Unfortunately, my car decided to stop running in the middle of business 60, right in front of AutoZone. I was panicking because I was unable to move it and I had a long line of vehicles behind me at the stop light. Thankfully several guys came to my rescue, including one of AutoZone's employees. I was walked by another gentleman into the store while Gater, along with others, finally was able to push it out of the way and into the AutoZone parking lot. Gater went above and beyond to try and help me!! He put my car on machine, gave me printout then went ahead and explained in detail what the print out was saying.... I had to wait for a my ride to come get me from Poplar Bluff so they allowed me to hang out in the store so I could stay warm. I went outside to gather my belongings out of my car and about 20 minutes later, Gater came out to check on me and he had even looked into the cars problems further after I went outside. He explained what the most likely culprit was in a way I could understand.... Because heaven know , I'm no mechanic! Anyway, I am so very thankful for everyone that helped me out this afternoon. And beyond impressed with how Gater was patient and explained things so I could understand!! He is the most mechanically inclined AutoZone employee that I've ever met. Usually at parts stores, most of the employees are about as educated mechanically as I am! So big shout out to Gater! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I was in today to get my check engine light checked and the manager there was incredibly rude and condescending. Even laughed in my face when I asked a question. I will never go to the Dexter location again.

I was in from out of town and was very pleased with the help and recommendations that I received here. All three people that I came into contact with a very friendly. The 2 men worked as a team to come up with a solution for me. I came in to purchase antifreeze. Rather than them just trying to get the sale, they were 100% honest with me, educated me and also pointed me in the right direction. All of which could have turned into a mess if they weren't honest. Thank you!

Some one need to reach Out to me because this man that’s supervisor name Jacob need too be fired the way he think he can voice what he feel or how he feel when he dealing with people that come in there and he check out this man cuss me out me out assuse me of stealing from somewhere eles and coming there to Bring it back like this Guy need to be fired because he cuss some one out on the phone in front of me while I was waiting and then afterwards tell me he wasn’t doing any return because what he feel so I didn’t say nothing but ok and he go on on on to accuse me of stealing like when have it been Ok autozone for you guys worker To accuse someone stealing all because they bring some back twice this man cuss me out told me nobody can do shit to him because he a manger when someone read this comment what do I need do report the disrespect

They helped me get the correct things I need for my car but the management is uncalled for , I went to buy a part and a MANAGER was spraying a EMPLOYEE with Lysol and staying he was smelly and making a big deal about it, and it clearly made that employee very uncomfortable. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE no matter what. Someone needs to take care of their or I'm going to report it tosomeone higher at this store , you have forever lost a customer.

The employees are helpful and get the job done but they treat their staff like dirt and talk down to other people on their crew. That's uncalled for if your a business.... Probably won't be going back to this one for a while

I came in needing help testing my battery and alternator. An employee named Gator greeted me with a smile and said he would be glad to help me out. We went outside and tested my battery and found that it needed to be replaced, Gator gladly offered to install a new battery for me. During the battery change we noticed a lot of built up corrosion which Gator did a great job cleaning up and added corrosion prevention. Gator made my day much better than it could have been! This is why I come to AutoZone!

Had to make a stop on our road trip back to Michigan, met Gator an his amazing crew. They were able to diagnose the problem, got me the right parts an went out of there way to get us back on the road. Gators an his crew are amazing an I would highly recommend stopping by an talking to these guys if your having any issues. Highly recommend this store absolute 20/10.

Had trouble with the wheels on my RV today while on the road. Walked over to Auto Zone to get some parts while the wheels were being repaired at the tire shop. The man working here was extremely helpful and I just want to say "Thank You". Awesome experience.

We stopped in at the Dexter, MO. Autozone to purchase wiper blades. Gator and the entire crew came out to our truck to assist us. Great customer service...

Harold did a fantastic job he was knowledgeable, friendly and I was greeted when I walked in the door. The store was clean and well stocked. I was thanked an told have a nice day. It was just really great to get such excellent customer service, because it's truly almost unheard of for customers to come first anymore. Thank You Autozone.

Honestly, I never can find an educated person. If the computer don't tell them what I'm asking for, it certainly don't exist. Better go to O'Reilly or NAPA.

You know when you're having a really bad day and you pull into Sonic to get a little something? Then, your car dies. Nothing works. No engine turn over. Not even a buzz. When this happens, call Auto Zone in Dexter and ask for Jayson. He is the nicest person. He came to Sonic and started my car. And gave me a very useful tip. I cannot stress enough the pleasantness, and kindness of this man. I already buy from Auto Zone and will continue to do so.

Faith was incredibly helpful when my engine was overheating due to missing coolant. She was patient and educational so I feel empowered to troubleshoot in the future. The rest of the staff (Earl and Andrew) were supportive as well. 10/10 would highly recommend!

I asked them a simple question about where the fuse box was on a 1996 Chevy Lumina.(where they could of punched it up on their computer to find out where, which they didn't)and they were no help in that matter.

7 The customer service sucks the guy didn't even wanna go out to my Diego to she worked and of a tail light bulb I needed very lazy passing their jobs from one cashier to the next I felt that hold or at loss in the store they need to Reger backup regroup and get some good people in there with great customer service skills

Whenever I need a auto part I go here they have the best prices in town in their replacement parts never fail the people that work there very nice and are willing to help you whatever problem you have with your automobile

I drove 15 miles in my gas guzzler with my last piece of change to this AutoZone only to find out that they had closed at 8:00 pm instead of 9:00 pm like they listed. Monday June 12th 2017 talk about the bummer trip due to false advertising smh.....

I stopped by this auto zone because my vehicle was over heating. I went inside and asked a female worker what I would need for an over heating vehicle and she assisted me with purchasing coolant. I went outside unsure to as where to put the coolant and went back inside and asked a male worker if he could show me where to put the coolant and his response was "Well I'm not touching it if it's hot" in a very rude manner when I only asked for his assistance with showing me where the coolant goes. The female worker is the one that ended up kindly showing me where the coolant goes. I was still having issues with my vehicle, the coolant was leaking, I was not comfortable asking for any further assistance do to the fact the male employee caused me to feel as if I was a burden of his time. My significant other drove an hour to come help me figure out the matter and when we asked for loaner tools the male worker seemed annoyed and uninterested in helping. We were able to resolve the issue on our own, however, Ive never been to an auto zone that was unwilling to help find a solution to a problem with my vehicle. The only good thing out of this experience was the female worker and they provided me with a free clamp. I would definitely suggest educating the workers at this location on the importance of customer service and assisting potential customers on products that can help resolve their vehicle issues.
