. I explained & said as soon as I had access, I’d transfer funds.
His response: “Hey! Don’t worry about it. Daniel said you weren’t like that & were a stand up guy. Have fun. Don’t worry. I won’t repost it for a week.”
Are you kidding me??? Trusting a stranger, becuz your mechanic said I was good for it? Geeeez!
I called to tell them money was moved & submit the check. I returned home, before they sent it in.

WOW, this 24/7 Tow Truck Company left me speechless! This family owned business is absolutely incredible. Consists of hard workers who know what they are doing. They give you their 100% and nothing less. When you walk into the shop you feel welcomed. They give you the honest truth on what your dealing with, and they do all they can to get you back on the road. They have provided rides to airports for broke down drivers, or if your stuck in town until a part gets delievered they put you into a hotel (with a vehicle to use)! The owner and his family are so kind hearted, only good things from this place. Highly recommend!!
Dan was one of the kindest people I've ever met. He went out of his way to help my friends and I after we hit a deer over 1,000 miles from home. Its nice to know that there are still good people in this world.
STAY AWAY. my bearings on my transmission broke and i found the closest shop near me so i came in and the price for labor was $1000 and i was there for 3 DAYS. They would do whatever just not to work and the workers there are idiots. They didnt even put oil into my transmission after changing it, i didnt notice bit i drove all the way to seattle to realize those isiots didnt put oil into the transmission. Then i realized my driveshaft bolts are half way out . I am actually thinking of sueing them. My friend that had some injector problems also "fixed" his his truck here but 100 miles later he broke down again with an electrical problem. Dont reccomend

These guy's are Great. My daughter broke down between Dillon and Whitehall at about 5 am coming from a Rodeo in Dillon heading to White sulfur Rodeo. She was half way in the road with a trailer in tow.Thank God they got their fast 47 miles out out White Hall and got her to Whitehall safe and sound. Matter of fact I left Helena shortly after I called them and they where waiting at their yard when I got there. Thy where even going to buy her breakfast thinking I was going to be a while. Big thanks for you all for getting up and getting my Daughter to safety on Labor Day. They did charge me a leg and arm either.
