David did an absolutely outstanding job switching out my car battery in the cold and snow even though he was running the shop completely by himself because no other employees could make it in the weather. Tried a different store before this one who were clearly too lazy to go outside and told me they couldn’t do it. I appreciate David’s time, effort and attitude!! Great guy!
These guys are good. They will try to help no matter what they may not have exactly what you want but they’ll try to make something work for you three in Platte city and pretty close to the interstate so they’re in a good place.
Really enjoyed this store. Highly recommended. The people in there were very friendly and knowledgeable. Went to return and item and had absolutely no issues. Also, the store was kept very clean. Lots of options to choose from.
Very knowledgeable staff who will take the time to explain car parts and repairs to you. The atmosphere is relaxed, and I didn’t feel judged or questioned as I often do at other auto stores. Highly recommend this place, especially if you want help or advice.
The service men were very helpful. I knew what I needed, but did not have the technical part names readily available for him at first. He was able to determine exactly what it was I needed and ordered it in the next day. Since I couldn't pay online for it, he honored the discount. I was really impressed with the service. I was able to change out the part the next day and get my car working again!
So we had a tire fly off on the highway at 65+. Somehow it hit no one and we recovered it. David here at Carquest was more help than I could have ever imagined. We also lost the dust cap, but we couldn’t find a replace, but David helped pioneer a solution. We got back on the road and then we blew a tire(Election Day bad luck?). Didn’t know what to do considering we were now stuck between Platte City and Saint Joe. Called David back and he had fantastic recommendations on towing and tire replacement. David really saved our butts. In the future I may just buy from these guys and have us ship the parts because their customer service is unparalleled. Without David I’m not sure which roadside we would currently be stuck on.
Had a great time here. David the manager was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was especially kind as I had 1 year old with me and he made us feel welcome there even though my purchases were small.
My a/c compressor seized up while in platte city, and initially i thought it was a battery. I took an Uber to the store, then they sent a guy back to my car with a new battery. The employee noticed that my a/c compressor wasn't moving. I proceeded to leave the car at their lot until monday and they had the exact part i needed to delete my a/c. They let me change it out in their lot, and they were extremely helpful from the very beginning. Highly Recommend this carquest!
Great Customer service Anthony and his crew did a great job taking care of me today! Order online and pick up in store was quick and painless. Went the extra mile to help me install my battery. Earned a customer for life!
Been in here two times and employees were friendly and helpful both times. No long wait and wasn't ignored like the people at the orange place do a lot.
