My husband tried getting parts for his car from here and the owner denied him, even though my husband offered to pay his awfully high price generally ignored him after that 100% don’t recommend this company. My husband later went to go back and tried to deal with someone else who was actually very nice but then the owners daughter came out and threw a big fit, unnecessary and inappropriate behavior for a business, especially here in Montana
Absolutely horrible company. I tried to buy parts off of them and he kept pushing me out saying he didn’t have them even though he did and then when I brought him the money for a bumper, he was trying to charge $400 for even though it’s worth 150 brand new he declined me and said come back tomorrow absolutely 100% don’t recommend
Saved our bacon today . Car stalled in traffic and we pushed to side of road . Called for help and they arrived promptly and dropped off at shop . Got us back on road ! Great service and people !! Highly recommend !!

I can’t recommend this company more! Great company run by amazingly helpful and kind people! Our truck broke down in Glacier and I’m so glad that the park Rangers recommended American Auto Towing & Salvage to us. Lisa and Jeff were awesome to work with!
The whole situation was made so much more pleasant while dealing with genuinely nice people. Jeff knew exactly what he was doing and loaded our truck up with no problem even with it being in a somewhat sketchy stretch of road. Lisa was very helpful over the phone and even helped us find a last minute hotel for the night while we were out of cell service. They also dropped us off and picked us up from the hotel! Awesome, awesome people.
We were grateful that they also have a Salvage Yard! They helped us look around for the correct part and offered to help us replace it! We were up and on the road again within a few hours the next morning!
If you need towed I highly recommend calling them first!
Best darn service I have ever had.
My truck was dead 15 miles up a remote forestry road. Jeff was on his way with no delay. A difficult recovery because the one lane road required a long section of driving in reverse to load the truck. (No turn around space). No issues, Jeff got it loaded and delivered to a dealer in Kallispell promptly.
Highly recommend American Towing, good equipment and well trained techs.

Out of town and out of options, I was feeling very down on my luck until I picked up the phone and got in touch with Lisa from American Auto Towing & Salvage. She was so pleasant on the phone. She understood my situation and offered me immediate peace of mind that they could assist me. Lisa and Jeff arrived to my location in incredible time… mind you, this is on a Saturday evening and after hours.
Jeff was awesome, he greeted me with a big smile and he went right to work making the essential repairs that would get my family of 5 back on the road safely.
These are two really exceptional people. I feel lucky to have met them and hope they know how much this professional and caring service meant to me and my family.
