What clients say about JGM Auto & Powersports in Huntsville (MO)
This is a confusing review because it's for the two separate businesses. 1 star for Powersports/ATV/UTV work, but 5 stars for Auto/Vehicle repairs and maintenance. Gage is great and has never done me wrong for my vehicle work. However, for powersports repair with Josh, avoid him if you have an older (mid-00's) machine to work on. I went in with a pretty clear issue and after $1,400, still have the same issue + another issue. He might be good for newer powersports, but my experience with them was terrible.
Always great to deal with. Had work done on my '05 Ram, '19 Honda, and mid '00 Ranger. All issues fixed, no problem. Great price, friendly customer service. Will continue to take all my vehicles of any kind here for anything. Recommend to anyone.
Clueless confidence. That's how I would describe Josh Mast for powersports repairs & work. He acts very self-assured when he's giving his analysis of what needs to be done, but it quickly turns into an expensive repair guessing game - throwing parts at it 'til something works. You may even come home with more problems than when you began with.
This may not be the case for everything he does, but for me, it perfectly describes my experience with him to work on my UTV. I won't be using him again.
I only rate them two stars because they were friendly and very transparent with everything done. They seem to do alright for auto-work, but I had a one-time only experience with them for powersports repairs. Without wasting time on detail, I brought my UTV in to them with an issue and ended up getting it back after an expensive bill, that guaranteed it was fixed, with not only the same issue remaining, but more issues.
I took the UTV to someone else and had the initial issue resolved. However, this guy revealed that nothing JMR did was necessary, and some of what they did resulted in the added issues.
I won't be returning to them for powersports work.
