They are useless. I am not sure what’s the point of having trash or recycle if they don’t take any of it. So many restrictions!! Today they left more than half of my trash in the bin without even taking it. We are not sure at this point what should be done if we have a project going on in the house. Unfortunately, there is no competition otherwise I would’ve picked a different way of disposing my trash or recycle.

Hannah and Trish at the Scale houses are amazing! Tim, Josh, Ben, and Zach are also great as they make sure everything runs super smooth. Only reason for a 4 star is because they will not open their commercial accounts anymore.

Place has become far less convenient over time. This place used to take plastic bags, oil, and batteries, but no longer does. Outdoor recycling is restricted to cardboard, plastic, glass, paper and aluminum. The outdoor containers that are available have very small slots for desposing of your reclyables, so you have to insert each piece individually. No dumping your can or throwing a bag in. If the cans are full, which they usually are on weekends, you're out of luck. I'd like to help do my part with reducing landfill waste, but places like here made it too inconveinent or too expensive compared to just tossing in the trash.

Hey I'm here to complain about the new outdoor cans that takes everyone time and considerable more effort to recycle. If they have such an issue with loose bags they should pay someone(s) the time and effort it deserves to rid of the them and not try to change everyone's quality of life.

Imagine not being able to dump my recyclables into the dumpsters this does not make me wanna recycle at all. I can’t even fit cat litter buckets in the small holes . This is so dumb and makes it take 3x longer. And they stopped buying cans this year this place sucks now. Went downhill fast.

They've modified their outdoor containers to make them much harder to use . I guess they don't want people to recycle

Used to be great. Now it’s too much of an inconvenience. I’ll just throw my recycling in the trash like everyone else.

The new containers are doing everything possible to discourage recycling. Can’t empty a bag of items. Have to an item at a time.

They replaced the old containers with new ones with tiny little holes on the side. Now, you have to put each container and piece of cardboard in individually. You can't even pour your bag in because the holes are too small, and they're on the side (which means gravity pulls the recycling to the ground, not inside). I get that you don't want us to recycle, but just take the bins away if that's what you want!

Hours of operation do not match what is on their website! I spoke with an employee who said this happens constantly and that the city will not fix it...

Paper, cardboard, and plastic recycling. Toss it in the appropriate bins and leave. Very easy.

I have a Junk calling business and I love St. Peters recycling been using them for years

I went to them on a recommendation but then I was turned away because my license plate is expired. So they would rather that I illegally dump than stay in their lane and allow me to responsibly discard my waste. Why not just cut me off from trash pickup as well? This seems like a very peculiar reason to deny service for a completely unrelated reason. So I will just switch plates with my wife’s car and then go dump. Problem solved. Thanks for the added inconvenience.

They are back to accepting trash from anybody at anytime

The city website says they close at 4:30 for dumping. We arrived just after 4 thinking we had plenty of time. Wrong. They turned us away. If you aren’t open for business till 4:30, change the hours of operation on your website please. Evidently I’m not the first person this has happened with.

Hours of operation listed online not correct, arrived at 4:03, told they have 4:00 cutoff.

Easy to get to and straightforward as to where to drop what off. Dumpsters are marked and easy to get to to unload items you have. Plenty of cardboard recycle dumpsters in a row means easy out just pull up and unload then pull back onto the road. They have plenty of dumpsters so no need to worry about bringing any volume of stuff to recycle.

Absolutely love this place. And being a resident of st.peters has its perks , especially if you need to dispose of trash .

Great place use it multiple times a day, wish there wasn't such long lines sometimes though because having your own business when you have to wait over a hour at the dump is inconvenient but overall still my go to dump.

These guys are extremely efficient, and we got the best customer service ANYWHERE from Jesse. Going back to this location every time we need it.

24-7 recycling drop off (unattended after 4:30). Note that the CARDBOARD receptacles are BROWN and UNLABELED.

What's not to love about recycling? Also, great prices (for St. Peters residents, at least) on mulch & compost, AND free nitrogen for your car's tires (residents only).

Wonderful place to drop off your recyclables and your trash. The drop off is open 24 hours a day.
