Well, I had a professional experience here. So I was definitely hesitant about doing business here. After reading all the reviews here I was expecting a bad experience. It was definitely clear to me that new management has read all the reviews and have taken corrective actions to address issues. My experience was absolutely professional and within what I expected from a recycling company. I was given unsolicited advise as to how to better separate my scrap in the future for "clean material rates". I was actually gonna take a star or half away as I didn't get the better rate, but I understand that a buisness can not cut breaks to everyone as they would lose money. It is DEFINITELY clear to me that the new management has seen the reviews and made significant changes to ensure a quality experience for the betterment of the company. I would say to anyone looking to do buisness here to give the new management an opportunity to restore your faith in them. I had an absolutely professional experience.

First things first, if you take a vehicle in, CUT YOUR OWN CATALYTIC CONVERTER OFF, they will not pay you for it if you dont. They will pay you half of what the vehicle is worth, then cut the cats off themselves and screw you.
Secondly, the disrespect of the worker was incredible. The guy didnt give us a chance to look at the receipt before he just scanned it at the money machine and the money popped out. What if I wanted to refuse the sale?
Thirdly, they will not hear any complaints about thier weight adjustments. I know I had over 3200lbs of steel in the 5000lbs vehicle I took in, got paid for 3000 lbs. No chance to debate it bc I had to fight to get my recipt after the goofball just scanned it for me.
Lastly, just the attitude of everyone I spoke to at the main site was very poor. I understand it was early and they didnt want to be at work, no one does. That is still no excuse for the lack of respect my wife and I were shown.
In closing, I am a very respectful person who never abuses workers, and rarely leave negative reviews. This is the absolute worst recycling center in Western Montana. I will never go back, and I will tell everyone I know not to go back. DO NOT TRUST THEM TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND DO NOT TRUST THEM TO GIVE YOU THE CORRECT WEIGHT.
My son is trying to earn money and help clean up the Missouri river by magnetic fishing, worked hours and then went to the center, man scammed him said nothing was worth it, didn't even weigh it just said throw it away, then they resell it and get money for themselves. SCAMMING KIDS DOING GOOD IS BAD BUSINESS!
My father has been taken advantage of by this company several times now. I do my research daily in regards to prices and the math doesn’t math when I ask my father how well he did. My father is very OCD and does an above average job at cleaning and separating his scrap. The other time he was taken advantage of was the recycling of a catalytic converter. I personally did the research for the national average along with the year, make and model of the vehicle and the serial number on the converter. When he contacted me he told me the employee was rude and didn’t care to even listen to him when he presented him with the numbers and paperwork he brought. My father was and still is a very respected man in great falls. Being hes retired and disabled and scraps as a means to keep the community and area he lives clean and to have some pocket change just to be taken advantage of by greedy people pisses me off!! I have read the reviews and have had way to many people tell me of this company’s deceptive practices. Accountability and the integrity of this company in my opinion needs to be addressed.
Watched them deliberately and magically knock 200 pounds off my load… no receipt ..
Some big heavy set guy “scale master” needs to be checked … probably saved that extra 50 bucks for his natty light … manipulative prices …
Never again will I use pacific recycling again. Dishonest crooks.
I have been taking a lot of metal to this place. They now have a catalytic converter guy that is ripping off customers. It is very disappointing that they allow this to happen. I would not suggest using them for this reason. As for bringing in vehicles I highly recommend them. They give really good prices for cars.
Always use this location for my recycling. The front desk lady knew exactly where to direct me and knows all the answers to my questions! Satisfied customer, will be back soon as my recycling piles up. :)
i take scrapped appliances here about once a month and sometimes more. I always have a positive experience every time i am there. it is a speedy process and the staff is always personable. i will be a life long customer.
This is one of the best recycling centers I've been to. The staff is friendly and hard working. I have a family member that makes me recycle. The women at the counter was very nice and polite and she made the process simple as can be to get my things recycled.
I go here from time to time and recycle my goods the staff is always nice and pleasant to deal with. The young women greeted me with a smile and gave me excellent customer service i thought more people should know.
