First sprint car race ever!! Enjoyed it with my daughter..will be going back. 2023 season you now can use debit or credit card to enter the races. An awesome addition to being able to go and enjoy some great entertainment.
Okay..... can't necessarily rate this place because it was my first time at this type of event. That being said, I had fun!!! Only stayed long enough for Time Trials, but it was cool!!! Was at the Casey's General store and heard the motors BLARING AND REVVING up the street!! So my boy and I went and had a look see. Wasn't disappointed. Couldn't stay for races cause we were on a schedule. Too bad because we both wanted to stay.
If you like sprint racing ..... prices are good food is good people are good country people. ...... Its not the outlaws but its a good time for good prices.
Great track. Great concessions. The viewing stands are hard to navigate due to no stairs. You have to make the long strides from seat to seat and have caused a few to fall.
We had a great weekend here with family and friends. Enjoyed watching Tyler Crow win the Jr. Sprint class. Restrooms were good. Concessions has good choices and friendly service. Our one and only complaint would be the time management of the race. There was alot of time wasted in-between the events. Both nights the racing didn't start till 11pm and over at 3am. The track we normally go to has between 150-200 cars. Start at 6 and we are home by 1am. Both long nights but that 2 hours makes a big difference between wanting to return or not.
Well me my Stepdad, and grandpa Bobby (Red) Davidson along with our entire Family built the original ParkSide raceway in Sweet Springs Mo.
So many others took part in making it. Lots of great memories and friends made. Just a Total shame they took the Red Davidson founders day race off of the
Schedule. Absolutely disgraceful! Just to let you know. Bobby (red) Davidson is alive and well.

Great track and the people that you meet in and around the racing team's and spectators are always upbeat and friendly people. The track is usually fast and can race multiple line's. Thanks for the memories and life's journey.
A good night at the races was ruint because they have the worst announcer possible he is very annoying and thinks he is humorous and knows whats going on but dosen't have a clue how to do that job and be entertaining to add to the great racing there - when they turned the lights on behind the stands that were not needed the stands became swarming with bugs which also ruint the evening - i had not been there in a few years because of the announcer they accuried and will not go back until i here at least there is a change with him
Awesome little dirt track just off I-70 north of Sweet Springs. Highly recommended if you like the motorcycle engine mini sprints. Good food, cheap ticket price and bring your own beer.
Overall, a very good facility. Parking is never too bad, pit pass is a little expensive, 20 bucks, all ages.... Even my 2 year old, which is annoying, but whatever. They have decent food at the track. Typically they run the races pretty quickly, but they tend to throw the caution too often and run too many laps under cation.
Come here all the time! Great people! Very supportive fans and family that come to SSMC. I am from Sweet Springs so entertainment is just a hop skip and a jump away from me.
I can not speak for others, but I have always enjoyed dirt track races. I have found this place to be family friendly, and always has snacks and drinks available.
