This company is a complete nightmare. The main problem was a guy named Cody. He was rude, unprofessional, and flat-out dishonest. He showed up late, gave us the runaround, and then lowballed us on prices like we wouldn’t notice. It honestly felt like a scam. If this is the kind of person they send out to represent their business, it says everything you need to know. Don’t waste your time here.
My first time going there, I went in with some shred and some non-ferrous metal, most of that went fine, but the boss was very rude towards his employees, I witnessed him cussing out a kid. That is not a professional nor appropriate way to treat your employees. I will not be going back. I will be going elsewhere.
I don't know how a 21lb bucket of brass turned into refinery because of a couple of O-rings. They did it underhandedly and to me that is the same as stealing.
I've been to a lot of recycling places here in the past couple years and rock online with some nice people we will destitute the day before Thanksgiving have no money I just became homeless and we had two minutes to spare before they close and they let us go ahead and turn our scrap down they saved two families from being out of electric this holiday thank you Rock Island
I had my wife take some cast aluminum to them to scrap for me while I was at work, the day before they told me as long as it was fully taken apart they would give me .25 lb. They only gave her .05 lb. And called it breakage even though there was nothing wrong with what I was turning in for scrap
