They are busy but took my truck in right on time for my appointment. Added a last moment request for a tire balance for my spare and they gladly did the extra work.

They always do an amazing job and have been able to repair things on my car that other shops have failed to repair. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and understanding.

We couldn't be happier with the service Dave at A+ Automotive provided. We were traveling, it was a Thursday, and we were so hoping not to be delayed. Dave fit us in, and his knowledgeable, friendly staff provided the service we needed and got us on our way within a few hours. It is reassuring to find a shop that you can trust, charges fairly, and cares about your situation. A+ Automotive is that shop.

These guys are awsome i have a 2000 make camry i have some issue with coolant no one had a solution for that but these guys gave me my car in just 1 days thank you so much for your support

Thought I had caused $1000's of damage to my Fiances car buy driving off a curb. Completely knocked the alignment out of wack and from what it looked like to a person who knows nothing about mechanic work (it's me who knows nothing lol) This man was very understanding about my situation. Yes, I felt guilty for messing up the car to begin with. This amazing ANGEL of a Man called me and told me it wasn't what I was told but was an easy fix. In a world where mostly people are out to get that Buck no matter what, this man gave me back a little more faith in society. Every issue with our cars will ALWAYS be done there. I have a Coolant leak from a Turbo Valve resulting in it needing attention swiftly. This place had me come and go, to their shop after many appointments being set to fix the car over 3 times over 3 weeks. It was like they kept putting others ahead of me. But telling me when I ask.. “Well, we don’t know how hard it’s gonna be, and the bay wasn’t open yet, or the person that works on that bay wasn’t here. I’m thinking the whole time how can anyone run a business if these are their businesses rules? Mind you they took it apart the first day and told me the problem and charged me 300.00 dollars said bring it back in a few days it’s a 2 hour job. Why tell me anything about what you can fix and when if you truly don’t know, or even know if you can fit my car in to be fixed. Why? To end this scolding.. on week 3 they said it’s an all day job. I left it there all day, guess what, nothing done. Every excuse in the book. Bring it tomorrow they said. I go there that next morning 8am, walked in he said” you leaving the car with us?” I said no I’ll stay. He then replied” it could possibly take all day today till tomorrow” I walked out of there. Something is wrong with those people. Don’t go here patrons, save your time and drive pass.

It is hard to find a trustworthy mechanic these days. So I am happy to say A+ is a great choice. It is nice to actually go and be treated with respect and for them to provide the service exactly as quoted. They communicated with me and performed all the repairs from struts, brakes and tires all within a day. Thanks for the great work guys!

My boyfriend had a car towed here after he was driving to work because it was a better option then towing his car all the way back home in Kansas City. It is what it is. This happened Friday of Memorial Day weekend. According to my phone records they called about a week later with the verdict the engine was done. My boyfriend explained he needed to get the title and things in order. They said it was okay as it needed to be mailed out. The 29th of June they called the police and the officer claims in their statement that they had been calling us weekly and we’ve not returned any calls and that the car had been there over two months. Which it was only a month. The police told us we have until Wednesday July 6th to get the vehicle. We agreed since we got the paperwork for the title Tuesday the 28th. And planned to go to Ohio to get the title this week and have the car picked up. On July 1st we called to ask them to leave out the key so the tow truck driver from the scrap yard would be able to get the car to find out they called a repo service because the police didn’t get the car removed soon enough for them. Again communicating was lacking on both parts. My issue is again they lied to the police by claiming they had been calling when I have my phone records pulled up that shows they only called once with the verdict. And I did not answer that call because I was at work. But my boyfriend did call them back. And the agreement the car was to be removed by July 6th and they had the car towed June 30th. Which if they would have called and told us the car was an issue at any point we would have towed it somewhere else or came to a better agreement. This was our first and only time going to this place. They may be great for some people. But for a place that lies, and lacks communication clearly doesn’t have good business skills.

They were referred by a friend for a quick last minute oil change. They were so welcoming, very professional and did great work. I ended up going back to get my rear brakes fixed. I have found my new mechanic 💪🏾

This is the only car repair shop I trust. They're honest, they don't ever charge for something you don't need. Plenty of times, I've asked them to take a look at something, thinking they'd find a problem, only for them to say everything looks alright. They had plenty of opportunity to swindle, but they never do. You can trust them and they do great work!

