They got me unstuck pretty fast. It was a non emergency situation, and they got a driver out the next day. Cody drove out, assessed the situation and came up with a plan that got my food truck out of the mud without damaging the truck or the garage it was dangerously close to. Thanks y’all, what a load off. I’d call them again for sure, though (knock on wood) hopefully I won’t be in that situation again!

We broke down 8 miles out of Belgrade on the 90 at 5pm. After insurance couldn't help us with a tow (we have a 38ft Skoolie), owner of Black Stack, Justin, picked up his phone around 9pm. Cody was on the scene within an hour, even after being off the clock for the day. They graciously let us stay in the bus at the shop while we waited for the turbo to get shipped from Denver. Betsy drove to the next town over to grab the part from the delivery guy in order to get the part sooner. Tim worked non stop to make sure we were on the road asap. They did quality work and at a reasonable price. What a great family owned business with honest, hard working mechanics. I highly recommend! Rohn Family Adventure is back on the road!

Do not use this towing service! Yesterday I was in a car accident and needed my car towed to my house. I asked the tow truck driver to please take it to my house I don’t want to be changed for impound fees at their impound lot. The driver flat Out refused and took my car to the impound lot. I called management at Black Stakes to ask if they could get my car towed by to my house. They agreed and drop my car off $400 change later. The tow truck driver dropped off my car on my lawn I asked him to be mindful of the glass and brush. He messed up the grass and l my car in the blush. They are horrible scammer.

We were stuck in the snow on the side of the interstate we had a tow truck coming but it was a 2 hour wait they were very busy. Someone from black stack towing saw us when he was pulling someone else out so he offered to pull us out we said sure thank you then they charged us $300 just to pull us out. In the end we should have waited for the free tow it was almost like they were poaching tows from other companies and charging a lot more just to pull you out not even take you anywhere. very disappointed

They towed a large RV for us for the second time. Everyone was friendly and nice over the phone and in person. They did a great job driving and getting it into a new space for us.

I have had to use Black Stack more then I care to, but Cody & Betty are both great. Very accommodating & have always done what they said, never a bait & switch with them. They have made room in thier schedules to pick up my broken down truck, when every other tow company in town was telling me it would be weeks before they could get to me. Cody is fast & efficient, hooking up in mere minutes. The entire process was streamlined and they get er done.

I went to this buisness to pick up one of our trucks that was rolled over. im a tow truck driver for my trucking company and i have to say the owner and the crew i met were really great people . they offered assistance if i needed and allowed me to utilize there yard when they didnt have to. from one tow operator to another i greatly appreciate your service you have done for our company.

Black Stack has the best service and customer service in the valley. I have and will continue to highly recommend them to everyone. They are always fun to work with and perform all services within a timely manner.

I knew I had very large issues with my truck and these guys explained every step along the way. Justin was very patient and always took every step I suggested as well as explained my options before I made the decisions. I never met these guys but talking on the phone we built the trust and the relationship we needed to do what was needed. I can not thank these guys enough. I called lots of places getting as many quotes as I could and these guys right out of the gate had everyone beat by price and comfort just through phone conversations. I felt like our truck was in great hands as our conversations grew and the processes begun! I couldn’t be happier with the end result! These guys went above what was needed and celebrated victory’s along the way! I highly recommend black stack. When I needed help and was stranded they were there promptly and were very skilled and professional. I have used their service numerous times and have never been disappointed.

Fantastic Service! I had to use Black Stack's service to transload a few forklifts for a repower on a load. The carrier that had the product lied about what was on his trailer, Black Stack powered the trailer to their shop and pulled out an nonstandard pallet with the special equipment they have at their yard, turning a 2 hour job starting at 1700 to a job lasting until midnight. They still provided the service allowing for us to service our customer. 10/10 would use again.

Black Stack saved our carhauler ! Only one of the places we called that would pull start our semi. Driver was very professional and courteous. Also brought us extra coolant! Highly recommend Justin and Black Stack. 👍🏼

If you need a tow in this area... Call them! They go above and beyond! Justin is a stand up guy! EXTREMELY HELPFUL, COMPASSIONATE, WILLING to do whatever it takes for people. My wife and I were pulling a stock trailer, called Black Stack and Justin called repair places for us, transported our stock trailer, us as well as checked up on us even AFTER our breakdown. PERFECT business. 10+. Hands down. We are very THANKFUL to them. Thank you Black Stack / Justin for turning a "bad experience" .... Good. There truly are great, honest people / businesses in this world. This company / people is definitely one of those.

Kind of awkward, you guy were quick to get to me, accurate and professional in proper diagnosis of the compressor failure in my truck. Even got my trailer to my delivery point. Then Penske POS's decide to tow the truck to Spokane, Wa for the repair. I don't have words for it. You guys are great. Keep up the great job, don't let the twits get to ya...

Worst customer service ever. Left several messages without being called back finally got ahold of someone two weeks later just to get a receipt. Receptionist and mechanic both had very bad attitudes.

Justin at Black Stack is my hero! I had a total tire blowout on I90 10 miles before Bozeman. I have never had that happen before and Justin pulled up behind me and put up cones so other drivers going 80mph wouldn't crash in to me. He got the spare from the trunk and all the tools needed and changed my tire! I tried to give him money but he wouldn't take it. I offered a hug and he accepted. Justin, you saved me today. Thank you for your kindness. I made it safely to Wyoming on the spare and I will tell everyone to call Black Stack towing in Bozeman for the best service ever!

Absolutely would not recommend this company. They are most likely the only company in town that uses "port-to-port" for their charges. If you're unfamiliar with what that means it literally translates to "we charge you to drive our empty tow truck back to our shop." This method effectively takes them from the lowest price per mile to the highest in town by doubling your miles towed. This process was also not described to me by the receptionist. This should be made abundantly clear and although it could have been an honest mistake, I have a hard time believing they would get much business describing the process in full. Plenty of companies in town that charge much much less.

When I look back upon my experience with the performance level, professionalism, response time, and overall level of service with Black Stack, as I am bound by integrity and honesty, I would compare it to having seen the Godfather by Francis Ford Coppola for the very first time....or having known and felt the joy of being truly loved by another, for the first time. I found myself in a very Arduous situation with little hope that my fate could be managed. Thankfully, I contacted Black Stack. Their diligence, response time, expert knowledge, and ability to take what was a hopeless situation, into a safe and viable state, was and could only be described as truly profound and I am and will forever be eternally grateful for Black Stack. I rarely, if ever, find that a 10 out of 10 is warranted, however, I'm very happy to be able to refer to this experience as one of those few events. 10+. These guys are awesome!!!! I would recommend them to anyone. They were able to get to my house very quickly when I needed them, a dog locked in a running truck in the garage...... and then the dog did it again when I got home that night and they came out that night to help. They are amazing.

Called on a Saturday evening for my parents. I wasn't even with them. Justin was pulling another vehicle back and wasn't able to help them but called another driver to come get them. Quick and easy and super helpful! Would recommend to anyone!

We had a problem with our alternator, went to the shop found some wires that were not hooked to the starter! Justin is Awesome and fair! Prices are reasonable, work is good! We also found a washout for our Grain Wagon at the same place. We would recommend them for anyone!!