I had my car towed to A+ Auto Repair and got it returned to me that next day. They were very communicative with me and my insurance company also. They were very efficient doing the work that needed to be done. I truly am glad I took my 2014 Escape to the shop. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I was having significant issues with getting my trailblazer to pass inspection. Several different shops and private mechanics were consulted on the various problems each shop told me a different problem and each one added a new issue. For instance I took it over to Calvert‘s that guy told me it was the exhaust system and a couple of other minor repairs. He then told me for $1100 he would fix the whole shebang and I would have no more problems plus it came with a one-year guarantee. Well Calvert‘s didn’t fix anything!! I was out $1100 and of course when I went back the guy was nowhere to be found and I never got a return call. By the time a family member referred me here I had spent around $2500. So anyway I was finally told to go here so I set up an appointment fully expecting for them try to be rude, or try to mansplain everything or worse ask to talk to my husband or my father all because I’m a woman. But that’s not what happened at all! The mechanic I spoke with was named Larry. He was very helpful and insightful regarding my blazer. He was also very kind and courteous he walked me through the issues with my vehicle one by one. He did not talk down or “mansplain” to me. He didn’t ask to speak with my husband or my father when I looked confused, and he didn’t give me an over inflated price to then try to give me a several hundred $ discount if I did it that day. He did however take me into the shop and showed me the car on the lift. He pointed out the problems exactly where they were, gave me some basic customer education regarding the problem. He informed me of the safety issues and further damage risks of a quick repair vs waiting to repair. He gave me an approximated cost and time period that he would need to properly complete the repairs. So I booked the repairs and to further surprise Larry completed the repairs on time and at the expected cost! None of that “Well when I got in there I also found….” that the other places did to get more $$. Due to his exceptional professional demeanor, the fact that he wasn’t ignorant to me, his obvious vast knowledge, and his honesty my husband and I now only give our business to this shop for any of our car repairs and regular maintenance. I fully recommend Larry and this shop to all my friends whenever they ask me about a mechanic. 5 stars!!! Shop is nice and clean! No naked lady or other sexualized posters on the wall. So you can bring your kiddos if you have to. All the guys there are professional and respectful. Also theres a nice size waiting room if you have to bring the kiddos so you are not crammed in there like at autotire or forced to stand like at NTB! Plus it has ac and heat so extra credit to the owners and management team! PS Thank you my blazer is running top notch now like brand new!

Well I was referred by a good friend, so I went up, met the owner and got some bids on some new tires to bring home to the wife so she could figure out what she wanted. She picked out her desired tire, and I called up to make an appointment, and when I did I asked if I needed to let them know what tires we wanted to make sure they had em in on the day of service and they told me it wouldn’t be a problem. I show up for my appointment and they tell me the tires we wanted were out of stock and they proceeded to try and sell me some other tires that they had no knowledge about the rating of the tire, what the mileage of the tire was and they assumed because it was the same brand it must be the same tire. The owner was out of town, so I didn’t bother taking it up with him but had they given me the option to preorder the tires so that we could have the ones we wanted or give them a heads up on what we wanted, they woulda got my business. So I just walked out.

This place has good ol boy honest mechanics. I've been looking for a new mechanic since my step father mechanic passed away... unfortunately all the shops around me seem to be dishonest so I'm super glad I found this place! It is veteran owned. I have referred them to SO many people I've lost count and everyone now calls this their mechanic home. Ask for Vance and tell him Bill sent you! ;)

I am updating this review by removing one star. Nothing has changed about this companies honesty, pricing, or reliability. However, not allowing customers to wait on their vehicles makes it almost impossible to come here. I do not begrudge the owner for implementing this decision (because of Covid-19). However, I will not be returning. Again, I have no disdain towards this business, or anyone specific. I just need to be able to wait on most jobs. I do wish the business nothing but success. No response needed.

Amazing lads, saved me $600+ from the dealer on a Subaru WRX clutch replacement. Always go here, always will. Wish I could give 6 stars and I'll fight anyone who disagrees. Larry is particularly helpful and does fantastic work. Seriously, if you're looking for a regular shop, this is it. My girlfriend goes here too and they never try to gouge her even though she knows nothing about cars. 10/10!!

Came in for a front end alignment but left with a broken passenger window. I was told that the mechanic had to lower the window but they had the key AND the key fob for the locks?!? And yet I am now paying $200 to fix my passenger window........... In response: Clearly your understanding IS lacking as is the communication from your mechanics. The drivers side window was not working but the passenger's side was and that is the window your shop returned to me broken and in the fully down position on a freezing day no less! Is your understanding now fully aware, sir? A reason for the mechanic not realizing he had the alarm/lock key fob?

Veteran owned company. Family atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff with a take care attitude. Been going here for several years now & my aunt does now too. Update Still come here, even though we have moved down to Holly Hills in S City, I trust them and the 40 min drive is worth my loyalty.

We've been bringing our vehicle(s) here for oil changes and repair work since 2016. They're honest, do great work, are trustworthy mechanics, and are reasonably priced. I'm very glad we discovered them because before hand we were going to chain auto repair shops and those shops just aren't comparable. A+ Auto really is "A step above the rest." Thanks for all you guys do!

I have not had any personal work done her but through my job we do have a contract with A+. They have been excellent in service, reliability, and communication. If I had to use them for myself i would not hesitate.

I own a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT, and had custom exhaust installed. It was professionally done! I couldn't ask for better results all around. This place has a great team, and they know what they're doing!!! It's a family- friendly atmosphere, and they treat you like they've known you for years! Great place to get work done at a fair price 👍 I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done! I'm completely satisfied.

A quality mechanic is as important as having a good doctor. Vance, David and the A+ Auto Repair crew are the best in the business. I always leave their shop having learned something about my vehicle and the work is top notch. Honest and affordable. I highly recommend this shop, the only one I trust with my vehicle.

First time customer. Need my car inspection and imisions. Usually I go to do this and I'm told I need 1,000 worth of work to pass. I'm overcharged and feel ripped off. I left there feeling well taken care of by an honest business and employees. I will be back.

We have a 13 year old Crossfire Roadster that we love, but were worried about finding a shop capable of repairs on it without charging outrageous prices. My husband went to A+ and he will never go anywhere else again. They tackled the "sticky key" issue and the car is back to acting brand new! The price was very fair and reasonable and Vance and his crew were very friendly and professional.

I have been using A+ for well over a year to maintain 5 older vehicles, 1985 to 2003. They communicate well and have always met or exceeded expectations. I would recommend them to family and friends.
